Locking element for a lid to a storage area in a seatback of a vehicle
A seatback for a vehicle comprises: a lid having a closed position preventing access to a storage area and an open position allowing access to the storage area; and a locking element having an engaged position that prevents the lid from transitioning from the closed position to the open position and a disengaged position that does not prevent the lid from transitioning from the closed position to the open position; wherein, the locking element transitions from the disengaged position to the engaged position via the force of gravity when the seatback transitions from a fold down position to an upright position, and transitions from the engaged position to the disengaged position when the seatback transitions from the upright position to fold down position. The lid can pivot upward from a rearward portion of the seatback in the fold down position, as the lid transitions to the open position.

A storing device having at least one first body defining at least a first storage volume accessible through a first opening, and at least one second body defining at least one second storage volume accessible through a second opening. The first body and the second body are movable relative to one another along a first direction between a close position and a separated position. The first opening is arranged so that the first storage volume is accessible along the first direction, with the first storage volume being closed along the first direction by the second body in the close position and being accessible along the first direction in the separated position.

RECONFIGURABLE PASSENGER SEAT ASSEMBLY OF A VEHICLE
Passenger assemblies for installation in a passenger cabin of a vehicle are provided. In one implementation, a reconfigurable assembly is adapted to be incorporated in a vehicle, the reconfigurable assembly including at least a base member fixed within a row of passenger seats of the vehicle. The base member includes one or more attachment members. The reconfigurable assembly further includes a seat unit including a frame having one or more attachment members adapted for removable attachment with the one or more attachment members of the base member. Also, the reconfigurable assembly includes a console unit including a frame having one or more attachment members adapted for removable attachment with the one or more attachment members of the base member.
CONSOLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A console support device comprises a first bracket including a placement portion on which a console box is placed; and a second bracket fixed to the first bracket. The second bracket includes a joint portion joined to a lower surface of the placement portion, an inclined portion provided to obliquely bend downward from a rear end of the joint portion, and a base portion provided to bend from a lower end of the inclined portion. A cantilever region which is supported on the joint portion in a cantilever manner is provided on a rear end side of the placement portion. A connection part between the joint portion and the inclined portion forms a first bend portion. A connection part between the inclined portion and the base portion forms a second bend portion.

The cover may comprise at least one of a door, a tambour door, a shade, a blind, a roller blind.

A deployable working surface is provided for use in a reconfigurable passenger cabin of a personal automotive vehicle. The vehicle includes a first seat that can rotate to an inwardly-rotated position. The working surface is provided by a panel that is mounted on a second seat for movement between a stowed position and a working position. This movement includes vertical movement and rotational movement about a vertical axis. When the panel is in the working position, the working surface extends in a radial direction that is perpendicular to the direction the first seat is facing when in the rotated position and is positioned higher that an occupant seating surface of the first seat and in front of a backrest of the first seat.
