Interior system for a vehicle, namely armrest system for a vehicle
An interior system has a support and movable member mounted to be movable relative to the support for adjusting the height of the movable member, with a locking mechanism configured to allow unidirectional movement of the movable member relative to the support from a lowest adjustment position to a highest adjustment position. The interior system includes a deactivation mechanism for deactivating the locking mechanism and allowing the return of the movable member to the lowest adjustment position. The deactivation mechanism includes a track and a sliding member sliding along the track, with the sliding member and the track interacting to allow the locking mechanism to engage upon movement of the movable member from the lowest adjustment position to the highest adjustment position, and to disengage when the movable member exceeds the highest adjustment position and until it returns to the lowest adjustment position.
ARMREST ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR
Armrest arrangement for a vehicle interior having an armrest, a container-receiving device which is provided for receiving a container and arranged at least partially in a cavity of the armrest, and a guide device by which the container-receiving device is guided relative to the cavity along a pull-out direction between a retracted inoperative position and an extended receiving position. The guide device is formed on a rest carrier structure which is provided for supporting the armrest and mounted securely on the vehicle in the assembled state.
Lock device in an armrest console and an armrest console employing the same
A lock device for keeping a cover of an armrest console at a full open position comprises a rotation arm having an arm body attached to the cover including a fixed portion and an end. The rotation arm is pivotably connected to a console body of the armrest console, and a detent is disposed at the end of the rotation arm. The detent is configured to be inserted into a slot in a rear wall of the console body when the cover is moved to the full open position and released from the slot when the cover is moved away from the full open position.
Locking assembly for vehicle armrest
A vehicle storage compartment includes a base bin defining a storage cavity and configured to couple to a vehicle floor, a door coupled to the base bin and configured to move between a closed position and an open position, the door having a latch mechanism configured to selectively engage the base bin to facilitate maintaining the door in the closed position, and a locking assembly coupled to the door and configured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking assembly is configured to selectively engage the base bin in the locked position to facilitate preventing movement of the door from the closed position to the open position. The locking assembly is separate and independent of the latch mechanism such that the latch mechanism remains movable when the locking assembly is in the locked position.
INTEGRATED VACUUM FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
A vehicle having an on-board vacuum includes an interior trim quarter side panel assembly disposed adjacent a third row of seats, and an on-board central vacuum system integrated into the interior trim quarter panel assembly. The interior trim quarter side panel assembly includes an outermost surface, an armrest portion positioned between an inboard sidewall and an outboard sidewall of the interior trim quarter panel assembly, and generally sloping toward an interior floor of the vehicle, and a handle pocket defining an opening in the armrest portion and a cavity below the outermost surface. The on-board central vacuum system includes a vacuum hose coupled to a vacuum motor assembly, and a vacuum nozzle handle coupled to the vacuum hose and nestingly received within the handle pocket such that in a stowed position within the handle pocket cavity, the vacuum nozzle handle is located at or below the outermost surface.
COVERING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
Covering device for a motor vehicle having a foldable flat structure including a plurality of flat elements connected together in an articulated manner and displaceably guided on at least one guide device between a covered position in which the flat structure at least partially covers a receiver space and an uncovered position in which the flat structure at least partially uncovers the receiver space. The at least one guide device includes at least one control region, with different guide elements of the flat elements being path-controlled differently thereon, such that in the uncovered position the flat elements are pivoted at an angle to one another and the flat structure is folded in the manner of a concertina. A flexible covering structure is provided, the flexible covering structure at least partially spanning the flat elements and forming a visible surface of the foldable flat structure.
TUBULAR CONSOLE
A motor vehicle console comprises a mount and a pair of exposed parallel tubular members. Each of the tubular members has a forward section, an intermediate section extending rearwardly, and a rearward section, wherein at least one of the forward horizontal section, intermediate section, and rearward section is disposed at an elevation horizontally above the other of the forward section, intermediate section, and rearward section and each forward section is operatively coupled with the mount.
RETRACTABLE SEAT CONTROL INTERFACE ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE SEAT WITH RETRACTABLE SEAT CONTROL INTERFACE
A retractable interface assembly includes a base member defining a track and a track follower support member engaging the track and moving along the track between a retracted position and an extended position. A viewing angle detent mechanism pivotably connects an interface panel to the track follower support member and defines a plurality of angular positions of the interface panel relative to the track follower support member, including a storage angle position and a full up angle position, to fix the interface panel relative to the track follower support member in one of the plurality of angular positions. A position setting device sets a position of the track follower support member along the track of the base member. The set positions include the retracted position and the extended position of the track follower support member along the track of the base member.
ARMREST ASSEMBLY WITH LID WITH LATCH RELEASE HANDLE
An armrest assembly includes an armrest and a lid mounted on the armrest for relative rotational movement between a closed and open positions. The lid includes a handle cradle with handle guides on opposed sides and an intermediate inner guide. A handle is located in the handle cradle for relative movement between a latch position and a release position. The handle includes a latch. The latch retains the lid in the closed position when the handle is in the latch position. The handle includes a clip that engages a slot on the lid to retain the handle in the handle cradle. The handle also includes guide channels on opposed sides. The guide channels engage the handle guides. The handle includes an intermediate inner guide space. The inner guide space engages the inner guide. The armrest assembly also includes a spring that biases the handle into the latch position.
In-vehicle storage unit
An in-vehicle storage unit that can store an item to be stored in a vehicle, and includes: a storing portion that stores an item to be stored; an opening formed in the storing portion; a lid that is formed on the opening, and can be opened and closed; and a touch sensor panel that is formed in a surface of the lid, and can sense a touch operation by an operator. The touch sensor panel displays an operation icon on the touch sensor panel, in accordance with a sensing signal of the touch operation.
