The frame includes a base segment, by which the frame is anchored to the seatback, and a pivoting distal segment. With the frame's base segment extending away from the seatback, the side armrest is reconfigurable between an armrest configuration and an auxiliary configuration. In the armrest configuration, the frame's distal segment is inline with its base segment, the cover covers the frame, and the cover is supported on the frame for sliding movement along the frame that culminates in lodgment onto its distal segment. In the auxiliary configuration, the cover is lodged onto the frame's distal segment, and the frame's distal segment is pivoted towards the seatback to position the cover to extend in front of the seatback.
LOCK DEVICE IN AN ARMREST CONSOLE AND AN ARMREST CONSOLE EMPLOYING THE SAME
A lock device for keeping a cover of an armrest console at a full open position comprises a rotation arm having an arm body attached to the cover including a fixed portion and an end. The rotation arm is pivotably connected to a console body of the armrest console, and a detent is disposed at the end of the rotation arm. The detent is configured to be inserted into a slot in a rear wall of the console body when the cover is moved to the full open position and released from the slot when the cover is moved away from the full open position.
MOVEABLE TRAY ASSEMBLY
A moveable tray assembly for a vehicle includes a tray portion and a collapsible cup portion coupled to the tray portion. The cup portion is extendible downward from the tray portion and sized to fit within a cupholder recess. A floor of the tray portion extends outwardly from a top circumference of the cup portion to support items. The floor has a length and width greater than 34.
Vehicle interior component
A console for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The console comprises an armrest assembly and a storage compartment. The armrest assembly for the console is configured to facilitate comfort for vehicle occupants. The armrest assembly is adjustable between a lowered position and a raised position. The armrest assembly is also configured to facilitate access to the storage compartment. The armrest assembly may be configured to move between an open position and a closed position. The armrest assembly may provide a tambour door configured to facilitate access of the storage compartment. The storage compartment is accessible when the armrest or tambour door is at the open position; the storage compartment is covered when the armrest or tambour door is at the closed position. The console may also provide a cover (e.g. a shroud) configured to cover the storage compartment when the armrest is between the lowered position and the raised position. A mechanism may be configured to allow movement of the armrest from the lowered position to the raised position, from the raised position to a terminal position and from the terminal position to the lowered position. The terminal position comprises a released position.
CENTER CONSOLE ARMREST FOR VEHICLE
A center console armrest is provided for preventing an armrest from being interfered with an external wall of a center console when the armrest is opened by forming a proximal end portion of the armrest that can be further rotated and inserted into the internal to the console when the armrest is opened, may include an armrest configured to be opened on an upper portion of the center console; a lead portion rotatable about a main hinge disposed inside the center console to cause the armrest to be opened; an armrest hinge configured to connect the lead portion and the armrest; a lower end portion protrusion disposed inside a proximal end portion of the armrest to be inserted into the center console; and a guide rail for guiding movement of the lower end portion protrusion.
INTERIOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, NAMELY ARMREST SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
An interior system has a support and movable member mounted to be movable relative to the support for adjusting the height of the movable member, with a locking mechanism configured to allow unidirectional movement of the movable member relative to the support from a lowest adjustment position to a highest adjustment position. The interior system includes a deactivation mechanism for deactivating the locking mechanism and allowing the return of the movable member to the lowest adjustment position. The deactivation mechanism includes a track and a sliding member sliding along the track, with the sliding member and the track interacting to allow the locking mechanism to engage upon movement of the movable member from the lowest adjustment position to the highest adjustment position, and to disengage when the movable member exceeds the highest adjustment position and until it returns to the lowest adjustment position.
PIVOTABLE REST ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A pivotable rest arrangement for a vehicle interior, and method for producing the rest arrangement. The rest arrangement has a rest body with a cover and a receptacle for a housing shell which is configured for holding at least one drinking vessel, the housing shell having an encircling collar. The collar in the mounted state covers the cover in the region of an edge of the receptacle, and the collar is connected to the cover in a form-fitting, integrally bonded or force-fitting manner.
CONSOLE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The vehicle interior component may comprise a console assembly such as a floor console. The vehicle interior component may comprise a base providing a compartment; a cover movable from a closed position to an open position; and a latch mechanism comprising an arm providing a latch feature to secure the cover to the base. The cover may comprise a latch feature; the arm may move between an elevated position for the latch feature of the arm to engage the latch feature of the cover to secure the cover to the base and a retracted position for the latch feature of the arm to disengage the latch feature of the cover to release the cover from the base. The vehicle interior component may comprise a mechanism to actuate movement of the cover to the open position. The latch mechanism may comprise a concealed magnetic latch.

VEHICLE CONSOLE WITH COUPLED MOTION AND ENHANCED STORAGE CAPABILITIES
An apparatus for an interior vehicle compartment comprises a seat adapted for moving in a travel direction and a console coupled to the movable seat. The console may include one or more of the following: (a) a collapsible portion for collapsing as a body portion of the console travels with the movable seat in the travel direction; (b) a stepped interface for connecting with the movable seat; (c) a rear drawer with a tiltable door to facilitate access by rear passengers; and (d) a deployable holder for a mobile handheld computer. A stationary base may also be provided for supporting the console during movement, such as along guide rails, which base may contain HVAC components, such as ducts, or electronic components, such as wires. Instead of a mechanical connection using a stepped interface, the coupled movement may also be achieved by commonly controlled motors for the seat and console.
