CONSOLE FOR A VEHICLE AND A VEHICLE

A console for a vehicle comprises a body with a top opening, a lid configured to move between a first position, in which the top opening is closed, and a second position, in which the top opening is at least partially exposed, and a guiding assembly engaged between the body and the lid. The guiding assembly includes a first guiding rod and a second guiding rod that are spaced apart, and the first guiding rod has an arc-shaped segment and is configured to pivot around a first pivot end to move the lid from the first position to the second position.

Insert molded torsion bar hinge

One aspect is an insert molded torsion bar hinge including a cylindrical metal torsion bar with a main bar body, a portion of which extends along a torsion bar axis, a first contoured bar end and a second contoured bar end on opposite ends of the main bar body. A first hinged element of molded plastic and with a first knuckle, is molded directly over and encompasses the first contoured bar end such that the first contoured bar end is fixed within and not rotatable relative to the first hinged element. The first knuckle is molded directly over and encompassing a portion of the main bar body. A second hinged element of molded plastic and with a second knuckle is molded directly over and encompasses the second contoured bar end such that the second contoured bar end is fixed within and not rotatable relative to the second hinged element. The second knuckle is molded directly over and encompassing a portion of the main bar body. The first and second hinged elements rotate and produce a torsional spring torque.

Vehicle interior component

A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The vehicle interior component may comprise a base providing a compartment, a cover movable relative to the base comprising a first door and a second door movable between closed and open positions, and a mechanism to couple the doors. The mechanism may provide an engaged state coupling movement of the doors and a disengaged state decoupling movement of the doors. The mechanism may comprise a first member and a second member that may extend and/or retract relative to the first member. At least one of the members may flex relative to the other. The mechanism may comprise a linkage. An effective length of the linkage may comprise a default length to couple movement of the doors and a non-default length to allow independent movement of one door. The component may comprise at least one of a console, a center console, a floor console.

Arm rest trash compartment

The present application relates to an arm rest trash compartment. An arm rest assembly includes an arm rest body having an A-surface with a trash cavity defined therethrough; and a trash compartment corresponding to the trash cavity. The trash compartment includes a movable member releasably secured at the A-surface, and a flexible member which forms the trash cavity. The trash compartment has a stored position and an extended position, where, in the stored position, the movable member is flush with the A-surface, and in the extended position, at least a portion of the flexible member is positioned below the A-surface such that a trash cavity volume in the extended position is greater than a trash cavity volume in the stored position.

VEHICLE CONSOLE ASSEMBLY

A vehicle console assembly includes a body that defines a storage space. The body includes an upper rim. A support assembly is operable between a first position at one end of the upper rim and a second position at a second end of the upper rim. The support assembly is operable between a folded armrest condition and a deployed tray condition. An actuation assembly is operably coupled to the support assembly. The actuation assembly includes at least one cable having coils. The at least one cable is coupled to the support assembly. A motor is configured to engage the coils of the at least one cable to translate the support assembly between the first position and the second position.

VEHICLE CONSOLE ASSEMBLY

A vehicle console system includes a body having first and second sidewalls. Each of the first and second sidewalls defines a rail along an inner surface thereof. A support bar slidably engages the rails. The support bar defines a track. A cover assembly is operably coupled to the support bar. The cover assembly includes a base panel coupled to the support bar via a connector assembly and a deployable panel rotatably coupled to the base panel. The cover assembly is configured to translate along a first movement path with the support bar along the rails and a second movement path along the track of the support bar. The cover assembly is configured to rotate along a third movement path between a first side position and a second side position.

Slide transfer device for vehicle

A slide transfer device for a vehicle includes a first rail portion fixed to a vehicle body, a second rail portion rail-coupled to the first rail portion to slide in the front and rear direction and coupled to a movement guide protruding from the first rail portion, and a damper mounted in a mounting hole formed in the second rail portion and configured to support the movement guide inserted into the mounting hole of the second rail portion.

Armrest element

The invention relates to an armrest element of a seat, in particular of a vehicle seat, having a base body, the armrest element having at least one first connection interface of predetermined design to which an exchangeable extension module having a second connection interface of predetermined design can be fixed, the first connection interface and the second connection interface being designed in such a way that at least one positive connection between the first connection interface and the second connection interface is made possible.

A center console for a vehicle includes a console defining a storage compartment and having an opening allowing access to the storage compartment, an armrest assembly moveably supported, by an articulating support structure, on the console, the articulating support structure adapted to selectively move the armrest assembly between a fully raised position, wherein the armrest assembly is supported above the console and the opening to the storage compartment is accessible and a fully lowered position, wherein the armrest assembly is positioned against the console and covers the opening to the storage compartment, wherein, the articulating support structure is adapted to maintain a horizontal orientation of the armrest assembly at the fully raised position, the fully lowered position and throughout movement between the fully raised position and the fully lowered position.

ARMREST

To provide an armrest that enables suppression of deterioration of the mountability of an accommodation member to a frame and that can make it less likely for the accommodation member to be detached from the frame. A claw of a second engaging portion and a second to-be-engaged portion are opposed to each other in a first direction (the direction of arrows U-D) over an overlap length in a state where an extending portion of the second engaging portion has been brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of a body portion by elastically deforming the extending portion about a base side from a state where the claw is hooked on the second to-be-engaged portion.
