Seat control system

A seat control system is used with a seat of a vehicle and includes a housing, a first pulley rotatable between first, second, and third positions, and a second pulley rotatable between first and second positions. The seat control system includes a first input cable rotating a first pulley when tensioned, a first output cable tensioned by the first pulley, and a second output cable tensioned by the second pulley. A pawl is coupled to and movable with the first pulley between the first, second, and third positions and selectively rotatable relative to the first pulley. The pawl engages the second pulley to couple and rotate the first and second pulleys from the first positions to the second positions. The pawl disengages the second pulley as the first pulley rotates from the second position to the third position to permit rotation of the second pulley to the first position.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL VEHICLE SEAT

A seat for a vehicle is disclosed herein. The seat is configurable in a normal seating position in which a seat base is substantially horizontally arranged and a seatback is arranged in an upright position and a bulkhead configuration in which the seat base and the seatback are both substantially vertically arranged. In the bulkhead configurations, the seat base and the seatback extend upwards from a position close to a floor of the vehicle to a position close to a roof of the vehicle. When in the bulkhead position, the multi-functional seat forms a barrier between a rear cargo space and a front row of seats.

In the seated positon, the seat latch engaged with the floor striker. In the stowed state, the seat latch engages with the seat striker.

An electromechanical actuator unlocks the securing unit in a state controlled by the easy-entry control unit.

To provide a vehicle seat that can achieve both of improvement in operability of a reclining operation and size reduction of the entire vehicle seat. This vehicle seat includes a link mechanism pivoted to a seat cushion (cushion frame), a seat back (back frame), and a leg rest (leg frame), and a hinge pin which is engageable with the link mechanism and disengageable therefrom. In the vehicle seat in a state of being between a seating position and a relaxation position, the hinge pin is engaged with the link mechanism. Accordingly, the seat back and the leg rest can be inclined in coordination with sliding movement of the seat cushion relative to a vehicle body. Thus, the vehicle seat can achieve both of improvement in operability of a reclining operation and size reduction of the entire vehicle seat.

Seat Control System

A seat control system is used with a seat of a vehicle and includes a housing, a first pulley rotatable between first, second, and third positions, and a second pulley rotatable between first and second positions. The seat control system includes a first input cable rotating a first pulley when tensioned, a first output cable tensioned by the first pulley, and a second output cable tensioned by the second pulley. A pawl is coupled to and movable with the first pulley between the first, second, and third positions and selectively rotatable relative to the first pulley. The pawl engages the second pulley to couple and rotate the first and second pulleys from the first positions to the second positions. The pawl disengages the second pulley as the first pulley rotates from the second position to the third position to permit rotation of the second pulley to the first position.
