The operator console may include a mount with a mount bracket configured to be mounted to an operator station of a machine and a control mount configured to support a control unit. The control unit may be configured to control an operation of a component of the machine. The mount may include an armrest bracket configured to support an armrest, an armrest mount configured to support the armrest bracket, a first actuator control configured to permit an adjustment to a position of the armrest relative to the control mount, and a second actuator control configured to permit an adjustment to a position of the armrest and the control unit relative to the operator station of the machine.

Lock for pivoting member in vehicle with push button release

A lock for a pivoting member in a vehicle comprising: a button having a depressed position and an undepressed position; a cam abutting the button having a rotated position and an un-rotated position; and a rod operably connected to the cam having an extended position and a retracted position; wherein, when the button is in the depressed position, the cam is in the rotated position, and the rod is in the retracted position. The pivoting member can be an armrest or a seatback, among other things. The rod includes a first grooved section. The cam includes a first finger adjacent to the first grooved section. As the cam transitions from the un-rotated position to the rotated position, the first finger of the cam interacts with the first grooved section of the rod to cause the rod to transition from the extended position to the retracted position.

Vertically adjustable head restraint

A head restraint assembly includes a base portion including a first post portion extending in a vertical direction. Also included is a head restraint operatively coupled to the base portion. Further included is a housing comprising a front shell and a rear shell. Yet further included is a lock slide manually moveable between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. Also included is at least one armature biasing member surrounding a portion of the base portion and biasing the base portion to be in constant contact with the front shell. Further included is at least one journal friction spring disposed within at least one of the front shell and the rear shell to control a manual adjustment effort, the at least one armature biasing member and the at least one journal friction spring biasing the housing in the same direction.

Inertial latch

An inertial latch for a motor vehicle armrest is rotatably connected to a a bracket mounted to a support structure; an armrest interfacing component is disposed in an arcuate slot in the bracket, the slot extending from a first to a second end; a primary pawl rotatable from a first to a second position and limiting motion of the interfacing component in the slot; a secondary pawl rotatable from a third position to a fourth position and limiting motion of the primary pawl; a stop limits motion of the secondary pawl. The armrest articulates from a closed to an open position, the interfacing component moves through the entire slot when the primary pawl is in the first position, the interfacing component is held within a portion less than the entire slot when the primary pawl is in the second position, and the interfacing component is releasable from the portion.

SEAT CUSHION EXTENSION DEVICE

A seat cushion extension device is provided which can slide a seat cushion via a single spring, and has high assembly efficiency and a low weight due to a simple structure. The seat cushion extension device includes: a base having first and second rack gears provided to face each other; a cushion part provided on an upper portion of the base to move forward/backward; a locking gear part combined with a shaft extending from the cushion part to the base and having a first gear provided to be engaged with the first and second rack gears; and a manipulation part combined with the cushion part to move forward/backward between the cushion part and the first gear, and having a protruding part provided on a lower surface thereof.

Track adjuster

A track adjuster includes a pair of tracks, a lockset configured to selectively restrict movement of the pair of tracks, a first lever configured to actuate an actuator of the lockset, a second lever configured to actuate the first lever, and a spring configured to apply a first biasing force to the first lever in a first rotational direction and apply a second biasing force to the first lever in a second rotational direction. The spring may be a torsion spring that may be wrapped at least partially around a cross member connecting the pair of tracks with a second pair of tracks.

Adjustment device for a motor vehicle

An adjustment device includes a housing in which a rotary element is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis, a locking device having a first locking element, connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the rotary element, and a second locking element arranged on the housing and which can be reversibly moved between a primary position in a locked situation, in which the locking elements have a form- and/or force-locking connection, and a secondary position without the connection. An adapter plate is rotates relative to the rotary element and the housing. An unlocking element cooperates with the adapter plate in an actuator region when the second locking element is transferred into the secondary position. The second locking element is shifted by an unlocking height in the unlocking region, and by a lifting height in the actuator region. The actuator region is arranged with the lifting height smaller than the unlocking height.

Latching System for a Vehicle Seat

A seat latching system for use in moving a movable seat portion between a first position and a second position. The seat latching system includes a first fastener that is attached to a first location and a second fastener that is attached to a second location. An elongated resilient strap extends from a first end to a second end and has a first coupling at the first end and a second coupling at the second end. The first coupling is attached to the first fastener and the second coupling is attached to the second fastener. The elongated resilient strap allows the movable seat portion to move between the first position and the second position while the strap is under tension.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes a lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that locks a seat cushion at a neutral position, and an immediate lock mechanism that locks the seat cushion immediately at a current position when locking is required. A steering sensor senses a steering angle and a steering angular velocity. The immediate lock mechanism performs the locking when the steering angle is large, whereas the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism performs the locking when the steering velocity is high. When the steering wheel is at the neutral position, the locking by the immediate lock mechanism is released and the locking is switched over to the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that is in a lock ready state.
