LOCK FOR PIVOTING MEMBER IN VEHICLE WITH PUSH BUTTON RELEASE

A lock for a pivoting member in a vehicle comprising: a button having a depressed position and an undepressed position; a cam abutting the button having a rotated position and an un-rotated position; and a rod operably connected to the cam having an extended position and a retracted position; wherein, when the button is in the depressed position, the cam is in the rotated position, and the rod is in the retracted position. The pivoting member can be an armrest or a seatback, among other things. The rod includes a first grooved section. The cam includes a first finger adjacent to the first grooved section. As the cam transitions from the un-rotated position to the rotated position, the first finger of the cam interacts with the first grooved section of the rod to cause the rod to transition from the extended position to the retracted position.

SAFETY SEAT HAVING A SPIN LOCK

A safety seat that includes a first base, a second base positioned on the first base and rotatable relative to the first base about an axis, a seat positioned on the second base and rotatable relative to the first base about the axis, and a lock disposed on the second base. The lock has a movable lock component configured to lock the first base with the second base. The safety seat further includes an actuator configured to disengage the movable lock component from the first base and permit the second base to rotate relative to the first base, and a link comprising a first end and a second end, the link extending between the movable lock component and the actuator. The first end contacts the movable lock component and the second end contacts the actuator.

The embodiments described and claimed herein are improved vehicle access systems. In particular, one embodiment includes three compact, motorized mechanisms for pivoting a passenger seat toward a door opening, extending the passenger seat outside the door opening, lowering the passenger seat, and tilting the passenger seat to help the passenger stand. The first mechanism concurrently pivots the passenger seat and moves it sideways during the pivoting operation so that it is aligned with the door opening. The second mechanism extends the passenger seat outside the door opening. The third mechanism lowers the seat.

LATCHES AND LATCH SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLE SEATS AND VEHICLE SEATS

A latch for a vehicle seat includes a latch body and a bracket having a plate defining a pivot point and a slot is provided. The latch body is pivotably coupled to the bracket at the pivot point and movably coupled to the bracket at the slot such that the latch body pivots about the pivot point between a latched position and a variation absorbing position. The latch body has a supporting shaft slidably supported by the plate at the slot. A biasing assembly is disposed between the pivot point and the supporting shaft and biasing the latch body toward the latched position.

Fitting with a pivoting-forwards mechanism and easy-entry latch, and vehicle seat with such a fitting

A fitting (2) with a pivoting-forwards mechanism, positioning a backrest (1.1) of a vehicle seat (1) into a forward position, a comfort lock, positioning the backrest into a comfort region seat position (A to C), and an expanded comfort function, positioning the backrest beyond the front position into a loading platform position (E). The fitting includes a fitting part (2.1, 2.2) and a driver (4). A pivoting range of the backrest is limited in the forward position by an easy-entry latch (5) engaging in the fitting part (2.1). The easy-entry latch, when the backrest is adjusted between the seat positions in the comfort region, bears against a stop (7) mounted on the backrest and, in the forward position, is prevented by the stop from pivoting further forwards, and, when the backrest is set upright from the forward position into one of the seat positions, pivots controlled by the stop.

Vehicle Headrest Sliding Device

The present invention relates to a device for sliding a headrest towards the front direction, more particularly, to a headrest sliding device wherein a ratchet and a release lever are installed in a side link which is a movable part, and the protrusion of the ratchet is being pushed up to release the locking so that the headrest is returned to its original position.

Locking device for foldable structure

Disclosed is a locking device for a foldable structure, and the locking device includes: a foldable body, a support bracket to support a rotation shaft of the foldable body, a locking pin elastically supported in a direction from the foldable body toward the support bracket, a locking groove provided in the support bracket such that the locking pin is seated therein to inhibit a rotation of the foldable body with respect to the support bracket, and an unlocking tool provided in the foldable body to provide a linear displacement of the locking pin while overcoming an elastically-biased force of the locking pin such that the locking pin is separated from the locking groove.

SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTER

A vehicle seat depth adjuster (1) includes a base plate (2) connectable to a seat structure (17); a detent unit (8); a carrier plate (3) moveably arranged above the base plate; a locking unit (4) detachably engaging the detent unit; and a drive unit (11) moving the carrier plate. The carrier plate is fixed in relation to the base plate in an engaged position of the locking unit and is moveable, between a retracted position and an extended position in a released position of the locking unit by the drive unit. The detent unit is arranged on the upper side (2.5) of the base plate, which faces the carrier plate, and includes receiving elements (8.1) staggered in the direction (L) of movement. The locking unit includes an unlocking lever (5) with at least one locking tooth (5.1) that engages in one of the detent receiving elements in the engaged position.

TRACK ADJUSTER
