VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM
A seating system for a vehicle includes a seat back and a seat bottom selectively rotatable between a design position and a stowed position. A latch arrangement has a first cam with first and second surfaces, a support structure with first and second surfaces, and a second cam. The latch arrangement has a first locking position wherein the first surface of the first cam engages the first surface of the support structure so that movement of the seat bottom from the design position to the stowed position is inhibited. The latch arrangement also has a second locking position wherein the second cam engages a portion of the support structure so that movement of the seat bottom from the stowed position to the design position is inhibited.
Vehicle seat having locking element and receiving element
A locking block is fixed with respect to a seat cushion. A locking pin which can advance and retract relative to the locking block is provided on a main frame side. A V groove shape receptacle is formed on the locking block. When the locking pin is advanced into the receptacle portion, the locking pin is guided by a receiving inclined surface of the receptacle portion forming the V-shape groove, and advances to a bottom of the receptacle portion. With this process, the locking block moves in a rotational direction B, and when the locking pin engages the bottom, the seat cushion is fixed.
VEHICLE ACCESS SYSTEM
The embodiments described and claimed herein are improved vehicle access systems. In particular, one embodiment includes three compact, motorized mechanisms for pivoting a passenger seat toward a door opening, extending the passenger seat outside the door opening, lowering the passenger seat, and tilting the passenger seat to help the passenger stand. The first mechanism concurrently pivots the passenger seat and moves it sideways during the pivoting operation so that it is aligned with the door opening. The second mechanism extends the passenger seat outside the door opening. The third mechanism lowers the seat.
Adjustable connecting bar for a child restraint system
The present disclosure relates to an adjustable connecting bar for releasable fastening of a child restraint system to a vehicle seat having mounted anchoring members. The adjustable connecting bar (1) comprises a first and a second elongated bar member (2, 3) telescopically interconnected and arranged for relative displacement along a longitudinal axis (L). The first elongated bar member (2) is provided with a coupling device (4) at an end thereof and the coupling device (4) is transformable from a locked configuration to a release configuration in a first operation step by means of a manually operable actuator (8) which is operatively connected via a maneuvering system (9) to the coupling device. The connecting bar (1) further comprises a latch system (10, 11) housed within the connecting bar (1) for selectively preventing extension and retraction of the connecting bar (1). The latch system comprises a first latch (10) arranged to prevent retraction of the connecting bar (1) when the connecting bar (1) is in an extended end position and the coupling device (4) is in the release configuration. The second latch (11) is arranged to be transferrable from an active state preventing extension of the connecting bar to an inactive state allowing both extension and retraction of the connecting bar (1). The second latch (11) is biased to the active state and transferrable from the active state to the inactive state in a second operation step by means of the manually operable actuator (8). The second operation step is separate from the first operation step and only allowed when the coupling device (4) is in the release configuration. The second latch (11) is arranged to return to the active state upon release of the manually operable actuator (8).
Sliding device for vehicle
A sliding device configured for a vehicle, includes a magnetic module configured to slide on a floor of the vehicle and be fixed to the floor by a magnetic force or unfixed from the floor depending on a change in magnetic circuit due to a rotation of a first magnetic body provided in the magnetic module; a plurality of catching portions formed on the floor, spaced from one another, and provided along a movement route of the magnetic module, and fastening portions provided on the magnetic module and configured to be pressed downward by a first elastic body, the fastening portions being configured to mechanically fasten the magnetic module to the floor by being lowered and caught by the catching portions when the fastening portions are matched with the catching portions while the magnetic module moves.
Latching system for a vehicle seat
A seat latching system for use in moving a movable seat portion between a first position and a second position. The seat latching system includes a first fastener that is attached to a first location and a second fastener that is attached to a second location. An elongated resilient strap extends from a first end to a second end and has a first coupling at the first end and a second coupling at the second end. The first coupling is attached to the first fastener and the second coupling is attached to the second fastener. The elongated resilient strap allows the movable seat portion to move between the first position and the second position while the strap is under tension.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly having a seat bottom, a seat back, a seat track, and a rear mounting unit. The seat bottom may be pivotally mounted to the seat back. The seat back may be pivotally mounted to the rear mounting unit. The rear mounting unit may be moveably disposed on the seat track.
VEHICLE SEAT
An assembly includes a seat bottom including a panel pivotable from a first position to a second position. The assembly includes a track supported by the seat bottom. The assembly includes a spring in the track and urging the panel toward the second position. The assembly includes a pyrotechnic actuator maintaining the spring in compression and actuatable to release the spring.
Recliner mechanism having welded encapsulating ring
The recliner mechanism includes a housing plate, a recliner heart and an encapsulating ring. The recliner heart is mounted to the housing plate and operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seatback and a seat bottom and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The encapsulating ring is attached to the housing plate.
STRIKER
A striker applied to a vehicle seat includes an engagement pin having a bar shape and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket includes: a covering portion that covers a part of a lateral surface of the engagement pin from outside and to which one end portion of the engagement pin along a longitudinal axis of the engagement pin is fixed; and a mounting portion that is mounted to a vehicle seat or a vehicle. When directions perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the engagement pin are regarded as first directions and directions approximately corresponding to seat front-rear directions are regarded as second directions in a state where the mounting portion is mounted, the covering portion is provided with a first load receiving portion that is approximately perpendicular to the first directions and a second load receiving portion that is approximately perpendicular to the second directions.
