SEAT CONTROL APPARATUS
A seat control apparatus controls a seat of a vehicle in which an occupant of the vehicle sits. The seat control apparatus includes an occupant weight recognition unit; an occupant sitting state recognition unit configured to recognize an occupant sitting state including at least either of a grip force of the occupant and a load applied to the occupant; a lateral acceleration estimation unit configured to estimate a subsequent lateral acceleration of the vehicle; and a seat controller configured to control the seat. The seat has an occupant support adjustment portion including at least one of a first adjustment portion, a second adjustment portion, and a third adjustment portion. The seat controller calculates an adjustment amount of the occupant support adjustment portion and controls the occupant support adjustment portion in response to the calculated adjustment amount.
Sitting, reclining and/or leaning device for a vehicle and vehicle with the sitting, reclining and/or leaning device
A sitting, reclining and/or leaning device is provided for arrangement in a vehicle. The device includes a seat frame and several wing elements. The wing elements are arranged on the seat frame in a shared plane when in a basic position. The wing elements may be swiveled out of the basic position into at least one swivel position.
Actuator for a Pneumatic Valve, Valve Element, Valve Assembly and Pump
An actuator for a valve element includes one base plate; one actuating element having a first end section, a second end section, and a sealing element on the first end section; one connecting element; and one SMA element having a U-shape including two parts substantially parallel to one another, a first end, a second end, and a middle section between the two parts. The actuating element is at least partially arranged on and connected to the base plate via the second end section. The connecting element is conductively connected to two points of the SMA element. A middle section of the SMA element is connected to the first end section of the actuating element so that a shortening of the SMA element causes a stroke of the sealing element.
ADJUSTING DEVICE OF A LUMBAR SUPPORT OR OF A SIDE-BOLSTER ADJUSTER HAVING A SPINDLE DRIVE FOR A SEAT ELEMENT OF A VEHICLE SEAT
It is provided an adjusting device of a lumbar support or a side-bolster adjuster for changing the contour or position of a seat element of a vehicle seat supporting a body part of a seat user, with at least one driving device comprising a spindle drive and at least one adjustable support element for changing the contour or position of the seat element, wherein the spindle drive comprises a spindle extending along a spindle axis, which on a fastening part of the lumbar support or the side-bolster adjuster mounted in the vehicle seat is floatingly mounted at a spindle end via a spindle holder such that at this spindle end the spindle is displaceable along at least one spatial direction extending transversely to the spindle axis.
System and method for controlling rotating type seat of self-driving vehicle
A system and a method are provided for controlling a rotating type seat of a self-driving vehicle. In particular, seat position and bolster volume are adjusted based on a pressure rate in response to a vehicle turning when seat of the self-driving vehicle is rotationally adjusted in a desired direction. Accordingly, body displacement due to a centrifugal force and inertia is supported and a stable seating feeling is provided to the passenger.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat comprising: a seat cushion; a seat back; an actuator capable of changing an orientation of the seat back laterally by moving a pressure-receiving member; and a controller configured to exercise control over the actuator. The controller includes a posture control unit configured to execute, during turning of a vehicle, a seat posture control under which the actuator is caused to move the pressure-receiving member from an initial position to an advanced position to cause the seat back to orient toward a turning direction. The posture control unit is configured to activate, when an execution time of the seat posture control has become equal to or greater than an execution time threshold value, a control under which the actuator is caused to move the pressure-receiving member from the advanced position to an intermediate position to reversely change the orientation of the seat back.
Utility vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a chassis, a prime mover supported by the chassis, an operator cab supported by the chassis, a control system including a controller, an operator support positioned within the operator cab and having a seat portion and a backrest portion and an actuator positioned within at least one of the seat portion and the backrest portion. The actuator is in communication with the controller and configured to move in a first pattern in response to a first notification signal from the controller in order to relay information to the operator.
Seat side bolster apparatus and control method thereof
Proposed are a seat side bolster apparatus and a control method thereof. The seat side bolster apparatus of the disclosure includes a driving unit, which is provided under a foam pad of a seat cushion, is moved upwards and downwards by operation of an actuator, and presses the foam pad upwards when moving upwards, and a covering bracket, which is connected to the driving unit so as to be moved upwards and downwards together with the driving unit and to which an end of a covering enveloping the foam pad of the seat cushion is fixed.
A VEHICLE SEAT HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE SEATBACK AND/OR AN ADJUSTABLE CUSHION
A vehicle seat including a panel and an actuating mechanism. The panel includes an elastomeric material. The actuating mechanism is connected to the panel. The actuating mechanism is configured to alter a contour of a seating surface of the panel.
Method and apparatus for seat and bolster adjustment
A method and apparatus of facilitating ingress or egress of a seat having bolsters includes detecting a potential ingress or egress of an occupant to the seat. Upon detection a configuration of the seat is altered from a first position to a second position, wherein a substantially flat surface is formed by a top of a seat portion of the seat and an associated bolster attached to the seat portion.
