Device for adjusting softness of seat, device for adjusting comfort of seat, and vehicle seat
Provide are a device for adjusting softness of a vehicle seat, a device for adjusting comfort of a seat, and a vehicle seat. The device for adjusting softness of a vehicle seat has at least one soft inflatable bag that can be integrated in the seat. The soft inflatable bag is connected with at least one air path. The soft inflatable bag is filled with a flexible filler. Gas is charged into or discharged from the soft inflatable bag through the air path to adjust the softness of the surface of the seat. The soft inflatable bag is provided therein with a height limiting structure configured to limit the partial expansion height of the soft inflatable bag when inflated.
Vehicle seat backrest
A backrest of a vehicle seat includes an armature and an upholstery fixed to the armature. The upholstery has a slit for accommodating a headrest support rod by relative movement of the upholstery with respect to the armature in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The backrest further includes first and second trim elements. Each trim element forms a notch. The notches of the first and second trim elements define a passage for a headrest support rod. The second trim element partially covers the slit in the upholstery. The first and/or the second trim elements is/are in contact with the upholstery.
Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat including a pelvis support member of which a state or the like is adjusted. The conveyance seat includes the pelvis support member configured to support a portion of an occupant's body where a pelvis is positioned and lumbar supports configured to move the pelvis support member. The pelvis support member includes a seat back side support portion positioned behind a back portion of the occupant, a seat cushion side support portion positioned below buttocks of the occupant, and a connection portion that connects the seat back side support portion and the seat cushion side support portion. The lumbar supports are configured to move the pelvis support member so that a position of at least one of the seat back side support portion, the seat cushion side support portion, and the connection portion is changed with respect to the portion where the pelvis is positioned.
FUNCTIONAL APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND CORRESPONDINGLY EQUIPPED SEAT SYSTEM
A functional apparatus for a vehicle seat having at least one expansion member having at least one cavity, the volume of which can be changed, at least in part, by a fluid which can flow into and out of said cavity, a fluid reservoir comprising at least one cavity being provided, which cavity is connected in a fluid-conducting manner to the cavity of the expansion member. The fluid reservoir cooperates with an actuator assembly by means of which the cavity of the fluid reservoir can be actively compressed, with at least partial displacement of the fluid contained therein into the cavity of the expansion member.
Conveyance seat
In a vehicle seat that can switch the state of a seat main body which includes a seat back and a seat cushion between a seatable state in which the seat back is erected to a car body floor to allow a seated occupant on the seat cushion and a storage state in which the seat back tilts down to the car body floor and the seat cushion is disposed between the seat back and the car body floor, the vehicle seat is provided with a guide part that contacts the lower portion of the seat cushion and supports the seat cushion when the seat state is in the seatable state, that slidably contacts a part of the seat main body in the transition of the state to the storage state, and that thus guides the movement of the seat back and the seat cushion.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly may include a seat, a first bladder assembly connected to the seat, a second bladder assembly connected to the seat, and/or an electrical control unit (ECU) configured to independently control the first bladder assembly and the second bladder assembly. The ECU may be configured to maintain a level of inflation of the first bladder assembly to provide a hugging effect to a user of the seat while inflating and deflating the second bladder assembly to guide breathing of said user.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly may include a seat including a seat base and a seat back, a sensor, a vent unit disposed at least partially within the seat back, and/or an electronic control unit (ECU) connected with the sensor and the vent unit. The ECU may be configured to determine, via the sensor, if a user of the seat exhibits symptoms of fatigue. The ECU may be configured to operate the vent unit in a first mode and a second mode. When the vent unit is in the first mode, the vent unit may provide cool air to said user of the seat. When the vent unit is in the second mode, the vent unit may provide warmer and/or less air to said user of the seat. The ECU may automatically switch the vent unit between first and second modes to reduce symptoms of fatigue.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly may include a seat, a seat actuator, a sensor assembly, and an electrical control unit (ECU). The seat actuator may be configured to adjust the seat. The sensor assembly may be connected to the seat and may be configured to detect a pressure applied to the seat. The ECU may be operatively connected to the seat actuator and the sensor assembly. The ECU may be configured to reduce soft tissue stress in soft tissue of a user via adjusting the seat with the seat actuator.
VEHICLE SEATING
A vehicle seat including: a seat back; a seat pan; and one or more side support elements is disclosed. Each side support element is moveable with respect to the seat back between: a stowed configuration, in which the side support element is stowed flush with, or is stowed within or behind the seat back; and a deployed configuration, in which the side support element extends outwardly from the seat back, generally in the same direction that the seat back faces, so as to offer support to the side of a vehicle user sitting in the vehicle seat. A row of two or more such vehicles seats is also disclosed, in which all of the seats of the row face in the same direction, and adjacent seats within the row are connected to each other.
