A cup holder for holding a beverage container includes a case having a first floor member in a receiving chamber, and a sidewall; a second floor member with a base end side rotatably supported by the sidewall inside the case, and a free end rotatable between a first position where the free end is positioned on a lateral side of a rotary shaft, and a second position where the free end is positioned below the rotary shaft; and an urging device urging the second floor member toward the first position. The second floor member rotates toward the second position when the second floor member receives a load larger than a predetermined load from above at the first position, and holds the beverage container together with the first floor member at a third position where the second floor member is rotated to a second position side more than the first position.

A cup holder for a vehicle may include a holder body for storing a cup and having a thermoelectric element to thereby cool and heat the cup stored therein, a supporting part having a front end protruded to an inner side surface of the holder body and a rear end supported by an elastic part to thereby support a side surface of the cup when the cup is stored and having a light source capable of expressing a plurality of colors to thereby irradiate light toward the cup, a temperature sensor provided on the holder body to thereby measure a temperature thereof, and a controlling part changing a color of the light source of the supporting part in response to the measured temperature.

A juvenile seat includes a seat bottom and a cupholder support coupled to the seat bottom. The juvenile seat further includes a cupholder coupled removably to the cupholder support. The cupholder includes a cupholder mount coupled to the cupholder support to retain the cupholder to the cupholder support and a cupholder base at least partially defining an interior container-receiving space.

A device for holding a container is disclosed. The device includes a base configured to support the container, a retaining mechanism configured to retain the container relative to the base, and an actuator mechanism coupled to the retaining mechanism. The retaining mechanism includes a longitudinal axis and an iris moveable between an insertion position and a retaining position. A central opening formed by the iris in the insertion position has an insertion diameter greater than a retaining diameter of the central opening formed by the iris in the retaining position. The iris includes a plurality of arms arranged in a first level and a second level. User rotation of the actuator mechanism in a first direction causes the arms of the iris to move to the retaining position, and user rotation of the actuator mechanism in a second direction opposite the first direction causes the arms of the iris to move away from the retaining position towards the insertion position.

A cup holder assembly includes a liner configured to support a beverage container and a resilient element with a light transmissive element formed within the liner and configured to receive light from a light source to illuminate an inner surface of the liner.

A self-adjusting cup holder assembly is provided. That cup holder assembly includes a housing having an open cavity and a flexible well held in that cavity. The flexible well is displaceable between a rest position and cup holding position whereby the cup is squeezed by the flexible well and positively maintained in the well by a positive gripping force.

Storage compartment for a vehicle comprising: a receptacle having an interior volume; a movable partition member that can be moved in a sliding direction and partitions said interior volume, and; a locking device for locking the partition member in the sliding direction, comprising a first locking member provided on the receptacle and suitable for engaging with a second locking member provided on the partition member; the partition member being movable in an unlocking direction perpendicular to the sliding direction between a locked position in which the first and second locking members engage and a sliding position in which the first and second locking members are disengaged from each other, and the compartment comprising an elastic member biasing the partition member towards the locked position.

The present invention relates to a holder configured to hold vessels, including liquid drinking vessels such as cans and bottles, in a substantially upright configuration whilst being attached to a user or any supporting object to enable the user to free their hand(s) and engage in other activities. The holder is configured to securely accommodate vessels of a plurality of different shapes and sizes and to prevent spillage of the contents of the vessel.

A reconfigurable storage bin for a vehicle includes a storage bin portion including a base wall, a plurality of side walls including a first end wall, a second end wall opposite the first end wall, a first lateral side wall, and a second lateral side wall. The base wall and the plurality of side walls defining a storage zone. A rail member has a first end arranged at the first end wall, a second end arranged at the second end wall, and an intermediate portion extending between the first end and the second end. The intermediate portion extending at a non-zero angle relative to the first end wall, the second end wall, the first lateral side wall, and the second lateral side wall. A retaining device is mounted to the rail member. The retaining device is shiftable between the first end and the second end.

An apparatus for securing one or more items of stemware includes a base plate, one or more posts, a retainer, and one or more feet. The feet and base plate cooperatively secure a base portion of the item of stemware, and the retainer includes arms defining a stem receiving space that secures a stem of the item of stemware. The feet are coupled to the arms. The arms are flexible so as to accommodate different sizes of stems and bases in stemware with a single rack.
