Mounting Apparatus for Portable Electronic Devices
Apparatuses for associating a portable electronic device with a cup holder are provided. The apparatuses may be formed from wire and/or make use of a leaf spring design and retain association with the portable electronic device through clamping and retain association with a cup holder through the use of a resiliently deformable element that can be deformed to a size smaller than the cup holder and when released, can push up against the walls of the cup holder with sufficient force to retain association therewith. In some embodiments, when the apparatus is used in a cup holder, the cup holder remains available to receive cups or other objects.
Cup holder assemblies having light emitting assemblies for console assemblies of vehicles
A cup holder assembly for a console assembly of a vehicle includes a cover, a housing, a light source, a support frame, and a light emitting assembly. The cover includes an exterior surface, an opposite interior surface, and an opening extending between the exterior surface and the interior surface. The housing includes an open ended receptacle. The housing is connected to the interior surface of the cover such that the opening permits access to the open ended receptacle. The support frame is connected to at least one of the cover and the housing. The light emitting assembly is positioned between the interior surface of the cover and the support frame. The light emitting assembly is oriented to emit light outwardly away from the exterior surface of the cover.
Item holder having a self-adjusting air bladder system
An item holder includes a receiving well with an upper opening. First and second air bladders are disposed in the receiving well. Upper portions of outer casings of the air bladders are substantially flush with the upper opening of the receiving well when the air bladders are in an inflated condition. Also, the abutment portions abut one another along an abutment seam when the air bladders are in an inflated condition. A sensor may be sued to detect the receiving of an item in the receiving well. Valves assemblies are opened as the sensors detect an item being received in the receiving well. The item compresses a filler material disposed within the air bladders as the item is received in the receiving well. When the item is removed from the receiving well, the filler material expands to inflate the air bladders to the at-rest position.
CUP HOLDER FOR A VEHICLE
A cup holder may include a cup-shaped, substantially cylindrical or conical receiving portion having an open upper surface and a closed lower surface when disposed in the vehicle, the cup-shaped receiving portion being configured to receive a beverage container through the open upper face, and an elastic insert being attached to the cup-shaped receiving portion, the elastic insert being configured to hold respective beverage containers having a plurality of shapes and sizes.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER HOLDING ASSEMBLY
A beverage container holder that includes a first member including a floor, sidewall, and first opening, the floor connected and spaced apart from the first opening by the first member sidewall to define a receptacle to receive the beverage container therein; a second member, where a portion of the second member is inserted into the first opening of the first member to permit rotation of the second member about a center axis; a plurality of elastic bands, each elastic band of the plurality of elastic bands being connected to the first member at one end and the second member at the opposite end such that tension is established within each elastic band of the plurality of elastic bands; and the plurality of nylon bands collaborate to operatively form into a configuration which constricts an area centrally located in the receptacle of the first member.
Beverage holder
A beverage holder includes a frame, an insert, and a cover. The frame includes a sidewall having an upper end and a lower end, and a bottom wall extending across the lower end. The upper end defines a plurality of protrusions. The sidewall and the bottom wall cooperatively define a chamber. The insert includes a peripheral rim defining a plurality of apertures that receive the plurality of protrusions and a flexible collar extending from the peripheral rim and at least partially into the chamber. The flexible collar defines an opening leading to the chamber. The cover includes a plurality of interfaces that engage with the plurality of protrusions to couple the cover to the upper end of the sidewall and to secure the insert between the frame and the cover. The cover defines an aperture that aligns with the chamber and the opening.
Cup holder and method of manufacturing the same
A cup holder may include a holder body having a holding groove opened at an upper portion thereof, and provided such that a container is inserted into the holding groove, a guide integrally or monolithically formed in the holder body with an elastic adjustment body interposed therebetween, so as to protrude inward from the holding groove, the guide tightly supporting a side of the container in a state in which the guide protrudes inward from the holding groove, and the elastic adjustment body integrally or monolithically formed in the guide and the holder body so as to provide an elastic restoring force in order for the guide to elastically protrude.
Child restraint with cupholder
According to the present disclosure, a child restraint includes a juvenile seat and a child-restraint harness coupled to the juvenile seat. The juvenile seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back extending upwardly from the seat bottom. The juvenile seat further includes a cupholder coupled to the seat bottom.
Item holder having a self-adjusting air bladder system
An item holder includes a receiving well with a sidewall and an upper opening. One or more air bladders are disposed within the receiving well and are operable between inflated and deflated conditions within the receiving well. The air bladders substantially fill the upper opening when the air bladders are in the inflated condition to provide a filled receiving well appearance. A sensor is configured to sense an item being received in or removed from the receiving well. The air bladders deflate from the inflated condition to the deflated condition as an item is received in the receiving well. The air bladders may include a filler material that is predisposed to an expanded condition which correlates to the air bladders being in the inflated condition to substantially fill the upper opening of the receiving well.
Cup holder and manufacturing method thereof
A cup holder for a vehicle may include a holder body having an upper surface opened and having a receiving space formed therein, a guide movable to inside the holder body, and an elastic member provided on at least a portion of the guide and an external circumferential surface of the holder body. The elastic member is integrally formed with the holder body by injection molding.
