SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PAVING A SURFACE AND REMOTELY CONTROLLING THE FLOW OF PAVING MATERIAL FROM A DUMP TRUCK INTO A HOPPER OF A PAVER
A method for paving wherein the paving operator or a person in the vicinity of the paver remotely controls the flow of paving material from a dump truck into the hopper of the paver.
TRACKED VEHICLE WITH ROTATING UPPER STRUCTURE AND PROCESSES THEREFOR
A tracked vehicle comprising: a body comprising a lower structure and an upper structure rotatable relative to the lower structure about an axis; an angle sensor for detecting rotation of the upper structure relative to the lower structure; first and second track assemblies mounted, respectively, on opposite lateral sides of the body; a prime mover; an electronic control unit (ECU); and a transmission for controllably transferring power from the prime mover to the track assemblies based on an output of the ECU. The ECU is configured for responding to the angle sensor having detected a relative angular displacement in excess of a threshold angular displacement by: causing a signal to be emitted via an output interface to indicate that a directionality switchover is available to be requested; and, in response to detecting a directionality switchover request, causing the transmission to implement a directionality switchover for the tracked vehicle.
INSTALLATION TRAILER FOR COILED FLEXIBLE PIPE AND METHOD OF UTILIZING SAME
A system includes a trailer frame, a lifting mechanism coupled to the trailer frame, wherein the lifting mechanism is configured to raise or lower a coil of pipe or a reel of pipe, a braking mechanism configured to apply pressure to the pipe while the pipe is being deployed by the system, and a hydraulic power unit configured to hydraulically power the system.
Control system for dump truck, dump truck, and control method for dump truck
A control system for a dump truck includes a signal reception unit that receives a rising command signal to cause the dump truck including a vessel and a hydraulic cylinder configured to raise and lower the vessel to start a rising action of the vessel, and a vessel control unit that varies an extension speed of the hydraulic cylinder nonlinearly with respect to elapsed time when the signal reception unit receives the rising command signal.
Dump Truck
Provided is a dump truck capable of switching a destination of supply of hydraulic oil from a hoist cylinder to a fan motor at an appropriate time. A dump truck comprising: a hydraulic pump for discharging a hydraulic oil by a driving force of the engine; a hoist cylinder for raising and lowering a vessel by the hydraulic oil supplied from the hydraulic pump; a fan motor for driving a fan that supplies a radiator with cooling air by the hydraulic oil supplied from the hydraulic pump; a selector valve capable of being switched between a first position for supplying the hoist cylinder with the hydraulic oil discharged from the hydraulic pump and a second position for supplying the fan motor with the hydraulic oil; and a controller configured to, in a case where the selector valve is in the first position, determine whether an inflow pressure of the hydraulic oil flowing into the selector valve is less than a threshold value, and in a case of determining that the inflow pressure is less than the threshold value, switch the selector valve from the first position to the second position.
HYDRAULIC CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
A hydraulic cylinder assembly comprising: a single-acting hydraulic cylinder; an oil tank; a fluid line fluidically connecting the oil tank with the hydraulic cylinder; and a motor unit comprising a pump disposed in the fluid line and comprising a motor configured to operate the pump to pump fluid from the oil tank to the hydraulic cylinder to extend the hydraulic cylinder, and to permit flow of fluid from the hydraulic cylinder to the oil tank through the pump during retraction of the hydraulic cylinder, a pressure sensor configured to output a pressure signal indicative of pressure of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic cylinder; and a controller configured to control the motor unit based on pressure signals received from the pressure sensor. The hydraulic cylinder assembly is configured so that oil leaving the hydraulic cylinder, during retraction of the hydraulic cylinder, passes through the pump to the oil tank.
Ultra-lightweight, portable, and extremely low pressure dump system for handling dry or wet materials
A dump system (e.g., for setting in a vehicle's flatbed or trailer) includes a base, a container (for containing material) configured to pivot relative to the base, an inflate membrane coupled to the base and to the container, and a U-frame that extends around the inflate membrane and is configured to pivot relative to the base. The U-frame is configured to restrain outward expansion of the inflate membrane as the inflate membrane expands pushing on the container and causing the container to pivot upward. Some implementations include, in addition to or instead of the U-frame, a wing frame panel configured to collect and contain folds that form from material of the inflate membrane as the inflate membrane deflates and collapses (or when the inflate membrane is in a collapsed or deflated state).
Hoist device for dump truck
One 3-position selector valve is used as a main control valve that controls hoist cylinders. A control valve is provided for supplying hydraulic oil from a low-pressure hydraulic pressure source to rod chambers of the hoist cylinders upon lowering a vessel. Provided between the rod chambers of the hoist cylinders and an oil tank is a check valve that enables to supply hydraulic oil from the oil tank to the rod chambers upon a vessel FLOAT operation. When an operation command from a control device is a vessel-lowering command, a controller switches the main control valve to a FLOAT position, and also switches the vessel LOWER operation control valve and supplies hydraulic oil of a low pressure from the low-pressure hydraulic pressure source to the rod chambers of the hoist cylinders.
Low CG dump trailer with hydraulically latched cover
An elongated trailer has a front neck for connection to the fifth wheel apparatus associated with a suitable tractor. The bed has a lowered, intermediate load portion disposed approximately in the trailer middle. A hydraulic ram raises or lowers the tiltable trailer which is suitably journalled for rotation at its mounting point. A pivoted cover atop the cargo bed can be shifted between open cargo-loading positions and closed cargo-hauling positions by hydraulic cylinders when unlocked. Slidable, hydraulically actuated locking tracks on each side of the top parallel with the cover support latches that can be shifted into or out of engagement with rigid tangs projecting from sides of the cover to forcibly clamp the cover shut. Hydraulic controls accessible from the ground control the apparatus.
TROLLEY ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A TRAVELING CONTROL SYSTEM
A tire trolley assembly comprises a frame having a pair of supports including a first and a second support extending between a first and a second end. A connector is disposed at the first and the second end, attached to the support, extending between a primary end adjacent to the frame and a secondary end spaced from the frame. A plurality of wheels includes a first and a second wheel attached to the connector. A plurality of mounting members, including a first mounting member rotatably attached to the first wheel and coupled to the connector and a second mounting member rotatably attached to the second wheel and coupled to the connector. A traveling control system controls and steers the wheels of the tire trolley assembly.
