A transportation vehicle includes: a cooling fan that is driven by a hydraulic motor; a heat exchanger that is disposed in a front portion of a vehicle body; a fan control valve that controls a flow of a hydraulic operating fluid supplied to the hydraulic motor; a cylinder control valve that controls a flow of the hydraulic operating fluid supplied to a hydraulic cylinder; and a controller. The fan control valve and the cylinder control valve are connected in tandem to a center bypass line. The fan control valve has a neutral position that makes a first hydraulic pump and the cylinder control valve communicate with each other and makes a suction port and a delivery port of the hydraulic motor and a hydraulic operating fluid tank communicate with each other, and a rotation position that makes the first hydraulic pump and the suction port of the hydraulic motor communicate with each other and makes the delivery port of the hydraulic motor and the hydraulic operating fluid tank communicate with each other.

Hydraulic cylinder assembly for dump trailers
12466301 · 2025-11-11 · ·

A dump trailer and a hydraulic cylinder assembly for the dump trailer are described herein. The cylinder assembly includes a first barrel, a second barrel rigidly coupled to the first barrel along a longitudinal axis of the cylinder assembly, and a piston assembly. The first barrel includes an inlet port for receiving vehicle hydraulic fluid and an outlet port for providing the vehicle hydraulic fluid to the vehicle. The second barrel includes an inlet port and an outlet port for providing dump trailer hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic lifting mechanism of the dump trailer. The piston assembly includes a first piston and a second piston coupled to the first piston by a shaft. The piston assembly is configured to provide the dump trailer hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic lifting mechanism to lift a box of the dump trailer when the cylinder assembly receives hydraulic fluid from the vehicle.

Systems and methods for a hydraulic system

A method for controlling an electric motor driving a hydraulic pump for a battery-powered electric mobile machine includes receiving one or more command signals for one or more hydraulically-driven systems. The method also includes determining a minimum pump speed for each of the one or more hydraulically-driven systems, and determining a highest minimum pump speed for the one or more hydraulically-driven systems. The method further includes converting the highest minimum pump speed to an electric motor command, and sending the electric motor command to the electric motor.

WORK MACHINE ACCESSORY MOTOR LOAD PROTECTION

A work machine includes a first hydraulic circuit, a second hydraulic circuit, a single electric motor, and a controller. The first hydraulic circuit includes a first pump and a first valve. The first pump is configured to drive a first group of hydraulic accessories. The second hydraulic circuit includes a second pump and a variable pressure valve. The second pump is configured to drive a second group of hydraulic accessories. The single electric motor is connected/configured to drive the first pump and the second pump. The controller configured to estimate a torque of the second pump, estimate a total torque of the motor as a sum of a current operating torque of the motor and the estimate of the torque of the second pump, and, on condition the total torque of the motor is greater than a threshold torque, lower an operating torque of at least one of the first pump or the second pump.

Hydraulic lift system for a semi-trailer

A hydraulic lift system for a semi-trailer is provided. The hydraulic lift system includes a single, vertically-mounted, double acting, telescopic hydraulic cylinder located at the front of the semi-trailer. One portion of the hydraulic cylinder can be attached to bearings that are bolted to a vertical support structure attached to the longitudinal beams of the semi-trailer. The rod end of the hydraulic cylinder can be attached to the kingpin plate and draft arms of the semi-trailer. The hydraulic cylinder can be extended to lift the longitudinal beams of the semi-trailer to a position for the dumping of the contents of a container on the semi-trailer or for loading or unloading a container from the semi-trailer.
