A process for execution by a processor of an electronic control unit (ECU), comprising: (a) detecting an operator command to align an upper structure of a tracked vehicle relative to a lower structure of the tracked vehicle; (b) in response to detection of the operator command, applying controlled rotation of the upper structure relative to the lower structure about an axis to align the upper structure relative to the lower structure at a predetermined relative angle; (c) in response to the upper structure having been aligned relative to the lower structure at the predetermined relative angle, signaling that alignment has been achieved; and (d) causing rotation of the upper structure to stop when alignment has been achieved and being non-responsive to further detection of the operator command during and for a predetermined period of time after said signaling. Also, a tracked vehicle comprising an ECU that executes the above process.

When the absolute value is not less than the imbalance determination value (θ2) (Yes in S4) and the roll angle (θR) is positive (the cargo bed (9) is rising to the right) (Yes in S8), an oil supply amount (VL) to a hoist cylinder (11) on the left side is increased, and an oil supply amount (VR) to a hoist cylinder (12) on the right side is decreased (S9). When the roll angle (θR) is negative (the cargo bed (9) is rising to the left) (No in S8), the oil supply amount (VL) on the left side is decreased, and the oil supply amount (VR) on the right side is increased (S10).

The controller includes: an operation signal acquisition unit configured to acquire the operation signal; and an instruction output unit configured to output, to the switching valve, a control instruction that restricts the drive of the hydraulic actuator with the engine driving, in response to the operation signal.

A control system for a dump truck or trailer having a telescoping hoist is disclosed. The control system includes an integrated electronic control unit which receives sensor information regarding at least a hydraulic pump, a power take-off, a first inclinometer and a second inclinometer and uses this information to send warning to a user display and to sends control information to at least a hydraulic fluid control valve and optionally other devices on the truck or trailer as well.

When the cradle is attached to the silo, the cradle controller pivots the cradle away from the raised position to the lowered position when the silo attached to the cradle is empty, and is inoperative to pivot the cradle away from the raised position toward the lowered position when the silo attached to the cradle contains greater than a threshold amount of the material.
