HOIST AND SUPPLEMENTAL SUPPORT SYSTEM
A support assembly comprises a bracket, a blocking member, and a spring. The blocking member is adapted to slidingly move within a through opening of a support member. The blocking member is adapted to be selectively moved from a supporting position to a non-supporting position. The spring is adapted to bias the blocking member towards the non-supporting position. In certain embodiments, the bracket is adapted to retain the blocking member at least partially within the through opening when the bracket is mounted to a hoist. In certain embodiments, the blocking member comprises a handle comprising a pin axially aligned within a compression spring and the bracket comprises a notch adapted to receive the handle.
System and method for determining carryback in surface haulage
A system for removing carryback material from the interior surface of a dump body. A controller is configured to determine a pose of the dump body, determine the current profile of the dump body, and determine the pose of the perception sensor. The controller is further configured to determine a difference between the current profile and the reference profile, determine whether the difference between the current profile and the reference profile exceeds the carryback threshold. Upon the difference between the current profile to the reference profile exceeding a carryback threshold, the dump body is designated for a clean out operation. The controller is further configured to generate movement command signals to perform a clean out operation on the dump body to remove an amount of material from the interior surface so that the difference between the current profile to the reference profile is less than the carryback threshold.
Automatic four bar linkage tailgate anchor point
A mechanically fastened outrigger arrangement provides an anchor point for an automatic four bar linkage tailgate. The mechanically fastened outrigger arrangement includes an outrigger arrangement support frame and an outrigger extending outward from the outrigger arrangement support frame to a distal end configured to support a tailgate actuation link. Outrigger braces also extend from the outrigger arrangement support frame to the distal end of the outrigger. A lower clamp is configured to secure the outrigger arrangement support frame to a lateral support of a truck, and a truck frame clamp is configured to secure the outrigger arrangement support frame to a truck frame.
Method and system for operating a tipper
A system for and method of operating a tipper comprising a tipper body pivotably movable with respect to a frame with a hydraulic cylinder disposed therebetween and actuatable to pivot the tipper body. A loading parameter relating to the load through the hydraulic cylinder is monitored during tipping. Based on at least the loading parameter, it is determined whether the hydraulic cylinder is at risk of buckling and, if it is determined that the hydraulic cylinder is at risk of buckling, an output is generated in response.
A METHOD FOR DETERMINING A STATUS OF A DUMP BODY ARRANGEMENT
The disclosure relates to a method for determining a status of an intermediate support of a dump body arrangement included in a working machine, the dump body arrangement including a support frame, a dump body for receiving a load and pivotally attached to the support frame at a rear pivot point, a hydraulic support for raising and lowering a front part of the dump body, wherein the intermediate support is arranged between the hydraulic support and the rear pivot point to support the dump body, wherein the method includes the steps of receiving a signal indicating that the hydraulic support changes between a load-free state and a loaded state relative the dump body.
Self-leveling single axle dump truck
A self-leveling single axle dump truck is provided, the truck comprising a frame, a dump body pivotably mounted on the frame, and a propulsion and self-leveling system comprising a single axle supporting the frame at least during motion of the self-leveling single axle dump truck, the single axle comprising at least a first and a second wheel and at least a first electric traction motor for driving the first wheel and a second electric traction motor for driving the second wheel.
Hook-lift hoist
Disclosed herein is a hoist apparatus having a base frame, an arm, a hydraulic lift cylinder, and a contact fulcrum attached to the base frame. The arm has a base segment rotatably coupled to the base frame at a first joint, a middle segment rotatably coupled to the base segment at a second joint, and a coupling segment extendably coupled to the middle segment at a second arm joint, the coupling segment comprising a hook at a distal end of the coupling segment. The hydraulic lift cylinder is rotatably coupled at a first end to the base frame and rotatably coupled at a second end to the middle segment. In certain embodiments, the middle segment is contactable with the contact fulcrum during operation of the arm. Various implementations provide for a hoist apparatus that is disposable on a vehicle.
Low Profile Dump Trailer
A dump trailer comprising an open bed having first and second side walls for partially forming a cargo area to receive construction material and a rear opening for emptying the construction material from the cargo area. A tailgate is provided for covering the rear opening during transport. First and second arms are pivotably coupled to the respective first and second side walls and joined to the tailgate for moving the tailgate between a first position for covering the rear opening and a second position free of the rear opening. Each of the first and second arms are in a position below a top surface of the respective side wall or flush with the top surface when the tailgate is in the first position for facilitating loading of the construction material into the cargo area of the open bed.
DROP BODY TRAILER FOR DIRECT DUMPING CONTAINER WASTE
A drop body trailer for transporting and emptying waste from a container. The trailer includes a trailer hitch section configured to engage with a tractor for towing of the trailer by the tractor. A main cargo section is connected to the trailer hitch section and supports the container. A wheel support section is provided that includes a wheel assemble and a flatbed that extends rearward to the rear of the trailer. A door clearance assembly is located on or between the main cargo section and the wheel support section. The door clearance assembly is configured to permit the rear container door to swing open during tipping of the trailer. The door clearance assembly may be a ramp or a hydraulic lift mechanism.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOVING MATERIAL
A method of moving material, using a first machine, from a first location to a second location, the second location being a dump bed of a second machine. The method includes determining, by a controller of the first machine, a type of a material to be moved, sending, by the controller of the first machine, the material type to a controller of the second machine, determining, by a controller of the second machine, a load distribution on the dump bed based on the material, determining, by the controller of the second machine, a first position of the dump bed at which a first dump should be unloaded from the first machine, and sending, by the controller of the second machine, an identification of the first position to the controller of the first machine.
