Lift stand for vehicles and trailers
An embodiment includes first and second brackets to respectively couple to a trailer bed; first and second arms to respectively couple to the first and second brackets; wherein (a) in a first orientation the first arm is to couple to the bed non-orthogonally with the bed raised a first distance and with the first arm not extending below wheels of the trailer; (b) in a second orientation the first arm is to couple to the bed orthogonally with the bed being raised a second distance which is less than the first distance and with the first arm extending to a level of the bottom of the wheels, and (c) in a third orientation the first arm is to couple to the bed orthogonally with the bed being raised a third distance, which is between 0 inches and the second distance, and with the first arm extending below the wheels.
Dump trailer
A dump trailer comprises a frame that is supported by at least one axle coupled to two wheels. The dump trailer includes a hitch operatively coupled to the frame and is configured to be attached to a tow vehicle. The dump trailer further includes a dump box pivotably coupled to the frame. The dump box has a front wall and is moveable between a lowered position and a raised position. The dump trailer also includes a storage unit supported by the frame and positioned adjacent to the front wall when the dump box is in the lowered position. The storage unit has at least one door and an interior configured to store items placed therein. The door is openable and the interior of the storage unit is accessible when the dump box is in either the lowered position or the raised position.
System for Controlled Tipping of a Dump Body in a Transport Vehicle
A system (1) for controlled tipping of a dump body (2) of a transport vehicle (3), wherein the vehicle (3) comprises a support frame (4), a counter frame (5) with a pair of parallel cross members (6, 7), a lift cylinder (8) for lifting the dump body (2) and a locking device (15) for selectively locking the dump body (2). The locking device (15) comprises support means (15A, 15B, 15C, 15D) for supporting the dump body (2) which are designed to be selectively locked and are placed at the ends of said cross members (6, 7). Each of the support means (15A, 15B, 15C, 15D) comprises a convex element (16) having a spherical head (17), a concave element (18) having a seat (19) for the spherical head (17), a locking pin (20) for selectively locking the concave element (18) and the convex element (16) to prevent separation thereof, and a double-acting actuator (21) for imparting a two-way motion to the pin (20). Each convex element (16) is secured to a bottom face (2′) of the dump body (2) and each concave element (18) is fixed to said counter frame (5) in alignment with a respective convex element (16). Each actuator (21) is housed in a recess (11, 12) of a respective cross member (6, 7) for actuating a respective pin (20) along a respective transverse direction (X) and cause the convex element (16) and the concave element (18) to be locked together to protect each actuator (21) from possible impacts and damages.
DUMP BODY AND DUMP TRUCK
A dump body includes: a side plate; a flow path which is provided in the side plate and through which an exhaust gas of an engine flows; an exhaust port of the exhaust gas which is provided in an outer surface of the side plate; and a guide surface which has a first inner end portion and a first outer end portion and is inclined downward toward the first outer end portion, the first inner end portion being connected to an outer surface of the side plate below the exhaust port.
SENSING DUMP BODY CHARACTERISTICS AND CONTROL
A material type identifier identifies a type of material loaded into a dump truck. When the dump truck is unloaded, a flow rate identification system identifies a flow rate of material exiting the dump truck. A flow rate controller automatically controls the tailgate actuator based on a desired flow rate of material exiting the dump body of the dump truck.
Rigid cover for dump trailer tank
The present invention is directed to a rigid cover for a dump trailer tank having a storage region with an open top used to transport bulk material. The rigid cover includes cover side walls having a top wall perimeter and a bottom wall perimeter and is configured along the bottom wall perimeter to correspond in shape with the open top of the trailer tank. The rigid cover includes a cover top connected to the cover side walls along the top wall perimeter and includes one or more ports in the top. The rigid cover includes cover fasteners mounted along the bottom wall perimeter configured to secure the plurality of cover side walls to the trailer tank so the traditional storage region of the trailer tank is transformed into an expanded storage region that allows storage of more bulk material than could otherwise be stored in the trailer tank alone.
AUTOMATIC FOUR BAR LINKAGE TAILGATE ANCHOR POINT
A mechanically fastened outrigger arrangement provides an anchor point for an automatic four bar linkage tailgate. The mechanically fastened outrigger arrangement includes an outrigger arrangement support frame and an outrigger extending outward from the outrigger arrangement support frame to a distal end configured to support a tailgate actuation link. Outrigger braces also extend from the outrigger arrangement support frame to the distal end of the outrigger. A lower clamp is configured to secure the outrigger arrangement support frame to a lateral support of a truck, and a truck frame clamp is configured to secure the outrigger arrangement support frame to a truck frame.
Hydraulic bale trailer
A hydraulic bale trailer comprising: a frame, where the frame is elongate and has a long axis; an axle caddy, where the frame is connected to the axle caddy such that the frame is capable of tilting on its long axis; a lock assembly connected to the axle caddy such that the lock assembly is capable of preventing the frame from tilting when the lock assembly is in an engaged position; and a hydraulic assembly with a first end and a second end, where the first end is connected to the frame and the second end is connected to the axle caddy and where the hydraulic assembly is capable of releasing the lock assembly from the engaged position to a disengaged position, allowing the frame to tilt.
Shield assembly for a dump box
A shield assembly for the dump box of a vehicle includes a first plate connected to a front wall of a dump box. A second plate, having a center section and outer sections is pivotally connected to the first plate. A handle is pivotally connected to the top plate and is adapted to move the second plate to a raised and a lowered position and lock in a raised and a lowered position.
SPACE FRAME CENTER LOWER FRAME CONNECTION
A center lower frame connection for a space frame comprising an outer lift cylinder connection boss, an inner drop tube connection boss, a center cylinder between the outer lift cylinder connection boss and the inner drop tube connection boss, a suspension connection boss, an outer rearward angular center lower frame tube connection boss, an inner rearward angular center lower frame tube connection boss, a vertical center lower frame tube connection boss, a forward angular center lower frame tube connection boss, an outer forward horizontal center lower frame tube connection boss, and an inner forward horizontal center lower frame tube connection boss.
