DUMP-TRUCK FLUID ASSISTANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A dump-truck fluid assistance system and method for prevention and remediation of material sticking to the truck bed and dampening generation of dust, at different stages of loading, transport, and dumping operations. Fluid is emitted from one or more outflow manifolds inside the bed of the dump truck for one or more purposes of lubricating the truck bed, regulating the temperature of the truck bed, physically flushing material from the truck bed, and dampening generation of airborne particles or dust. Under the control of a controller having a controller transceiver, directed via a cab operator transceiver or remote operator transceiver, a fluid pump sends fluid from a fluid reservoir via a fluid line into the outflow manifolds that emit the flow of fluid variously as spray, stream, jet, drip, or weep, into the bed of the dump truck.
Splash guard for concrete buggy
A splash guard for a power buggy bucket. A first bracket member has a first lower end and a first upper end, the first lower end adapted to attach to a bucket interior side wall of a bucket of a power buggy with the first upper end extending upward. A second bracket member has a second lower end and a second upper end, the second lower end adapted to attach to the bucket interior side wall in opposing relation to the first bracket member with the second upper end extending upward. A rod inserts into each bracket member. A non-rigid apron attaches to the rod, wherein the apron partially covers the bucket to deflect the pour.
DUMPING SYSTEM FOR DELIVERY OF AGGREGATE TO A RAILROAD TRACK OR ROADWAY
A dumping system for accurate and precise dumping of ballast rock, sand, and gravel (aggregate) to all areas of a railroad track (a track), all areas of a roadway, and all regions of the roadway is described. The dumping system includes a dump box, a dump gate having at least two delivery gates, an operating system, and a control system. The at least two delivery gates of the dump gate each include a top portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion of each of the at least two delivery gates is adjusted in real time by the operating system via the control system to accurately and precisely deliver the aggregate to all areas of the track or roadway. The dump box may further be rotated horizontally and vertically to aid with the delivery of aggregate to the track or roadway in an accurate manner.
Dumper vehicle
A dumper vehicle includes: a frame comprising a front end and a rear end; front and rear wheels mounted to the frame; an operator seat mounted to the frame; and an open topped container for carrying a load therein mounted to the frame between the front and rear wheels, wherein the container is moveable between a transport position for transporting a load and a discharge position for discharging of a load; wherein the container defines an upper extent thereof, and wherein said upper extent of the container decreases in height with respect to a lower extent of the wheels towards the front end of the frame, when the container is in the transport position.
Hoist pivot arrangement for a dump truck
A dump truck (10) has a tipping body (30) in the form of a shell structure for holding material, which is pivotally mounted to the chassis (19) of the dump truck (10) for tilting about a transverse tipping axis. The truck (10) has at least one hoist pivot (33) configured for connection to a respective tipping ram (18) mounted to the chassis (19). The hoist pivot (33) is positioned to abut against the underside of the shell structure (36) when acted upon by the tipping ram (18) and tilt the tipping body (30) about the tipping axis. However, the hoist pivot (33) is not integral or welded to the shell structure (36). High stress concentrations are thereby avoided or significantly lessened in the tipping body shell in the vicinity of the hoist pivot, and there are no welds between the hoist pivot and the shell structure to become fatigued or crack. This enables a simplified and lighter single skin shell structure to be used for the tipping body.
Methods and systems associated with a mobile bin tipper
A mobile bin tipper that is configured to receive, lift, and rotate a bin. The mobile bin tipper quickly and efficiently empty the content of bins into larger containers.
TRUCK LOAD BED WITH HYDRAULIC TILT/HYDRAULIC TAIL THAT UTILIZES A UNIFIED HINGE
A unified hinge may comprise a hinge tube that is rigidly attached to a truck frame and a bed section of a truck bed and a tail section of the truck bed, each of the bed section and the tail section having opposing hinge barrels affixed thereto that concentrically align on the hinge tube. Similarly, a unified hinge may comprise one or more mounting barrels that are rigidly attached to a truck frame and a bed section of a truck bed and a tail section of the truck bed, each of the bed section and the tail section having opposing hinge barrels affixed thereto that concentrically align on the one or more mounting barrels; a hinge tube runs through the one or more mounting barrels and the opposing hinge barrels. The unified hinge allows the bed section and the tail section to independently pivot along the hinge tube.
ROTATABLE TAILGATE
A rotatable tailgate assembly is provided for installation on a dump bed. The tailgate assembly has support members attachable to the side of the dump bed. Each support member has at least one bearing adjacent at a free end extending rearwardly of the dump bed's rear opening. A tailgate has a cylindrical tailgate shaft with a first end rotatably received within the bearing of a first support member and a second end rotatably received within a bearing of a second support member. The tailgate has a closure portion extending radially away from the tailgate shaft. The closure portion engages the rear edges of the dump bed floor and sides to close off the dump bed opening when the tailgate assembly is in a closed rotational position. The tailgate assembly also comprises a rotation actuator operatively connected to the tailgate shaft for selective rotation thereof.
Payload carrying machine and dump body linkage
Described herein are illustrative payload carrying machines and dump body linkage. An example vehicle can include a frame and a dump body movable relative to the frame. In the example vehicle, an articulation mechanism can be connected to both the dump body and the frame. The articulation mechanism can be a four-link system including a first pair of links can be coupled to the frame and dump body and a second pair of links can be coupled to the frame and dump body. The second pair of links can be longer than the first pair of links.
Container Base Frame Assemblies with Pivot Legs
A lift frame assembly for a vehicle having an air suspension system is described herein which includes a lift frame assembly with a top frame body having a locking mechanism, a lift mechanism with an inflatable air bag operable with respect to the frame body and a source of compressed air in fluid communication with the inflatable air bag; and an air suspension system comprising a height adjustment valve for raising and lowering a frame height in communication with the source of compressed air, wherein the height adjustment valve operates in communication with an air suspension height control valve, and the height adjustment valve is operable to raise and lower the height of the frame by inflating or deflating at least a first pair of air springs positioned on a portion of the lift frame opposite the lift mechanism. The lift frame assembly may be used in conjunction with a cargo container assembly herein having a cargo base frame incorporating securable longitudinally pivotable support legs or lockable extendable and retractable support legs to provide a vehicle cargo container and lift frame assembly.
