Portable and foldable lift
A portable and foldable lift can be attached to a surface such as a tailgate of a truck. The lift can be slid off the gate and used to lift heavy objects from the ground to the bed of the truck. The portable and foldable lift is returned in a folded position to the tailgate for easy storage. The portable and foldable lift can also be attached to a work bench, either on top or underneath, and can be folded up and stored out of the way.
Motorcycle lift
A lift system comprising a chassis having a frame. The frame including a first extension member and a second extension member opposite thereof. Each of the first extension member and the second extension member being extendable and coupled to the frame. A first scissor support is coupled to the first extension member. A second scissor support is coupled to the second extension member. The first and second scissor supports are configured rigid and extendable from each of the first and second extension members. A platform is coupled to each of the first and second scissor support. The platform is configured to rigidly support an object coupled thereto. A first actuator is coupled to the frame. The first actuator is configured to extend and retract the first and second extension members. A second actuator is coupled to the scissor lift and configured to move the platform.
CARGO LOWERING SLIDE ASSEMBLY
The present invention is directed to the problem of maneuvering heavy cargo to an ergonomically correct lifting height for countless industries, including for equipment stored on firefighting and rescue vehicles. Mechanical and electrically actuated horizontal drawer slides and extendable arms enable loads to be moved outside of an enclosure or storage structure for easier access.
Shuttle van system for container terminal and method for transporting containers using same
A shuttle van system for a container terminal, including: at least one rail and a transfer device. The transfer device includes a plurality of shuttle vans and a plurality of transition platforms. Each shuttle van includes: a base frame, a wheel group, a wheel driving device, a lifting device, and a supporting plate. Each transition platform includes brackets. The shuttle vans run on the rail between the brackets. The lifting device of the shuttle van is configured to lift the container from the supporting plate. The container is transferred from the supporting plate of the shuttle van to the bracket after contraction of the lifting device.
Elevating storage apparatus
This invention provides elevating storage apparatus (10) for storing an article or articles in an elevated position from which the article(s) cannot be vertically lowered because an obstacle obscures the space there beneath. To achieve this the article(s) which are supported on article support means (14) are moved outwardly with the article support means (14) supported by a pair of spaced apart slide assemblies (11, 12) for longitudinal movement between the stowed elevated position above the obscuring obstacle and a withdrawn elevated position forward of the obstacle. The article support means (14) is connected to the slide assemblies (11, 12) by links (52, 53) which enable the article support means to be raised and lowered between substantially vertically aligned withdrawn elevated position and the lower accessible position. Control means (60) is provided for selectively raising and lowering the article support means (14) relative to the slide assemblies (11, 12) and for moving the article support means to and from its stowed elevated position.
SYSTEM FOR ACCOMMODATING OBJECTS
The present invention relates to a system (1, 2, 3) for accommodating objects, comprising a guide assembly (1), which can be arranged in a stationary manner, a first motion assembly (2), which is connected to the guide assembly (1) and which can be moved horizontally in the direction of a longitudinal axis (X) in relation to the guide assembly (1), and a second motion assembly (3), which is connected to the first motion assembly (2) and which can be moved vertically in the direction of a vertical axis (Z) in relation to the first motion assembly (2) and can accommodate objects, wherein the first motion assembly (2) can be moved out in the direction of the longitudinal axis (X) so far over the guide assembly (1) that the second motion assembly (3) can be moved in relation to the first motion assembly (2) past the guide assembly (1) in the direction of the vertical axis (Z).
Apparatus for moving an item
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for moving an item. The apparatus comprises a mounting portion for mounting the apparatus to a surface, a platform configured to receive the item thereon, extendable arms configured to extend away from the mounting portion, wherein the platform is moveable between a storage position above the surface and an accessible position away from the surface, lifting assemblies that join opposing sides of the platform to a respective extendable arm, the lifting assemblies being configured to raise and lower the platform relative to the extendable arms whilst in the accessible position, and a driver operable to raise and lower the platform. At least one of the lifting assemblies comprises three arms, at least one arm being a driven arm that is driven by the driver whereby the platform is raised or lowered, and another are being a stabilising arm that is configured to move synchronously with the driven arm whereby the platform is stabilised.
TELESCOPIC LIFTGATES
Telescopic liftgates including a first telescopic siderail, a second telescopic siderail, a first pulley, a first elongate tension bearing member, and a platform. The second telescopic siderail extends parallel to the first telescopic siderail. The first and second telescopic siderails include outer and inner members. The inner members are moveably supported by the outer members and configured to extend beyond outer members. The first pulley is mounted to the first inner member. The first elongate tension bearing member is supported on the first pulley. The platform is supported by the first elongate tension bearing member. The platform, the first pulley, and the first elongate tension bearing member cooperate to allow the platform to selectively raise and lower relative to the inner members when the inner members are extended beyond the outer members sufficient that the platform is disposed beyond the rear of the vehicle.
Cargo handling device for a vehicle
A cargo handling device is disclosed for a vehicle. The cargo handling device comprises a base and a lower track. A traveler and a storage unit slidably engage the lower track between a proximal end and a distal end. A linear actuator displaces the traveler between the proximal end and the distal end. A telescoping actuator is pivotably coupled to the traveler and the storage unit. A contracted length in the telescoping actuator maintains the traveler abutting the storage unit during displacement of the traveler between the proximal end and the distal end. An extended length in the telescoping actuator displaces the storage unit from the traveler upon the traveler positioned at the distal end. The extended length defines a horizontal displacement and a vertical displacement of the storage unit from the traveler for positioning the storage unit adjacent the surface.
LOADING PLATFORM ALIGNMENT SYSTEM AND LOADING/UNLOADING METHOD THEREOF
A method and an alignment system which auto-levels and/or auto-centers a loading platform (104) to load and unload a wheeled stretcher (106) to and from an emergency transport vehicle (100) are disclosed. A controller (114) of the alignment system receives a command to extend the loading platform from the emergency vehicle and extends the loading platform under power from the emergency transport vehicle. The controller recognizes an approaching wheeled stretcher, and aligns automatically the loading platform with a leading edge of the approaching wheeled stretcher to compensate automatically for any alignment issues between the loading platform and loading wheels (130) of the wheeled stretcher.
