The present embodiments provide an aviary that includes a floor, a roof, and at least one wall having a plenum to draw air adjacent the roof down the plenum toward the floor. At least one cage tower is disposed on the floor. At least one walkway is disposed adjacent the at least one cage tower and is configured to facilitate bird access to the at least one cage tower. A fan is disposed in flow communication with the plenum to circulate air in the aviary.
AVIARY WALKWAY AND VENTILATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CIRCULATING AIR IN AN AVIARY
The present embodiments provide an aviary that includes a floor, a roof, and at least one wall having a plenum to draw air adjacent the roof down the plenum toward the floor. At least one cage tower is disposed on the floor. At least one walkway is disposed adjacent the at least one cage tower and is configured to facilitate bird access to the at least one cage tower. A fan is disposed in flow communication with the plenum to circulate air in the aviary.
POULTRY MANAGEMENT DEVICE HAVING A DRYING DEVICE
A poultry management device comprises a living area for the poultry, a collection device having a collection face for poultry droppings, the collection device being disposed below the living area, and a drying device configured for drying the poultry droppings on the collection device. The drying device comprises a fan element which is mounted so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis which is aligned at an angle of 45 to 90 in relation to the collection face.

POULTRY HOUSING UNIT PLENUM FLOORING VENTILATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A plenum flooring system is installed over high density insulation panels, capable of preventing both heat loss to ground and intrusion of ground moisture into the flooring plenum space. The system is comprised of one or more flooring segments, each containing at least one surface opening to the plenum space, and a plenum ventilation system. The ventilation system includes a blower and air inlet openings in seals that are arranged along the perimeter of the plenum flooring segments at the walls of the interior of the poultry housing unit. The blower withdraws air from the plenum space through the surface opening of the flooring segment and discharges it into the poultry housing unit chamber, creating a continuous flow of ventilation air to maintain uniform flooring surface temperatures and remove moisture that migrates to the plenum space from manure on the perforated flooring surface due a moisture gradient. The plenum ventilation system further includes a refrigerated dehumidifier/air circulation unit to condense moisture in the chamber air and discharges the condensate liquid to the housing unit exterior.
