A trailer for carrying unit load devices (ULDs), including unloaded and/or loaded containers and pallets, or other cargo; the trailer designed to be towed on surface streets and highways by conventional motorized truck-tractor units. The trailers are equipped with adjustable decks for supporting ULDs in stacked configuration on the trailer. Using a lowered well portion permits selected ULD stacks to not exceed legal trailer height limits so that additional permitting is not required.
TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR CONTAINERS
A transport vehicle includes a first support surface and two opposite guiding surfaces that are oriented towards each other to guide a container that is placed onto the transport vehicle in the direction of the first support surface, with the first support surface located between the guiding surfaces, and with a lifting platform arranged between the guiding surfaces. An adapter that is movable between a standby and an operating position such that a container placed onto the vehicle is guided onto the first support surface when the adapter is in the standby position and the lifting platform is down in a transporting position, while the container is guided onto a second support surface formed by the lifting platform when the adapter is placed on the transport vehicle in the operating position of the adapter and when the lifting platform is placed on the transport vehicle via the adapter.
TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR CONTAINERS
A transport vehicle for containers, with a first set-down surface on which a container can be set down, and with two opposite guide surfaces which run directed towards each other in the direction of the first set-down surface in order to guide a container in the direction of the first set-down surface when setting the container down on the transport vehicle (1) with the first set-down surface arranged between the guide surfaces. An adapter is provided which is movable between a standby position and an operating position in such a manner that a container, when being set down on the transport vehicle, is guided onto the first set-down surface when the adapter is in the standby position, and is guided onto a second set-down surface formed by the adapter and arranged between the guide surfaces when the adapter is placed onto the transport vehicle in the operating position.
APPARATUS FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING LNG TANK CONTAINER
The present invention relates to an apparatus for loading and unloading an LNG tank container, the apparatus comprising: a base provided at a place at which LNG is used; a transfer cart capable of moving back and forth with respect to the base; a clamping device provided at a head part of the transfer cart; and a clamp position adjusting device capable of adjusting a horizontal position of the clamping device. Since there is no transfer of the LNG between tanks, the amount of LNG loss is reduced and the risk for the occurrence of a fire accident is reduced.
Method and apparatus for transporting a payload
A method and apparatus for transporting a payload carrying device is disclosed. The method comprises providing at least one payload carrying device, a vehicle for transporting the at least one payload carrying device, a connection device for connecting the vehicle and the at least one payload carrying device, at least one sensor device for capturing information regarding the vehicle's surrounding environment, and a control unit for operating the connection device autonomously to connect the vehicle and the at least one payload carrying device where, once connected, the weight of the at least one payload carrying device rests directly on the floor and the vehicle autonomously transports the at least one payload carrying device to a desired location, and operating the connection device autonomously to disconnect the vehicle and the at least one payload carrying device at the desired location where the at least one payload carrying device is immobilized.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORAGE OF CONTAINERS
A vehicle configured for conveying at least one container. The vehicle has a supporting portion configured for holding said container, and a primary lifting mechanism for controlling elevation of the supporting portion. The lifting mechanism is configured to move the supporting portion between an elevated position and a lowered position. The supporting portion is configured for assuming a retracted state associated with a first outline of the vehicle when seen from above, and combinable at least with the lowered position of the supporting portion, and an extended state associated with a second outline of the vehicle when seen from above and combinable at least with the elevated position of the supporting portion. The supporting portion in its extended state has projecting areas, projecting in the second outline relative to the first outline and configured for supporting said container.

A truck loader is provided which includes a base placeable within a truck bed; a first end of a platform is pivotably connectable to the base proximate to a first end of the base; a support is pivotably secured to the platform and pivotably secured to the base proximate to a second end of the base.
