Roll Off Truck
A new and improved roll-off truck is provided, consisting of a cab; a chassis; an integrated frame assembly connected to the chassis and is connectable to the gantry of a tarper system; a hoist comprising: a plurality of frame rails connected to the chassis at a pivot point at the rear of the chassis, and a plurality of hydraulic cylinders connected to the chassis and the plurality of frame rails, wherein the hoist is movable between a first position that is substantially horizontal and a second position that is angled to permit the loading and unloading of a container; and a control center mounted on the floor of the cab, comprising a swivel post that is adjustable to match the driver's preferred position and is configured to control the hoist and provide the displays for one or more external video cameras and the readout for an on-board scale.
Hoist for vehicle with interchangeable body
A hoist for raising and mounting an interchangeable vehicle body onto a vehicle chassis. The hoist includes a hoist frame having a pivot end and an elevated end for slidably supporting the interchangeable body. A subframe with a bolt-on assembly is provided for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A linkage connects the hoist frame to the subframe. The linkage also includes a hinge joint member for raising the elevated end of the hoist frame. A hinge assembly pivotally connects to the pivot end of the hoist frame. The hinge assembly has a bolt-on mounting bracket for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A winch assembly is retained in the elevated end of the hoist frame and extending beyond the pivot end for raising the interchangeable body onto the hoist frame.
Object handling device and method
An object handling device handles a first object and a second object. A lower support beam, a first side frame and a second side frame define a lower object holding channel for supporting the first object. A first upper support beam and a second upper support beam define an upper object holding channel. An object lift vertically lifts the first object from the lower object holding channel to the upper object holding channel. A beam lift pivots the lower support beam and the first object. A lower hoist positions a second object within the lower object holding channel. A first telescoping support beam and a second telescoping support beam define an angled object displacement channel. An upper hoist links with the first object for displacing the first object along the angled object displacement channel.
HOIST FOR VEHICLE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BODY
Provided in this disclosure is a hoist for raising and mounting an interchangeable vehicle body onto a vehicle chassis. A mounting bracket pivotally connects to the pivot end of the hoist frame. The mounting bracket has a bolt-on assembly for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A winch assembly is retained in the elevated end of the hoist frame and extending to the pivot end for raising the interchangeable body onto the hoist frame.
Slide and cantilever ramp system
An exemplary ramp system for an automotive vehicle includes a ramp member including an upper ramp surface and a lower ramp surface, the upper ramp surface including a retention feature, a first channel, and a second channel, the lower ramp surface including a guide member, a platform including an upper platform surface and a lower platform surface, the upper platform surface including a guide rail and a support assembly, and a drive assembly coupled to the platform. The drive assembly is actuatable to move the ramp member relative to the platform.
Dumpster handling device and method
A method is disclosed for handling a first dumpster and a second dumpster. The method comprises the steps of lifting the first dumpster from a lower dumpster holding channel to an upper dumpster holding channel. The lower dumpster holding channel, the upper dumpster holding channel and the first dumpster are pivoted relative to a rear chassis. The second dumpster is positioned into the lower dumpster holding channel. An angled dumpster displacement channel is extended from the rear chassis. The first dumpster is lowered from the upper dumpster holding channel and along the angled dumpster displacement channel. The lower dumpster holding channel, the upper dumpster holding channel and the second dumpster are pivoted relative to the rear chassis.
Apparatuses, Systems, and Methods for the Safe Disposal of Concrete Washout
Systems and methods for improved removal and disposal of concrete waste by using a washout container on a roll-off truck, whereby the washout container may include a cradle and liner that are both durable and easy to maintain.
Roll off trailer frame and two trolley assemblies
A roll off trailer includes first and second trolley assemblies and a hoisting cable connected at one end to the first trolley assemble and extending about a sheave in each of the first and second trolley assemblies. The cable connects to a container. The second trolley is displaced t in a first direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the first grounded container to a second container position generally midway atop the trailer. Then, the first trolley is displaced in a second direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the second container position to a third container position generally adjacent the front of the trailer.
CARGO HAULER FOR A PICKUP TRUCK
A cargo hauler for hauling cargo that includes a rack assembly with a stationary frame and a tilting frame pivotally connected to the stationary frame, a rail assembly detachably connected to and extending rearwardly from the tilting frame, a carriage assembly including a carriage frame configured for supporting the cargo, and an actuating mechanism. The actuating mechanism is configured for tilting the tilting frame relative to the stationary frame, and for towing the carriage assembly from the ground over the rail assembly and onto to the tilting frame, and for lowering the carriage assembly from the tilting frame over the rail assembly and onto the ground.
