STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR SECURING AND TRANSPORTING EQUIPMENT RACKS

A shipping apparatus utilizes logistic bars attached laterally across a carrier shipping enclosure such as truck trailer or shipping container. The logistic bars can engage tracks attached to lateral sidewalls of the carrier shipping enclosure. One or more equipment racks are positioned behind one of the lateral logistic bars. Another logistic bar is placed behind the one or more equipment racks. Each of the equipment racks are secured in place by clamping devices positioned along a respective lateral logistic bar to be proximate to a respective corner of the equipment rack. Longitudinal logistic bars are engaged to a pair of the clamping devices that are on opposing lateral sides of the equipment rack. The shipping apparatus provides a rigid structure that is appropriately positioned without damaging components within the equipment rack and preventing swaying during transport of the equipment rack.

TRAILER FOR HAULING UNIT LOAD DEVICES

A trailer for carrying unit load devices (ULDs), including unloaded and/or loaded containers and pallets, or other cargo; the trailer designed to be towed on surface streets and highways by conventional motorized truck-tractor units. The trailers are equipped with adjustable decks for supporting ULDs in stacked configuration on the trailer. Using a lowered well portion permits selected ULD stacks to not exceed legal trailer height limits so that additional permitting is not required.

The invention relates to a goods storage trailer including connection means to allow the trailer to be connected to a tractor unit and a plurality of wheels which allow the trailer to be moved along a surface. The trailer is formed by a base, opposing sidewalls, opposing end walls, a roof and a deck located intermediate the roof and base so as to define two storage areas within the cavity of the trailer. At one of the ends, there is provided a door assembly which is movable between open and closed positions to allow access to the cavity and the base is formed by a plurality of portions at different heights with respect to said support surface and the floor of the base and the upper deck are used to locate goods thereon.

VEHICLES FOR PACKAGE DELIVERY, SYSTEMS FOR SAME, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS

A vehicle for package delivery is provided. The vehicle includes one or more processors; a tile floor system connected to the one or more processors, the tile floor system comprising a plurality of tiles with actuators that individually move containers thereon, and in a first arrangement a first tile is associated with a first container; at least one imaging device; and a memory. The processors determine an identifier for a package, receive first image data associated with the package from the imaging device, determine a first association of the package with the first container based on the first image data, determine a first delivery route that includes a first stop associated with the identifier for the package, and rearrange the containers by the tile floor system into a second arrangement based on the first delivery route prior to the first stop of the first delivery route.

An apparatus and process for delivering proppant to a well site has a trailer with a bed thereon and at least one track of rollers extending in parallel relationship to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. The track of rollers extend substantially for an entire length of the bed of the trailer. At least one proppant container is translatably positioned on the track of rollers. The proppant container is movable along the array of rollers from one end of the bed to an opposite end of the bed. A bin can be removably positioned below the bed of the trailer in a position rearward of the front end of the trailer and forward of a rear end of the trailer so as to allow the proppant container to discharge into the bin. A conveyor is cooperative with the bin so as to move proppant from the bin to a location at the well site.
