Buoyancy tank with integrated cylindrical structures

A buoyancy tank for a portable floatation apparatus which allows for the elevation of a watercraft above a water-line and which allows for the removal of the watercraft from a body of water. The buoyancy tank has at least one and/or a plurality of integrated cylindrical structures which supports the floatation apparatus in transport and storage. The integrated cylindrical structures provide sufficient support to allow the removal of the floatation apparatus by use of a boat lift and further provide sufficient support to allow a watercraft to be stacked on top of the floating apparatus while the floating apparatus is stacked on top of the floating apparatus for the purposes of storage. A plurality of said buoyancy tanks may be connected to the portable floatation apparatus by use of connecting means. The portable floatation apparatus should have a pumping device which pumps a sufficient volume of air into a plurality of the buoyancy tank which is effective to selectively and conveniently elevate a watercraft above a water line.

Boat lift

A lift raises and lowers a boat to load and unload the boat onto a roof of or a roof rack on a vehicle. The lift has an upper frame having a longitudinal axis, a lower frame having a longitudinal axis, and a linkage connecting the upper frame to the lower frame. In a first position the linkage is extended and the lift is raised and in a second position the linkage is retracted and the lift is lowered. At least one lift rack extends from or is part of the upper frame. The lift rack is adapted to support a boat at least vertically such that in the extended linkage first position a boat may be slid in a longitudinal direction between the lift rack and the roof or the roof rack of the vehicle. A method for using the lift is also disclosed.

The present invention concerns a handling system and method for use with a carrier vehicle or structure for unloading from, loading to and storing a smaller vehicle or body aboard the carrier vehicle or structure. The system includes a cradle for supporting a smaller vehicle or body therein. The cradle is mounted to a carrier vehicle or structure and is configured to be pivotable between a tilted position in which a smaller vehicle or body can be unloaded from or loaded into the cradle and a level position in which said smaller vehicle or body is stored aboard the carrier vehicle or structure. The system also includes at least one linear actuator for driving movement of the cradle between said tilted position and said level position.

EXTRACTION VESSEL FOR EXTRACTING FLOATING DEBRIS

An extraction vessel is provided that includes two pontoons forming parallel hulls, a cargo hold located between the pontoons, and a retractable extraction conveyor belt located between the pontoons and mounted on tracks so as to be movable between retracted and deployed positions. In the retracted position, a lower end of the conveyor belt is above the waterline of the vessel. In the deployed position, the lower end of the conveyor belt is below the waterline for extracting the floating debris, and an upper end of the conveyer belt is above the cargo hold to discharge the floating debris into the cargo hold. Also provided is an extraction vessel that includes variable buoyancy floats attached to the pontoons and movable between a raised position in which the lowest surface of the float is above the waterline, and a lowered position in which part of the float is submerged.

One-piece composite trailer

A trailer frame constructed from a polymer that cannot rust or corrode. The trailer employs a support plate that reinforces an inner and outer wall forming beams that includes a matrix of crisscrossed support walls. A top deck is releasably secured to the frame allowing refinishing of the trailer should the deck be damaged without replacement of the frame. Alternatively the top deck can be a foundation for an enclosure, shield, fence or any other known securement structures.
