Tank support system incorporating tank identification
A tank support system includes a hollow open-top container having a contiguous sidewall region and a bottom region coupled to the sidewall region. A loop antenna is coupled to a portion of the container's sidewall region. A tuning circuit coupled to the loop antenna provides for adjustment of the loop antenna's electrical impedance. A radio frequency identification (RFID) reader is coupled to the tuning circuit.
TANK OVERHEAD LINE LIQUID BACKFLOW RESTRICTION DEVICE
A device for restricting liquid backflow through an overhead line on a tank and a method of using the device are provided. The device has a tubular housing with spaced internal baffle plates. The device is secured in place in the interior of an overhead pipe on the top of a tank on a tank truck or other vehicle used for transporting bulk liquid cargo. The device prevents liquid backflow from entering overhead piping due to sloshing action of the liquid during transport. The device allows air to flow through the device so that air may be supplied to the tank, as well as vented from the tank, through the device.
Vacuum truck tank securement system and method
Systems and methods for securing a tank to a chassis. In an embodiment, a vehicle includes a chassis and a tank having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is coupled with the chassis for pivotal movement with respect thereto. The vehicle also includes a structural pad coupled to the tank and at least one rib extending from the structural pad. The at least one rib has at least one aperture defined therethrough. At least one fluid cylinder is coupled with the chassis. The at least one fluid cylinder is coupled with a pin aligned with the aperture. Actuation of the at least one fluid cylinder causes the pin to move between a first position wherein the pin is not received within the aperture and a second position wherein the pin is received within the aperture.
Fire Fighting Vehicle
An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, a front axle coupled to the chassis, a first rear axle coupled to the chassis, a second rear axle coupled to the chassis, a water tank supported on the chassis in a location above the first rear axle, an electromechanical transmission device coupled to the chassis in a location above the first rear axle and below the water tank, and a high voltage module supported on the chassis in a location above the second rear axle. The first rear axle is between the front axle and the second rear axle. The high voltage module includes a battery pack assembly and a high voltage wiring harness connected to the electromechanical transmission device.
MEDIUM INSTALLATION OF A VEHICLE, EMPTYING DEVICE FOR A MEDIUM LINE, AND VEHICLE WITH THE MEDIUM INSTALLATION
An emptying device for a medium line of a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle, can be connected between a medium tank of the vehicle and the medium line to be emptied. A first non-return valve is arranged in a first connecting line between the medium tank and the medium line to be emptied and permits a flow of the medium from the medium tank into the medium line, but blocks a reverse flow. A second connecting line opens into the first connecting line downstream of the first non-return valve. The second connecting line, for emptying the medium line, can be connected to a pressure medium source and can be acted upon by the pressure medium in order to empty the medium line. There is also described a medium installation of a vehicle and a corresponding vehicle.
MOBILE REFUELING VESSEL
A mobile vessel for refueling engines at remote refueling sites. The vessel has a tank with side walls and a rectangular bottom portion. The bottom portion is configured to rest on the ground and it includes an inner wall and a lower plate. The bottom portion further includes spacer elements between the inner wall and lower plate that defines a gap there between for collecting fuel that may leak from the tank.
TANK SUPPORT SYSTEM INCORPORATING TANK IDENTIFICATION

A loop antenna is coupled to a portion of the container's sidewall region. A tuning circuit coupled to the loop antenna provides for adjustment of the loop antenna's electrical impedance. A radio frequency identification (RFID) reader is coupled to the tuning circuit.

Over the wheel well liquid storage tank
An over the wheel well liquid storage tank for storing liquid in a bed of a truck includes a tank body having a main tank portion shaped to fit in an area adjacent a wheel well in the bed of a truck and an over a wheel well tank portion shaped to fit in an area above a wheel well in the bed of a truck. The main tank portion is shaped to fit in an area adjacent a proximal side of the wheel well or in an area adjacent a distal side of the wheel well. A mounting system is coupled to the tank body. The mounting system couples the tank body to the bed of a truck. The mounting system includes a channel coupled to the tank body and a mounting bracket for coupling to the channel and to the truck. The mounting system includes an adjustable bumper.
SUPPORTIVE BELLY PAD FOR A ROUNDED TRAILER
A structurally supportive belly pad is connected to a rounded trailer and configured to support the same near the rear end of the trailer. The belly pad may be arcuately curved complementary to the curvature of the rounded trailer. However, if the belly pad were laid flat, it includes a pair of parallel legs aligned in a generally longitudinal direction with a plurality of transverse ribs extending therebetween. The shape of the belly pad is configured to provide structural support for the trailer which is beneficial especially when the trailer is raised and lowered, typically through hydraulic mechanisms.
