The tank includes a tank having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

Minimizing relative movement between component parts of a tank during loading and unloading

A product delivery vehicle system includes a product delivery vehicle with at least one tank compartment. The system includes an internal valve fluidly coupled to the tank compartment, a control valve, and an air system comprising a main air valve and a solenoid valve fluidly coupled to the main air valve and to the internal valve. The solenoid valve is operable to open and close the internal valve. The system includes an electronic control unit communicatively coupled to the control valve, the main air valve, and the solenoid valve. The system includes a tank tag reader operable to read a tank tag and transmit a tank tag indicator associated with the tank tag, the tank tag indicator indicative of a stored liquid type in a distribution tank. The electronic control unit may maintain the internal valve closed and the control valve locked when a product type mismatch is detected.

Mobile fuel dispenser

A mobile fuel delivery system and method are described for dispensing fuel in a poorly ventilated area. The system includes a fuel dispensing nozzle for dispensing the fuel; a cargo tank 16 for containing the fuel; a vapour recovery nozzle for recovering vapour from a fuel tank of a vehicle during fuelling; a sealing mechanism for sealingly engaging the fuel tank, a vapour tank 18; a pressure/vacuum release valve 20 connected between tank 16 and tank 18 and which is operable to increase/decrease pressure within tank 16 during dispensing of fuel and recovery of vapour recovered by the vapour recovery nozzle and pumped into the tank 16; and a safety mechanism including a control module 38 and a pressure detector 36 for detecting pressure within the tank 18, the module 38 being operable to stop fuel dispensing when pressure in tank 18 reaches a predetermined pressure.

Collection tank

A collection tank for use in a vacuum operated earth reduction system, the collection tank comprising a closed first end, an open second end defining a tank sealing flange and a body extending between the closed first end and the open second end. An internal chamber defined by the body, the closed first end and the open second end has a door coupled to the open second end and is configured to releasably seal the open second end. An automated door closer is coupled to a center of the door, wherein the automated door closer provides a closing force at the center of the door so that the closing force is equally distributed about a periphery of the door to seal the door against the tank sealing flange.

The heater is positioned to facilitate selectively heating the hydraulic fluid. The temperature sensor is positioned to acquire temperature data indicative of a temperature of the hydraulic fluid. The controller is configured to monitor the temperature of the hydraulic fluid and selectively activate at least one of the heater or the pump to thermally regulate the hydraulic fluid (i) to maintain the hydraulic fluid within a target temperature range and (ii) independent of (a) an operator input and (b) engagement of the actuator.

Sand trailer

A trailer for transporting granular material, such as sand or proppant, has a purpose-built shape, and loading and unloading hatches at top and bottom. The trailer includes a hollow vessel for holding granular material. The vessel is enclosed with top and bottom hatches. The vessel has a tapered lower section and a domed upper section, allowing bulk material to be piled and concentrated horizontally below and above the hatches. A chassis extends fore and aft of the vessel, and potentially through an interior of the vessel. The chassis may extend upward from a wheeled section so as to pass through a vertically central part of the vessel. The chassis may also act as a trailer suspension system. The vessel may be made of aluminium and mounted to the steel chassis.
