Disclosed herein are embodiments of a roof top tent system, that can include a lower frame portion coupleable with a bed of a truck, an upper frame portion coupleable with the lower frame portion, a platform assembly coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly, including an upper platform portion, a lower platform portion coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly along a first end portion of the lower and upper platform portions, and a platform hinge configured to hingedly couple the lower platform portion with the upper platform portion so that the upper platform portion can rotate between a first position in which the upper platform portion is substantially parallel to and adjacent to the lower platform portion and a second position in which the upper platform portion extends at an angle away from the lower platform portion.

The apparatus can be disposed within a vehicle, such as an RV, adjacent a closable opening to the exterior of the vehicle, which gives full access to both sizes of the storage area. The apparatus can be formed with a slideable end wall which contains a pocket for receiving and storing an access ladder for the upper bunk, and that end wall can form a closable opening for the storage area.

A sleeping cot has been disclosed herein. The sleeping cot may be partially installed in a front cabin of vehicles and deployed when needed. The sleeping cot includes metallic rods and a flexible mat that is removably attached to the metallic rods. The sleeping cot unit may further include front brackets attached to or adjacent the A-pillars of the vehicle and rear brackets attached to or adjacent the B-pillars of the vehicle. Further, one metallic rod is removably attached to the front brackets, and another metallic rod is removably attached to the rear brackets. Further, the flexible mat can be made firm by rotating one of the metallic rods within the brackets tightening the fabric mat wrapped around it. Further, the rotation and position of the metallic rod can be temporarily secured within the brackets to retain a firm mat.

The base is configured to securely mount to the horizontal neck portion of the gooseneck trailer. The enclosure defines a mobile dwelling supported on the base. In some examples, the sleeper cabs include a ladder to assist with climbing up to or descending from the enclosure.
