ROAD TRANSPORT APPARATUS FOR HELICOPTER
An apparatus for transporting a helicopter by ground transportation is hereby presented, the apparatus comprising a mechanism pulling on the rotor assembly to alleviate at least a portion of a mass of the blades to prevent mechanical compression to be applied on a rotor of the helicopter when the helicopter is transported with the apparatus. A trailer thereof, an operation command center, a helicopter crate and a method of use thereof are also presented therein.
Lock assembly with rotating inner pawl
A lock assembly includes a pawl body having first restraint surface and a second restraint surface, wherein the pawl body rotates between an extended position and a retracted position, an inner pawl rotatably coupled to the pawl body, wherein the inner pawl is rotated away from the second restraint surface in the retracted position of the pawl body, and a biasing member associated with the inner pawl, wherein the biasing member urges the inner pawl to be aligned with the second restraint surface in the extended position of the pawl body.
VEHICULAR CARGO RETAINER ASSEMBLY
A vehicular cargo restraint assembly includes a support platform. A plurality of panels are each movably coupled to the support platform. Each of the panels is independently movable between a first position wherein the panel is flat against the support platform, and a second position wherein the panel is offset from the support platform and configured to prevent the movement of cargo within a vehicle cabin.
Customizable cargo bed system for a vehicle
A customizable cargo bed system for a vehicle includes a plurality of adjoining surfaces, with at least one surface of the plurality of adjoining surfaces including at least one recessed portion. The system also includes at least one accessory panel structured to be removably attachable to the at least one surface along the at least one recessed portion. The at least one accessory panel is structured to support at least a portion of an object to be positioned in the cargo bed when the at least one accessory panel is attached to the at least one surface.
Device for securing loads on a loading surface of a vehicle
A device for securing loads on a loading surface of a vehicle, comprising at least one floor plate retained on the loading surface and having recesses arranged to be distributed in a grid-like manner, rods or tubes which are able to be releasably fixed in the recesses and at least one limiting element which at two ends in each case comprises at least one fastener, the ends of the limiting element being able to be releasably fastened thereby to a free end of the rods or tubes. The at least one limiting element is configured as a flexible strap.
CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A cargo management system includes a support, having a plurality of receivers, a key, including a tongue that may be inserted into one receiver of the plurality of receivers and a locking mechanism releasably securing the key to the support and the tongue in the receiver. A first point of a strap is captured between the tongue and the receiver and extended over the cargo to be transported. A second key is then inserted into a second receiver to secure a second point of the strap and thereby hold the cargo in position on the support.
CARGO RESTRAINT SYSTEM
A cargo restraint system is adapted to lock-down a plurality of cargo containers in a cargo bay. The cargo restraint system includes a plurality of lock-down assemblies and a control panel. The plurality of lock-down assemblies each include a structural frame, a first pawl, and an electric motor supported by the structural frame. The first pawl is adapted to pivot about a pivot axis between a latched position for lock-down of at least one of the plurality of cargo containers and an unlatched position. The electric motor is adapted to drive the first pawl between the latched and unlatched positions. The control panel is configured to control the positioning of the plurality of lock-down assemblies via the respective electric motors.
Cargo Restraining System for Vehicles
A cargo restraining system for use in a trunk or cargo area of a vehicle includes at least one restraining unit. The restraining unit comprises a bottom panel, a face panel, and a back panel. The bottom panel and the face panel are hingedly attached together along adjacent edges. The back panel is hingedly attached to face panel along the edge opposite that to which the bottom panel is hingedly attached. The restraining unit can be erected from a flat configuration wherein the three panels are substantially coplanar with each other to an upstanding operational or functional configuration. In the upstanding configuration, the bottom panel sits on a surface, the face panel is pivoted upwardly to extend vertically from the surface, and the back panel is hinged downwardly at an angle and its free edge is attached to the free edge of the bottom panel. The erected restraining unit thus forms a right triangular shape when viewed from an end. Additional like restraining units can be hingedly snapped together end-to-end to form a chain of restraining units. Hook-type fasteners can be formed on the underside of the bottom panel for securement to a carpeted surface or a non-slip coating can be provided for securement to a smooth surface. When in an upstanding configuration, one or more restraining units can be positioned on a vehicle surface adjacent to items of cargo such as boxes or grocery bags. A chain of restraining units can be formed into straight, curved, or serpentine shapes to conform to the footprint of cargo in a trunk or cargo space.
CARGO BAR RETAINER
An apparatus and method for for securing objects to a transportation trailer wall. The apparatus comprises an elongate rigid member extending between first and second ends and a first E-Track connector at the first end of the elongate rigid member. The apparatus further comprises a second E-Track connector at the second end of the elongate rigid member and a collar slidably moveable along the elongate rigid member having a lock adapted to selectably lock the collar at a desired location therealong. The method comprises securing the apparatus to the trailer wall, locating at least one object to be secured between the elongate rigid member and the trailer wall, slideably positioning a collar along the elongate rigid member to secure the at least one object and engaging a lock on the collar to fix the location of the collar.
