TRUCK MOUNTING SYSTEM WITH TWO PIVOTAL A-ARMS
A mounting system for securing a container to a bed of a vehicle or other installation location includes a sidewall mounting bracket for mounting to a first sidewall of the bed. An arm body has a length dimension that is adjustable. A first joint pivotally attaches a first end of the arm body to the sidewall mounting bracket for pivotal movement relative to the first sidewall of the bed when the sidewall mounting bracket is mounted to the first sidewall of the bed. A second joint for attaching a second end of the arm body to the container.
VEHICLE CARGO RESTRAINT SYSTEM
A cargo restraint system includes a cargo conveyor system, which has a plurality of rollers and a cargo restraint. The cargo restraint includes an inner pawl rotatably attached to the cargo conveyor system and an outer pawl rotatably attached to the cargo conveyor system. A lever is rotatably attached to the cargo loading system. A mechanical linkage connects the lever to the outer pawl and to the inner pawl, the outer pawl and the inner pawl being controlled by movement of the lever through the mechanical linkage.
Method for transferring cargo from a cargo receiving portion of a vehicle, and vehicle for carrying out said method
According to a method for transferring a cargo from a cargo receiving portion of a vehicle onto a cargo take-up station, the vehicle is controlled by a vehicle control unit such that the vector of the velocity of the vehicle is modified immediately before, or upon its arrival at the cargo take-up station and the vehicle is oriented by the vehicle control unit and/or by at least one guide system positioned in the region of the cargo take-up station before the arrival of the vehicle at the cargo take-up station, such that the trajectory of the cargo that is moving away from the cargo receiving portion as a result of the modification in the velocity vector, ends at a receiving region of the cargo take-up station.
HIGH CAPACITY CARGO AND CONTAINER DOLLY
A high capacity cargo/container dolly. The cargo/container dolly includes retractable side stops that actively retract a roller linkage assembly upon retraction of the retractable side stops rather than relying on passive gravitational forces for the retraction. In some embodiments, the retractable side stops are configured to avoid hold up on the cargo during retraction. The retractable side stops may be coupled to a retraction mechanism that may be actuated from either side of the cargo/container dolly, as well as from one or both ends of the cargo/container dolly. The dolly may include aspects that accommodates dynamic loads that occur during transport to mitigate inadvertent retraction of the retractable side stops or spurious release of catch assemblies that retains cargo on the dolly. The dolly may also include self-locking roller assemblies that release only in the presence of cargo, and deck modules that protect the deck roller from road spray contamination.
Bendable cargo securement device and method
A compact bendable cargo securement device for stabilizing unrestrained items in the bed or cargo area of a pick-up truck or storage area in a motorhome or recreational trailer is disclosed. It may also be used as a stabilizer doing woodwork and other jobs that require stability of the work platform. The device will conform to any surface and has the ability to wrap around objectsboth regular and irregular shapedand will hold them and keep them from shifting. As disclosed, the bendable cargo securement device is composed of a flexible tube loaded with filler material when used and deployed for securing objects. The flexible tube is preferably fabricated from rubber or any material allowing sufficient flexibility for the cargo securement device to wrap around items while having suitable strength to avoid puncture/destruction from deployment. Each end of the device requires a closure to contain the filler material.
APPARATUS FOR MOVING AND SECURING ARTICLES IN A PICKUP TRUCK CARGO BED
An apparatus is provided for moving and securing articles in a pickup truck cargo bed. The pickup truck cargo bed may have opposing sidewalls, cab wall, tailgate, and floor. The apparatus comprises a plurality of tracks configured to connect to the pickup truck cargo bed, the plurality of tracks extending substantially along a longitudinal length of the pickup truck cab and defining a channel. A push plate slidably is mounted to the plurality of tracks with a movement member, and the push plate configured to stand perpendicular to the floor. The apparatus also comprises an actuator in mechanical communication with the push plate, the actuator configured to move the push plate to a desired position in the pickup truck cargo bed. An adjustable enclosed area is defined by the push plate, opposing side walls, and tail gate.
LOAD SECURING SYSTEM FOR FLAT-BED VEHICLES SUCH AS A TRUCK
The present invention discloses a load securing system for flat-deck vehicles. The system includes a first member configured to provide a stable resting surface to load mounted over a flat-deck of the vehicle. The system further includes a second member having an elongated flat body, and two lugs fixedly configured underside in proximity to its two ends and extending downward. The second member is configured to act as a divider to separate rows of loads mounted over the flat-deck of the vehicle. The system further includes a third member having an elongated body embodying a track system, and a pair of slidable members each slidably configured over the track system of the elongated body and slide in opposing direction. The third member acts as a divider to separate rows of loads mounted over the flat-deck of the vehicle and retain the load mounted between the pair of slidable members.
Free-standing holder device
A freestanding holder device to secure cargo items of different sizes or orientation in different types of cargo area comprises a horizontal base section and a wall section extending from one side of the base section, wherein the wall section comprises at least one vertical indentation forming a recess in the wall section and the underside of the base section comprises a high friction surface. The high friction surface comprises a rubber or elastomer material.
MODULAR CARGO SLIDER
The present invention relates to a modular cargo slider for easy modular assembly of at least one platform and custom configuration by the user. Optional dividers allow for the containment of a cargo on a top surface of the platform during transport and can be optionally adjoined to at least one platform, an end cap or a spacer as needed by the user. In some embodiments, the dividers include at least one indentation for assisting the user in securing the cargo on top of the top surface of the platform of at least one platform. In some embodiments, at least one end cap and at least one spacer allow for further custom configurations be the user.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING ITEMS SLIDING IN CARGO AREA OF VEHICLE
An assembly for preventing items sliding around a cargo area of a vehicle. The assembly includes a plurality of first members, where a length of the first members is based on a length of the cargo area. The assembly also includes a plurality of second members connected to an inner side of the plurality of first members to couple the first members together. The assembly also includes a plurality of third members with a first end connected to an outer side of the plurality of first members. A length of the third members is selected so that a second end of the third members is configured to engage an inner side surface of the cargo area. A method is also provided for preventing items sliding around the cargo area of the vehicle.
