Truck mounting system with two pivotal a-arms
A mounting system for securing a container to a bed of a vehicle or other installation location includes a sidewall mounting bracket for mounting to a first sidewall of the bed. An arm body has a length dimension that is adjustable. A first joint pivotally attaches a first end of the arm body to the sidewall mounting bracket for pivotal movement relative to the first sidewall of the bed when the sidewall mounting bracket is mounted to the first sidewall of the bed. A second joint for attaching a second end of the arm body to the container.
Load hauler
A mat hauler, comprising a fifth wheel tractor having a chassis and a fifth wheel hitch. A mat elevating mechanism is secured to the chassis. A frame is supported by the mat elevating mechanism. The frame provides a minimum of four mat contacting elements. The mat elevating mechanism may be pneumatic.

Surface-mountable locking device
A surface-mountable locking system is designed to secure an item to a surface via one or more mechanical engagements that are protected from tampering by encompassing the engagements point(s) within cavity-defining surfaces. In one example the mechanical engagement is effected by placing a pin in a box and securing the pin in the box using a bolt and the tampering protection is effected by the surfaces that define the box. In another example, the mechanical engagement is effected by placing a surface-attached anchor within a cavity and securing the anchor relative to the cavity using a bolt and the tampering protection is effected by the surfaces that define the cavity. The securing bolt may be, for example, the bolt of locking mechanism, a threaded bolt to engage a receptacle having complementary threads, or a smooth bolt to engage a receptacle having a shape complementary to that of the bolt.

CONTAINER MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
A mounting system for securing a container to a bed of a vehicle includes a mounting bracket that is adjustable in its length dimension. A first connection joint is for attaching the first end portion to a sidewall of the bed. A second end portion has at least one foot portion for engaging a floor surface of the bed. A second connection joint is for attaching a central portion of the mounting bracket to the container. The bracket is adjustable to a length dimension sufficient to engage the foot portion of the bracket to the bottom surface of the bed, while the bracket is attached to the side wall of the bed through the first connection joint.
TRANSPORTER ASSEMBLY
Methods and assemblies for securing objects in position for transportation. In an example, two or more coupling bars secure to at least one frame, and in some examples two frames, in a pivoting fashion to allow an object to be secured therebetween for transport. In another example first and second holders, coupled together in pivoting fashion, are provided for receiving and holding an object for transportation. The apparatuses may find particular use for the transport of flat screen televisions and other video displays. Methods for using such a device are also disclosed.
APPARATUSES FOR SECURING CONTAINERS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method of securing containers, comprising: connecting a first strap end connector of a tension strap to a first strap connector fitting on a first container, wherein: the first strap end connector comprises a first hook portion configured to engage a first recess in the first strap connector fitting, and the first strap end connector comprises a first protrusion configured to engage a second recess in the first strap connector fitting; connecting a second strap end connector of the tension strap to a second strap connector fitting on a second container, wherein: the second strap end connector comprises a first hook portion configured to engage a first recess in the second strap connector fitting, and the first strap end connector comprises a first protrusion configured to engage a second recess in the second strap connector fitting; and tensioning the tension strap.
Bendable Cargo Securement Device and Method
A compact bendable cargo securement device for stabilizing unrestrained items in the bed or cargo area of a pick-up truck or storage area in a motorhome or recreational trailer is disclosed. It may also be used as a stabilizer doing woodwork and other jobs that require stability of the work platform. The device will conform to any surface and has the ability to wrap around objects—both regular and irregular shaped—and will hold them and keep them from shifting. As disclosed, the bendable cargo securement device is composed of a flexible tube loaded with filler material when used and deployed for securing objects. The flexible tube is preferably fabricated from rubber or any material allowing sufficient flexibility for the cargo securement device to wrap around items while having suitable strength to avoid puncture/destruction from deployment. Each end of the device requires a closure to contain the filler material.
