The apparatus comprises an elongate rigid member extending between first and second ends and a first E-Track connector at the first end of the elongate rigid member. The apparatus further comprises a second E-Track connector at the second end of the elongate rigid member and a collar slidably moveable along the elongate rigid member having a lock adapted to selectably lock the collar at a desired location therealong. The method comprises securing the apparatus to the trailer wall, locating at least one object to be secured between the elongate rigid member and the trailer wall, slideably positioning a collar along the elongate rigid member to secure the at least one object and engaging a lock on the collar to fix the location of the collar.

Each bracket can include a generally ring-shaped circular, planar body having a diameter sized to substantially match the outer diameter of the circular end of the barrel. Six movable couplings can extend radially outwardly from the peripheral sidewall of the bracket body at angularly spaced apart, but adjustable locations. The axial positions of the couplings can be reciprocatingly staggered so that couplings extending from adjacent brackets can overlap and interconnect to one another, thereby conjoining the brackets across the array. Hooked cables can secure the vehicle to the couplings.

The cargo system secures at least one steel coil for transport on a flatbed carrier. Each coil sits on movable cargo supports coupled on top of a base with support beams. Support brackets couple the support beams to anchoring beams that are coupled to the flatbed carrier. Once a coil is loaded, arms with adjacent upper and lower segments connected by cross members pivot on arm mounts to make contact with the coil. The arms adjust by lengthening or shortening based on the size of the coil. Tethers pass through anchor brackets and over the coil to hold the coil to the base. The arms apply pressure to the coil based on the tension of tethers that extend from the ends of the arms and couple to tethering brackets coupled to the frame of the carrier.

The first tip end transport frame is replaceable with a second end transport frame that increase the inter-blade spacing, or with a tip end or a root end distance piece.
