In a lighting device for a vehicle, a light guide assembly (10) for guiding the light emitted by a light source comprises a head portion (12) with decoupling elements (18) for decoupling at least some of the coupled-in light, and also a feed line portion (11), which comprises a coupling-in region (15) for the coupling-in of light from a light source and by means of which light coupled in in this way is fed to the head portion (12). The coupling-in region (15) has a first securing arrangement (13) with at least one element protruding transversely to the longitudinal axis of the coupling-in region (15), for example a pin, by means of which the coupling-in region (15) is insertable into a first securing location in the lighting device and lockable there. The head portion (12) has a second securing arrangement (14) for securing the head portion (12) in the lighting device.

VEHICLE LIGHT

A vehicle light, wherein light to be emitted by a base light source which is offset with respect to an emission surface is first conducted radially outwards in targeted manner and is then reflected in an axial direction with respect to the emission surface, uses light-conducting bodies, which are spaced apart from a deflection mirror, or a light-conducting space, which extends first radially and then axially, to obtain as light-intensive, uniform and directional light emissions as possible.

VEHICLE LAMP

A vehicle light includes a base having a compartment. At least one first light emitter and a plurality of second light emitters are disposed on a circuit board mounted in the compartment. A reflective seat is disposed in the compartment and is located in front of the first and second light emitters. The reflective seat includes at least one hollow portion aligned with the at least one first light emitter and at least one first reflective face substantially surrounding the at least one hollow portion. The at least one first light emitter is configured to emit light rays which are reflected forwards by the at least one first reflective face. A lens includes a light incoming face and a light outgoing face. The plurality of second light emitters is configured to emit light rays which are incident to the light incoming face and which exits via the light outgoing face.

Auxiliary spare tire brake light for vehicles

An auxiliary spare tire brake light is provided for a vehicle having a spare tire with a rim that has spokes and openings and that is secured on lugs at the back of the vehicle. The auxiliary spare tire brake light includes a support disc having a central portion and a peripheral portion. An array of openings is formed in the central portion of the support disc and the openings are positioned to fit over the lugs at the back of the vehicle for positioning the support on the lugs behind the rim of the spare tire. An annular race extends around the peripheral portion of the support and a plurality of lights in the form of LEDs is disposed in the race. The LEDs are arrayed in a closely spaced substantially continuous array around the support to form a ring of LEDs. A wire and electrical connector electrically connect the plurality of LEDs to the brake circuitry of the vehicle so that the LEDs are illuminated when the vehicle's brake pedal is depressed. A first portion of the ring of LEDs align with and project light directly through the openings in the rim of the spare tire to be seen from behind as an indication that the vehicle is braking. A second portion of the ring of LEDs aligns behind the spokes and reflects off of the backs of the spokes to silhouette the rim against the glow of the reflected light.

REAR LIGHT UNIT OF A VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE LIGHTING OF SAID REAR LIGHT UNIT
