Auxiliary Spare Tire Brake Light For Vehicles
An auxiliary spare tire brake light is provided for a vehicle having a spare tire with a rim that has spokes and openings and that is secured on lugs at the back of the vehicle. The auxiliary spare tire brake light includes a support disc having a central portion and a peripheral portion. An array of openings is formed in the central portion of the support disc and the openings are positioned to fit over the lugs at the back of the vehicle for positioning the support on the lugs behind the rim of the spare tire. An annular race extends around the peripheral portion of the support and a plurality of lights in the form of LEDs is disposed in the race. The LEDs are arrayed in a closely spaced substantially continuous array around the support to form a ring of LEDs. A wire and electrical connector electrically connect the plurality of LEDs to the brake circuitry of the vehicle so that the LEDs are illuminated when the vehicle's brake pedal is depressed, A first portion of the ring of LEDs align with and project light directly through the openings in the rim of the spare tire to be seen from behind as an indication that the vehicle is braking. A second portion of the ring of LEDs aligns behind) the spokes and reflects off of the backs of the spokes to silhouette the rim against the glow of the reflected light.
VEHICULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE
Provided is a vehicular illumination device including a light emitting portion mounted on a headlight, and capable of outputting light from the light emitting portion forwardly of a vehicle with enhanced design and enhanced visibility. An illumination device is provided on a front portion of a vehicle, and includes a headlight, a light guide, and an outer glass. The outer glass is configured such that a perimeter portion and a front surface portion are integrally formed. The perimeter portion includes an incident portion on a middle portion in a length direction of the light guide, the incident portion allowing incidence of light output from the light guide. The light guide is disposed in proximate to the incident portion. Light incident from the light guide to the perimeter portion is guided forwardly, while repeating reflection on inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the perimeter portion, and output forwardly from an output portion formed on the front side.
VEHICULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE
Provided is a vehicular illumination device capable of protecting a second light source portion from moisture and dust, and achieving enhanced design, while outputting light on the outside of a housing. The illumination device is provided on a front portion of a vehicle. The illumination device includes an outer glass, a headlight accommodated inside the housing including the outer glass, a second light source portion and a first light guide accommodated inside the housing, and a second light guide disposed outside the housing. An end surface of the first light guide, and an end surface of the second light guide are disposed to face each other via an interposing portion of the outer glass interposed between these end surface portions. At least a part of light output from the second light source portion is incident from the first light guide to the second light guide through the interposing portion.
VEHICULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE
Provided is a vehicular illumination device capable of increasing a degree of design freedom in designing a vehicle having enhanced design. An illumination device is provided on a front portion of a vehicle. The illumination device includes a headlight, a light guide, and an outer glass. The light guide has an annular shape in such a way as to surround a periphery of the headlight. The outer glass includes a front surface portion for covering a front surface of the headlight, and a perimeter portion for covering a periphery of the headlight. The light guide is disposed along an imaginary plane inclined with respect to a tubular axis of the perimeter portion.
Vehicle light
A vehicle light includes a light compartment, a first light emission unit, and a second light emission unit. The first light emission unit is arranged in the light compartment and includes a first light emission body and a light guide body configured to emit light by internally reflecting light from the first light emission body. The second light emission unit is arranged in the light compartment and includes a second light emission body and a reflector configured to reflect light from the second light emission body in a vehicle forward direction. The light guide body is arranged outward with respect to a vehicle widthwise direction in the light compartment, and a light emission portion of the light guide body at least partially overlaps a path of light reflected by the reflector.
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp includes a lighting unit and a lens unit. The lighting unit includes pluralities of first and second light-emitting members. The lens unit includes a dispersing lens, a cover lens having a dispersing portion and a concentrating portion, and a shielding layer that has a light-transmissible section. Light emitted by the first light-emitting members passes through the dispersing lens, the light-transmissible section of the shielding layer, and the dispersing portion of the cover lens to produce a dispersing light pattern, and light emitted by the second light-emitting members passes through the concentrating portion of the cover lens to produce a concentrated light pattern.
Adjustable Lighting
A system may have a support structure that separates an exterior region from an interior region. The system may include a lighting system with interior and/or exterior lights with adjustable diffusers. An interior light may be used as a task light, a cabin light, a sensor indicator light, or a trim light. Adjustments to the adjustable diffusers can be used to adjust the angular spread of emitted light for operation in different lighting modes.
