LIGHT ASSEMBLY

A light assembly includes a first carrier and a second carrier. The assembly also includes a first light module attached to the first carrier such that the first carrier and the first light module are movable in unison between a use position in which the first light module is operable to emit light and a storage position in which the first light module does not operate to emit light. The assembly further includes a second light module attached to the second carrier such that the second carrier and the second light module are movable in unison between a first position when the first light module is in the storage position and a second position when the first light module is in the use position. The second light module is operable to emit light when in at least one of the first and second positions.

The assembly includes a mount configured to couple to the hitch of a vehicle. Additionally, a light unit is configured to illuminate the defined area. An extension device is in communication with the mount and configured to elevate and orient the light unit. A power element is configured to supply the light unit with electrical energy. The portable lighting assembly is coupled directly to a vehicle.

Toggle latch for sequentially extended mechanical mast

A telescoping mast having a latch assembly includes a latch body mountable to a first tube section, a latch mechanism supported by the latch body, a toggle mechanism operatively connected to the latch mechanism, and a latch plate mountable to a second tube section. The latch mechanism includes a pawl member pivotably between an engaged position for interlocking with a corresponding recess in the latch plate to thereby restrict axial movement between the first and second tube sections, and a disengaged position allowing relative axial movement between the first and second tube sections. The toggle mechanism is movable between an over-center locked configuration corresponding to the engaged position of the latch mechanism and an unlocked configuration corresponding to the disengaged position of the latch member.

An active air skirt device, and an active air skirt device for a vehicle are provided. The active air skirt device includes a housing; an actuator installed in the housing; a skirt installed in an internal space of the housing and configured to reciprocate vertically; a lamp arranged between the housing and the skirt in the internal space to reciprocate vertically; and a drive link connected to the skirt and the lamp. The drive link transmits power from the actuator, and selectively moves the skirt or both the skirt and the lamp depending on the rotation direction of the drive link.

Lighting Device for a Motor Vehicle Headlamp

A lighting device for a motor vehicle headlamp, including: a light module, a movable lower aperture element and a movable upper aperture element, a moving device for transferring the aperture elements between a closed position (P1) and an open position (P2) while maintaining spatial alignment of the aperture elements, and a frame on which the moving device is arranged. The lighting device has an alignment device for aligning the aperture elements relative to one another. The alignment device has an alignment element configured to engage in a guide element when the aperture elements are transferred from P2 to P1, so that the alignment element can be guided by the guide element into an end position in the guide element. The alignment element in P1 is connected to the guide element in a manner that the aperture elements are secured against movement along and transverse to the main direction in P1.
