Construction machine with lighting arrangement
A construction machine in the form of a road paver or feeder vehicle includes a chassis and a hopper, wherein at least one lighting arrangement is mounted on the chassis. The lighting arrangement comprises at least one light source, and the lighting arrangement is configured to illuminate an area in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel. The construction machine further has an object detection system for detecting an object located in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel, and the illumination emitted by the lighting arrangement can be changed as a function of the detection of an object by means of the object detection system.
Lamp apparatus of vehicle and control method thereof
Provided are a lamp apparatus of a vehicle and a control method thereof. The lamp apparatus includes: a first integrated lamp installed at either the front or rear of a vehicle and having a plurality of lamps, one or more of which being turned on according to a lighting mode; a second integrated lamp installed at a position different from the installation position of the first integrated lamp and having a plurality of lamps, one or more of which being turned on; a travel direction input unit that receives a travel direction; a driving signal input unit that receives driving signals for turning on and off the lamps; and a lamp control unit that receives the travel direction to set the lighting modes of the first and second integrated lamps, and drives one or more of the plurality of lamps included in each of them.
ROAD SURFACE DRAWING SYSTEM, LAMP SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A road surface drawing system includes a road surface drawing lamp that is provided in a vehicle and illuminates a road surface with a beam, and a controller that controls the road surface drawing lamp and draws, with a beam BM, a pattern PTN on the road surface ahead of the vehicle. The controller draws a pattern PTN instructing the vehicle to stop if a signal state of an upcoming traffic signal is a red light.
Managing recreational vehicles and accessories
A vehicle is electrically connected to one or more accessories. The vehicle includes at least one controller that may be configured to identify the accessory based on accessory identification information. The controller may also be configured to provide one or more commands to control an operation of the accessory.
LEVER OPERATION DEVICE
A lever operation device includes an operation lever which rotates integrally with a steering wheel of a vehicle and receives operations at least in upward and downward directions and around which a predetermined region is set so as to prevent the operation lever from contacting with a leg of a user seated in a driver's seat when the steering wheel is rotated to a maximum steering angle, and an operation portion that is arranged on the operation lever so as not to be located out of the region and includes plural operating positions each assigned an executable function.
Illumination system of a motor vehicle for shortening a illuminating distribution on a carriageway, a headlight system and a motor vehicle comprising the same, and associated method
The present disclosure relates to an illumination system for a motor vehicle for illuminating a carriageway section. The aim is to illuminate the carriageway section in such a way that irritations for other road users are avoided as far as possible. The illumination system includes an information system for providing or detecting a stopping point, an illumination device for projecting a calculated light distribution onto the carriageway section, and a control unit for calculating a light distribution, wherein the calculated light distribution is a one-piece area. The one-piece area begins from a predetermined starting section, which constitutes a proximal lighting section relative to the motor vehicle and does not extend beyond the stopping point. This leads to a shortening of a lane light of the motor vehicle, so that said lane light does not illuminate the lane beyond the stopping point. This is advantageous in particular for crossroads.
Adaptive vehicle headlight
Example adaptive vehicle headlights are disclosed. An example system includes a photodetector, an illumination source configured to generate first light during a first operating mode, a spatial light modulator (SLM), and a dichroic filter optically coupled to the illumination source and to the SLM, wherein the dichroic filter is configured to direct the first light to the SLM, and the SLM is configured to direct second light to the dichroic filter during a second operating mode, wherein the dichroic filter is configured to direct the second light having a first color to the photodetector, and direct the first light during the first operating mode.
Input lighting signal optimization device and method
An input lighting signal optimization device includes a multiplex circuit configured to select and output a first LED lamp lighting signal or a second LED lamp lighting signal, and a MICOM configured to output a driving signal for driving a first LED lamp or a second LED lamp after receiving an output signal of the multiplex circuit through one input port and detecting a wake-up signal included in the output signal of the multiplex circuit to switch to an activation mode.
METHOD FOR MANAGING IMAGE DATA AND AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING DEVICE
The invention provides a method for managing image data in an automotive lighting device. This method includes providing a first image pattern, which is sent to a light module, and a second image pattern. A difference pattern is generated by subtracting the second image pattern from the first image pattern and this difference pattern is sent to the light module, so the light module is able to reconstruct the second image pattern from the data of the first image pattern and the difference pattern. The invention also provides an automotive lighting device configured for the method.
HEADLAMP FOR A VEHICLE
A headlamp for a vehicle, having: an LED unit for providing a headlamp beam and a control unit for controlling the LED unit. To this end, provision is made according to the invention that the LED unit has a coding resistance that is designed to identify the headlamp as a left headlamp or as a right headlamp.
