SEARCHLIGHT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE POST
A searchlight system for mounting to a vehicle, for example on the A-pillar, without requiring modification to structural frame components. The system comprises a mounting assembly which is installed on the vehicle and a searchlight assembly which is mounted to the mounting assembly. Searchlight assemblies with different optical devices can be modularly exchanged with respect to the same mounting assembly installed on the vehicle. Also disclosed is a method for installing such systems. Other aspects are directed to heat dissipation and ingress protection for the searchlight assembly, as well as a pan-tilt mechanism with symmetrical drivetrains.
Vehicle light bracket assembly
A light bracket assembly includes a mounting bracket, and a hollow member. The mounting bracket is configured to be connected to a sport bar of a vehicle. The mounting bracket includes a substantially planar upper member and a substantially planar lower member. A plurality of elongated slots is disposed in the upper member. Each of the plurality of elongated slots is configured to receive a light. The hollow member is configured to be connected to the mounting bracket. The hollow member is disposed between the upper member and the lower member of the mounting bracket.
Expandable light towers and methods of using
Expandable light towers suitable for mounting to a mobile unit, and methods for their use. Such an expandable light tower includes a telescoping assembly comprising first and second telescoping units. The second telescoping unit is telescopically received in the first telescoping unit to configure the expandable light tower to have retracted and extended configurations. The light tower further includes a light-mounting assembly mounted to the second telescoping unit and a mounting assembly coupled to the first telescoping unit and adapted to mount the telescoping assembly to a hitch of a mobile unit. The mounting assembly enables the telescoping assembly to pivot about a transverse axis.
Multi-function car-mounted charger
A multi-function car-mounted charger comprises a main housing, a lighting housing, a power input portion, a main circuit, a rechargeable battery, a magnet, a power output portion and a lighting portion; the power input portion, the main circuit, the rechargeable battery, the magnet, and the power output portion are disposed in the main housing; the lighting portion is disposed in the lighting housing; the power input portion, the rechargeable battery, the power output portion, and the lighting portion are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; the power input portion comprises a first electrode and a second electrode, both of which are electrically connected with the main circuit respectively; and the first electrode is provided with a cone body. The car-mounted charger is diverse in function and may be attracted onto a car shell through the magnet.
Systems, vehicles, and methods for adjusting lighting of a towing hitch region of a vehicle
A system for adjusting lighting of a towing hitch region of a vehicle includes processor, user input device communicatively coupled to the processor, and light source comprising actuator communicatively coupled to the processor. The light source are configured to selectively illuminate the towing hitch region of the vehicle. The system further includes memory module communicatively coupled to the processor that stores logic that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to receive user instructions from the user input device; and adjust an angle of illumination of the light source with the actuator to illuminate the towing hitch region based on the user instructions.
AUXILIARY LIGHT
A lighting assembly that provides integrated forward projecting light and side lighting to give a user a broader field of light. The assembly also incorporates daytime running lights to increase visibility during the day and night. The lighting assembly includes a cooling system suitable for dissipating the heat generated by light sources and electrical components of the assembly.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A light assembly is provided for attachment to a surface of a vehicle with a power source. The light assembly comprises a light head including a light, a light head terminal in electrical communication with the light, and a first mounting structure. The light assembly further comprises a first base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The first base includes a second mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the first base. The first base also includes a conductor configured to couple to the power source of the vehicle. The first base also includes a first base terminal in electrical communication with the conductor and configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the first base. The light assembly further comprises a second base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The second base is different than the first base. The second base includes a third mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the second base. The second base also includes a battery and a second base terminal in electrical communication with the battery. The second base terminal is configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the second base.
Method and apparatus for vehicular light fixtures
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
Light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle
A light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle. The light assembly includes a vehicle base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle and a light head coupled to the vehicle base. The light head is configured to rotate relative to the vehicle base about a first axis and about a second axis that is different from the first axis. The light head is configured to rotate about the first and second axes at a first speed in response to a first user input, and to rotate about the first and second axes at a second speed that is different from the first speed in response to a second user input.
CUSTOMIZATION OF A ROAD MARKING FUNCTION
A method for customizing at least one parameter of a road marking function of a lighting system of a motor vehicle, the method including the following steps: driving the lighting system on the basis of an initial value of at least one parameter of a road marking function; displaying a graphical interface for controlling the parameter of the road marking function; upon reception of a command to modify the parameter, adjusting the driving of the road marking function in real time on the basis of the modification command.
