The present invention relates to a lighting system 200 of an automotive vehicle comprising: —an image capture device (205) configured to acquire an image (I) of a road (R) of travel of the vehicle, said road (R) comprising lanes marked on the road (110); —a lighting module (215) configured to project road markings on the road (120); wherein said lighting system (200) is configured to filter the projected road markings (120) on the road compared to the lanes marked (110) on the road.

SEARCHLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOVING A BEAM OF LIGHT EMITTED BY A SEARCHLIGHT ON A MOBILE PLATFORM AT A CONSTANT GROUND SPEED

Systems and methods for moving an illumination spot of a searchlight beam at a constant groundspeed. The method includes receiving state data comprising an attitude for the mobile platform. The method computes an elevation angle, theta, of the beam as a function of the attitude, an elevation actuator angle and a known mounting orientation for the searchlight. Responsive to receiving a searchlight control command from a user input device, the method determines a respective rate of change of theta, dtheta/dt, and rate of change of Psi, dPsi/dt, required to maintain the constant groundspeed of the illumination spot, as a function of the state data. The method updates theta responsive to the determined dtheta/dt and generates actuator control commands for an elevation actuator based thereon. The method updates Psi responsive to the determined dPsi/dt, and generates actuator control commands for an azimuth actuator based thereon.

IMPLEMENT RECOGNITION LIGHTING

Systems and methods for targeted illumination of an object coupled to a machine, such as an implement coupled to an agricultural vehicle, are disclosed. The systems and methods include sensing an area adjacent to the machine, determining whether an implement is present in the sensed area, and providing targeted illumination to the detected object while avoiding the provision of light to the area that is not occupied by the object.

SEARCHLIGHT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE POST

A searchlight system for mounting to a vehicle, for example on the A-pillar, without requiring modification to structural frame components. The system comprises a mounting assembly which is installed on the vehicle and a searchlight assembly which is mounted to the mounting assembly. Searchlight assemblies with different optical devices can be modularly exchanged with respect to the same mounting assembly installed on the vehicle. Also disclosed is a method for installing such systems. Other aspects are directed to heat dissipation and ingress protection for the searchlight assembly.

VEHICLE LIGHTING SYSTEM HAVING A SPOTLIGHT

A lighting system of a vehicle is provided herein. The lighting system includes a structure of the vehicle and a spotlight having a body coupled to the structure. A light assembly is disposed inside the body and is configured to project a light beam outwardly from the body. The operation of the light assembly and the directionality of the light beam is based on input from a remote device.

POLICE VEHICLE EXTERIOR LIGHT CONTROL

Systems and methods are disclosed for a police vehicle exterior light control. An example disclosed police vehicle includes first beacons positioned on a chassis of the police vehicle, second beacons positioned on a lightbar of the police vehicle, and a plurality of spotlights on the lightbar. The example police vehicle also includes a light control unit that tracks a location of wearable nodes associated with a police officer. Additionally, the light control unit illuminates the area around the police officer using selected ones of the plurality of spotlights.

LIGHTING SYSTEM HAVING POINTER DEVICE

A lighting system is provided herein. The lighting system includes a spotlight is mounted to a vehicle, a controller for operating the spotlight, and a pointer device for specifying an intended target. The controller aims the spotlight in the direction of the intended target based on input provided by the pointer device.

WORK VEHICLE

A work vehicle includes: a vehicle body that travels; a boom attached to the vehicle body to be vertically swingable; a work tool mounted to a front portion of the boom; a first illumination lamp that is disposed in the vehicle body and emits an illumination light forward; a second illumination lamp that is disposed in the boom and emits an illumination light toward the work tool; and an illumination controller that controls the first illumination lamp and the second illumination lamp, the illumination controller executing a lighting restriction of automatically turning off or dimming the first illumination lamp while the second illumination lamp is turned on.

AERIAL LIFT AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME

Disclosed is an aerial lift, including: a lower portion with members for ground connection; a lifting structure; a platform supported by the lifting structure; and a lighting system. The aerial lift includes a control console on the platform, whose position is variable relative to the ground connection members. The lighting devices are arranged on the lower portion of the aerial lift and/or on the lifting structure or the platform and selectively generate light beams directed towards the ground and the immediate environment of the aerial lift, including at least partially an area beyond the edge of the members for connecting to the ground. The light beams are directed towards four sides, consisting of two opposing pairs of sides, of the aerial lift regardless of the position of the control console relative to the members for connecting to the ground. Also disclosed is a method for implementing such an aerial lift.

Illumination apparatus having a coherent light source and diffraction optical device that has a plurality of diffraction zones and widens the width of the illumination zone

An illumination apparatus that illuminates an illumination zone having a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction is provided with a light source to emit a coherent light beam, and a diffraction optical device to diffract the coherent light beam incident from the light source. The diffraction optical device diffracts the incident coherent light beam so that a width of the illumination zone in the second direction gradually becomes wider along the first direction of the illumination zone from a nearer side to the diffraction optical device.
