MOUNT FOR INVERTED LIGHT
A mount for inverted light has a back, two spaced apart feet beneath the back, two tabs outwardly from the back, each tab having two pieces, an arcuate shroud opposite the back and an adjustment mechanism for the tabs. Opposite the back, the feet and tabs have a low friction surface limiting engagement of the mount with door glass. The adjustment mechanism includes knobs turning rack pinion gearing and knobs ratcheting one piece of a tab outwardly from the other. Beneath the shroud, the mount has two rests that receive a light attached to them aimed downward from the shroud. The mount has an elongated form for a generally centered position along the width of a door's window.
Surroundings Illumination Device for a Motor Vehicle
A surroundings illumination device for illuminating the ground in the surroundings of a motor vehicle contains a controller for controlling the illumination of the ground and a projection module which includes a light device having a plurality of illuminants and an array of projection optics, a respective projection optic containing an associated object structure and an associated projection lens. The array of projection optics includes a plurality of sub-arrays which can be separately illuminated with an illuminant of the light device allocated to the respective sub-array, as a result of which, a partial graphic is generated on the ground in the surroundings of the vehicle by projection of the associated object structures of the projection optics of the respective sub-array.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MULTI-ZONED VEHICLE WAKE UP
Systems and methods are provided for controlling power modes of a vehicle and for providing passive entry to the vehicle. Responsive to a determination that a device is within a first distance from the vehicle, a wake-up action of the vehicle is initiated. The wake-up action includes a central controller transitioning one or more electronic control units (ECUs) or at least one program module from a first state to a second state. Responsive to a determination that the device is within a second distance from the vehicle, a welcome action of the vehicle is initiated. The welcome action includes the central controller causing the one or more ECUs or the at least one program module of the vehicle to execute an action associated with the vehicle.
Removable safety bar for creating a remote safety visual device
A safety system includes a vehicle and a safety device. The safety device includes a first arm and a second arm. The safety device is moveable between a first position and a second position. When the safety device is in the first position, the first arm and the second arm are coupled to the vehicle. When the safety device is in the second position, the safety device is spaced a distance away from the vehicle.
Laser light safety guide
The laser light safety guide to assist in guiding a prime mover utilize for snowplowing including a laser that can be mounted within a cab of the prime mover and oriented to emit a visible laser beam directed through a transparent structure the prime mover. The laser light safety guide further comprises a shielding structure opaque to the visible laser beam that is trimmable or adjustable to enclose a space extending from a portion of the laser from which the visible laser beam is emitted to the transparent structure the prime mover. The shielding structure mitigates or contains reflection of the visible laser beam from an interior surface of the transparent structure.
Vehicle having exterior lighting control and method
A vehicle having controlled exterior lighting is provided including a plurality of lighting devices oriented on the exterior of the vehicle to illuminate areas proximate to the vehicle, a plurality of sensors located on the vehicle for sensing a user relative to the vehicle and generating sensed signals indicative of the sensed user, and a transceiver for communicating with another vehicle. The vehicle also includes a controller processing the sensed signals generated by the plurality of sensors, and detecting the user proximate to the vehicle and tracking movement of the user proximate to the vehicle, the controller further activating one or more of the plurality of exterior lighting devices to selectively illuminate areas that track the user and further communicating with the other vehicle to illuminate the user with lighting devices on the other vehicle.
VEHICULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE
There is provided a vehicular illumination device to be disposed on a ceiling portion in a vehicle passenger compartment includes: a left-row light source unit in which three or more light sources arranged side by side in a front-rear direction of the vehicle is disposed on a left side of a center in a width direction of the vehicle: and a right-row light source unit in which three or more light sources arranged in the front-rear direction of the vehicle is disposed on a right side of the center in the width direction of the vehicle. Optical paths of the light sources are set to be placed in a state where a light irradiation region of the left-row light source unit and a light irradiation region of the right-row light source unit partially overlap with each other on a floor surface in the vehicle passenger compartment.
WARNING SYSTEM FOR ROADSIDE OPERATIONS
A warning system for a work vehicle includes an arm mount attached to a side portion of the work vehicle above a head of a person standing on a ground surface adjacent to the side portion of the work vehicle, and an arm attached to the arm mount. The arm is movable from an arm transport position, where the arm is oriented inside a path of the work vehicle, to an arm operating position, where the arm extends laterally outward from the side portion of the work vehicle. A warning light is mounted on the arm and is visible to traffic approaching the work vehicle from a rear end of the work vehicle, and a work light on the arm shines downward on the operator to illuminate the person the oncoming traffic and to facilitate operation of controls.
ROAD SURFACE STATE DETECTION APPARATUS AND ROAD SURFACE STATE NOTIFICATION APPARATUS
A road surface state detection apparatus includes a light emitter, an optical sensor, and an electronic control unit. The light emitter is configured to project an image with visible light on a road surface below a side of a vehicle. The optical sensor is provided on the side of the vehicle and configured to receive reflected light from the projected image. The electronic control unit is configured to determine a state of the road surface based on the reflected light received by the optical sensor.
Apparatus for Side Projection Lamp of a Mobility Device
Proposed is an apparatus for a side projection lamp of a mobility device having a structure as described may secure rear lateral sight from opposite lateral sides of the mobility device and illuminate light of a specific image on a road surface or an outer surface of the mobility device, thereby being allowed to communicate with a driver. In addition, as an image transmitter configured to generate the specific image is installed on a vehicle body or a door side, a size of a side part configured to secure rear sight may be reduced.
