Vehicle alert device
A vehicle alert device (10) executes alert control of determining, when a target is detected in a periphery of an own vehicle (C1), within a set calculation period, whether the target is an alert-target object that does not include a stationary object, determining, when the target is an alert-target object, whether the alert-target object exists in a blind spot area (RL, RR) of a driver, and alerting the driver when the alert-target object exists in the blind spot area. The vehicle alert device avoids executing the alert control when a relative speed of the own vehicle with respect to the alert-target object at a time when the own vehicle overtakes the alert-target object is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value. The vehicle alert device sets the predetermined threshold value to a larger value and sets the set calculation period to a shorter value, when a travel speed of the own vehicle at the time when the own vehicle overtakes the alert-target object is equal to or higher than a predetermined speed, than the predetermined threshold value and the set calculation period at a time when the travel speed of the own vehicle is lower than the predetermined speed.
Rearview mirror with RGB indicator lamp
A rearview mirror with an RGB indicator lamp is provided, and belongs to the technical field of vehicle rearview mirrors. The rearview mirror includes a mirror shell and a mirror frame, and further includes a light module. The light module is installed inside the mirror shell, and a light-emitting panel of the light module is installed on the mirror frame. The light module is compact in structure, small in size and convenient to install on the rearview mirror. Meanwhile, the light-emitting panel is arranged on the mirror frame and integrated with the mirror frame, and the overall color is coordinated and unified.
Backlight unit for blind spot warning lighting
A backlight unit for blind spot warning lighting includes a printed circuit board (PCB) mounted with a light-emitting diode (LED), a bottom case having the PCB embedded on a lower portion thereof, and having an opened front surface, and a top case comprising a front plate covering a the front surface of the bottom case, and a guide protrusion formed to protrude backward from a rear surface of the front plate to guide the light from the LED to the front plate, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a backlight unit, which can uniformly emit light while unifying the number of reflection and diffusion layers, and be advantageous for applying a hot wire, thereby improving visibility.
Vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly with illumination module
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror reflective element and an illumination module that includes an illumination source and a freeformed lens optic. When the illumination source is operated to emit light, emitted light passes through the freeformed lens optic. The freeformed lens optic is configured such that, with the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly mounted at a side of a vehicle, light emitted by the illumination source that passes through the freeformed lens optic provides ground lighting that illuminates a ground region located at the side of the equipped vehicle. The ground lighting includes (a) ground illumination of the illuminated ground region and (b) within the ground illumination of the illuminated ground region, a logo formed by the freeformed lens optic. The logo formed by the freeformed lens optic has a light intensity greater than any light intensity of the ground illumination of the illuminated ground region.
VEHICLE SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR HAVING MEANS TO DISPLAY INFORMATION TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE
A vehicle side rear view mirror having means to display information is used to communicate with other individuals outside of the vehicle. The side rear view mirror assembly includes a base to connect it to the vehicle, a mirror case fixed to the base, at least one light source to display forward through a lens an emoticon or other symbol, and at least one controller to turn the assembly on. The assembly may also include a voice recording or other sound to communicate with other individuals outside of the vehicle. The controller, which is located remotely, could be pushed once or twice to turn on the light source. The light source could be used as a marker light. Alternatively, the controller could be an electrical interrupter controller which would cause the light source to flash so that the light source could be used as a turn signal or hazard lamp. Alternatively, the controller could be voice controlled. Alternatively, the controller could be gesture controlled.
