Rider's apparel assembly
A rider's apparel assembly for indicating turns includes a jacket that is configured to position over a torso and arms of a user. A power module and a plurality of first lights are coupled to the jacket. The first lights are positioned on and distributed between sleeves of the jacket. Each of a pair of controllers is positioned below an end of a respective sleeve proximate to a respective hand of the user. The controller is coupled to the power module and the first lights that are positioned on the respective sleeve. The controller is positioned to selectively couple the first lights to the power module to indicate the user's intent to execute a turn corresponding to the respective sleeve. A second light is reversibly couplable to the jacket and is operationally couplable to the power module. The second light is configured to render the user visible to others.
System for displaying information on interactive illuminated apparel and accessories
A system for displaying symbols, signals, or other information through light sources that are incorporated into the material of wearables, i.e., apparel or accessories. LEDs are incorporated into a garment to which a controller is attached to control the LEDs, and a battery is attached to power the electronic components. The garment is programmed with different patterns that can provide information to the wearer or to others, and is connected to a device, such as a cellular telephone, smartwatch, or activity band, that the wearer can use to control the light sources embedded in the garment.
CYCLING GARMENT WITH TURN INDICATING SYSTEM
A garment for cycling, having indicating lights associated with sleeves of the garment; first and second accelerometers provided on respective sleeves; and a controller configured to receive data from the accelerometers and determine from the date whether a wearer of the garment has raised an arm to indicate a maneuver. The controller is further configured to illuminate the appropriate indicating light depending on which arm has been raised, and to compare the data from the first and second accelerometers to filter out movements common to both the first and second accelerometers and determine when the sleeves are being moved independently of one another in a manner to indicate a turn.
MOTION DETECTION AND LIGHTING SYSTEM
A motion detection and lighting system to improve the visibility and safety of a person operating equipment while moving through space is disclosed herein. The motion detection and lighting system includes at least: a motion detection module, controller, and lighting system that are configured to be communicatively coupled to one another and attached to a person. The motion of the person is detected and the one or more lights in the lighting system are configured to be activated for illumination based at least in part on the motion of the person operating the equipment while traveling through space.
Signal Light
Signal light with several light sources, e.g. LEDs (1), in an X- or cross-shaped arrangement on an X- or cross-shaped support (2) with a transparent or translucent cover (3) on one side, the front side, whereby the support (2) including the cover (3) is arranged in a suitable x- or cross-shaped housing (4) which is open on one side, the front side, and consists of a soft-elastic natural or synthetic rubber material, e.g. a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE,TPV).
Safety device
Disclosed is a system for providing vehicle indicator lights, such as brake lights for a bicycle or motorcycle. The system may include at least one indicator light, a gyroscopic sensor, an accelerometer, a power supply, and a signal processing unit that receives inputs from the gyroscopic sensor and the accelerometer and activates an indicator light based on inputs from the sensors. Various algorithmic functions and other features may also be included in the system to make detection more robust and the make the system useable for a variety of different vehicle applications.
SMART SAFETY GARMENT WITH SIGNAL LIGHTS
A smart safety garment with signal lights includes a basic garment, at least a pair of turn signal lights embedded on the external surface of the basic garment, and an electronic assembly for the control. The management and monitoring of the smart safety garment includes a control unit, the at least a pair of turn signal lights being connected or connectable to the control unit. The electronic assembly further includes a braking sensor connected or connectable to the control unit and adapted to perceive a deceleration and to generate a corresponding braking signal intended to the control unit. The control unit is configured to power up at least a pair of turn signal lights according to the braking signal.
Bicycle Signaling System
A bicycle signaling system includes a bicycle that may be ridden. The bicycle a pair of brake handles and each of the brake handles is selectively manipulated to stop the bicycle. A jacket is provided and the jacket may be worn while riding the bicycle. A helmet is provided and the helmet may be worn while riding the bicycle. A signaling unit is provided and the signaling unit is coupled to the bicycle. The signaling unit is in communication with each of the brake handles such that the signaling unit is turned on when the brake handles are manipulated. A lighting unit is coupled to the jacket to selectively emit light thereby facilitating the lighting unit to communicate a stop signal, a right turn signal and a left turn signal. The lighting unit is in electrical communication with the signaling unit.
Projection system for smart ring visual output
A system for displaying information indicative of driving conditions, to a driver, using a smart ring are disclosed. An exemplary system includes a smart ring with a ring band having a plurality of surfaces including an inner surface, an outer surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The system further includes a processor, configured to obtain data from a communication module within the ring band, or from one or more sensors disposed within the ring band. The obtained data are representative of information indicative of one or more driving conditions to be displayed to the driver. The smart ring also includes a projector module display disposed on at least one of the plurality of surfaces, and configured to present information indicative of the one or more driving conditions.
WEARABLE WIRELESS ELECTRONIC SIGNALING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a wearable garment for the hand, wrist, and/or forearm with an embedded array of lights; one or more micro processing units; one or more touch or pressure activated switches, buttons, or toggles; one or more motion sensing mechanisms; and one or more wireless transmission components which is capable of receiving and transmitting information to a mobile computing device. A wireless transmission device is also disclosed which is attached or embedded in a vehicle connected to the turn signaling system. The mobile computing device such as a smartphone or GPS unit tracks the wearer's location and route and transmits a signal to the wearable garment when a turn approaches causing haptic feedback vibration to the wearer and activation of the embedded lights on the appropriate side. The wearable garment also transmits and receives signals from the wireless transmission device in the vehicle which activates or deactivates the turn signals on the vehicle when the wearable garment's lights and haptic feedback mechanisms are activated or deactivated, and reciprocally the lights and haptic feedback systems on the wearable garment when the turn signal on the vehicle is activated or deactivated. The wearable garment signaling system may be activated by the user's hand/arm motions, by actuation of embedded switches, buttons, or toggles, or by signal from the mobile computing device.
