Device combining stop lamps and cargo lamps
A lighting device for a motor vehicle, the lighting device including a vehicle stop-lamp assembly and a cargo-lamp assembly. The lighting device includes a common lens that is configured, on the one hand, to form at least one stop-lamp light beam and, on the other hand, to form at least one cargo-lamp light beam. It furthermore includes a first group of light sources that are configured to emit stop-lamp light beams and a second group of light sources that are configured to emit cargo-lamp light beams, the light sources of the first group and of the second group being arranged on a common electronic holder.
INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASSES, LAMINATED GLASS, AND AUTOMOBILE
Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass that is excellent in unity of appearance. An interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has a first colored part including a part located on one end side of the interlayer film, and a second colored part including a part located on the other end side of the interlayer film, the first colored part has a first gradation part where visible light transmittance increases from the one end side toward the other end side of the interlayer film, the first gradation part forms a tip of the first colored part on the other end side of the interlayer film, the second colored part has a second gradation part where visible light transmittance increases from the other end side toward the one end side of the interlayer film, the second gradation part forms a tip of the second colored part on the one end side of the interlayer film, and the first gradation part and the second gradation part exist in a specific positional relationship.
Rear lamp apparatus of vehicle
A rear lamp apparatus of a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a light source that emits light having a first wavelength band, a light filter disposed with a first side facing an exterior and a second side facing an interior, that reflects light having the first wavelength band, and transmits light having a second wavelength band that is different from the first wavelength band. A light diffraction element is disposed to receive light emitted from the light source and changes a transmission path of incident light to direct. The light emitted is transmitted to the first side of the light filter by the light diffraction element and is reflected to be directed toward the exterior of the vehicle to prevent the transmission to the interior of the vehicle. Accordingly, a rear lamp is turned on at a side of rear glass and exterior and interior visual fields are improved.
Multifunction radar based detection system for a vehicle liftgate
A detection system and method of operating the detection system are provided. The system includes a power supply unit and at least one sensor for sensing at least one of an object and a motion. A communication unit is electrically coupled to the power supply unit for communicating with a plurality of vehicle system controllers. A microprocessor is operable in a plurality of modes and electrically coupled to the power supply unit and the at least one sensor and the communication unit. The microprocessor is configured to determine which of the plurality of modes should be active based on communication with the vehicle system controllers and to receive and process the data from the at least one sensor. The microprocessor is also configured to initiate movement of the closure panel in response to processing the data corresponding to the at least one of the object and the motion.
WINDOW MOUNTED LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A lighting assembly includes a circuit board substrate having first and second conductive traces, a light emitting electrical device, and a pair of electrical terminals interconnected to the light emitting electrical device by the first and second conductive traces. The pair of electrical terminals are configured to mechanically secure the lighting assembly to a pair of corresponding electrical terminals mounted on a panel. The pair of electrical terminals are further configured to electrically connect the light emitting electrical device to third and fourth conductive circuit traces disposed on a surface of the panel.
AUTOMOTIVE WARNING STROBE ASSEMBLY
An automotive warning strobe assembly for alerting an observer that a vehicle is reversing includes a housing that is coupled to a rear deck of a vehicle. In this way the housing is visible to an observer behind the vehicle. A plurality of strobe lights is each coupled to the housing for emitting light outwardly from the housing. Each of the strobe lights is electrically coupled to a reverse gear circuit of the vehicle. Thus, each of the strobe lights is turned on when the reverse gear circuit is actuated. In this way the observer behind the vehicle is alerted that the vehicle is reversing.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING VEHICLE REAR MODULE, VEHICLE BACK DOOR, VEHICLE REAR MODULE, AND VEHICLE MODULE
A method for producing a vehicle rear module that includes: a clear member monolithically including a lamp section and a window section; and a colored member for shielding at least part of a vehicle interior from the exterior. The method for producing the vehicle rear module comprises: a step for injecting a transparent resin from a single resin injection hole into a first cavity to form the clear member; and a step for injecting a colored resin from a plurality of resin injection holes into a second cavity to form the colored member.
Safety alert system for postal and delivery vans and trucks
This is a safety alert system for delivery vans, trucks, and carriers for the postal service and delivery industry. It includes warning light devices to regulate traffic with electrically controlled luminous elements as a supplemental light display. It aims to provide the postal vehicle a manner disposed to safely transport and deliver mail. High illumination lights, safety strips and text or visual messaging boards are located on the rear of the postal vans. Strobe action of the lights is an alternative. The device includes (a) a pair of Light Emitting Diode (LED) high illumination light blocks with optional strobe functions; (b) an elongated Light Emitting Diode (LED) high illumination light bar; (c) a high illumination reflective safety tape; and (d) display module having a display (Video and Audio); (e) an audio systems and amplifiers; and (f) remote Controllers for the screen display and video alerts.
Universal brake light control mechanism
A brake light pulser, particularly for center high middle stop lamps, that senses the voltage and current requirements for various types of light-emitting devices (LEDs, LED arrays, incandescent lamps, etc.) and adjusts the supplied current and voltage to the particular type of light-emitting device to which it is connected. A microprocessor with a flash-based architecture is used to process the sensed current and amperage into signals to control a constant current/constant voltage controller to provide correctly configured power to a MOSFET. The MOSFET is controlled by the microprocessor, which stores pulse command sequences programmed in directly over a CAN bus or remotely via a serial data link from a built-in RF transceiver. The pulsed configured power output of the MOSFET is supplied to a brake light.
