RESIN COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE
A required weld strength is ensured even when the shape of a first resin member is formed in a desired design shape. A lamp lens and a lamp housing are provided. The lamp lens and the lamp housing are fixed to each other by welding under pressure. The lamp lens includes a body portion, a leg portion, and a welding portion. As a result, a required weld strength is ensured even when the shape of the body portion of the lamp lens is shaped in a desired design shape.
Rear turn lamp
A rear turn lamp has a structure formed of divided components, i.e., a first lamp unit provided to a fixed portion of a vehicle body and a second lamp unit provided to a movable portion of the vehicle body. The first lamp unit is provided with a controller. A first lighting circuit turns on multiple first light sources. A second lighting circuit turns on multiple second light sources.
VEHICLE LAMP
A function member is disposed between a second lens cover and a second lighting unit so as to overlap the third light emitting area when seen in a front view, and the function member has a function of, when the light emitting surface is seen in a front view, transmitting through light emitted in the third light emitting area, and a function of, when the light emitting surface is seen from a view from diagonally above, blocking light emitted above than a first light emitting area and a second light emitting area among the light emitted in the third light emitting area, and transmitting through light emitted between the first light emitting area and the second light emitting area among the light emitted in the third light emitting area.
Edge lighting for a continuous illumination appearance
A light system of a vehicle comprising: a housing comprising: a glue bucket; a glue leg located partially or entirely within the glue bucket; and a light guide located between the glue bucket and the glue leg; wherein the light system is located proximate to a gap in the vehicle and the light guide guides light from the light guide into the glue leg and from the glue leg across the gap so that the light extends across the gap to illuminate the gap.
Vehicular lamp
A vehicular lamp is provided capable of enabling an observer to visually recognize the first and the second light-emitting areas as if they are integrated (connected) with each other when emitting light regardless of viewpoint positions. The vehicular lamp includes: a first light-emitting area and a second light-emitting area adjacent to each other in a horizontal direction with a gap; a third light-emitting area observed through the gap; a gap light-emitting unit disposed behind the gap; and a light control unit disposed between the gap and the gap light-emitting unit. The gap light-emitting unit includes a front and upper view light-emitting units disposed therebelow. The upper view light-emitting unit and the light control unit each have a lower portion extending downward. The light control unit includes an optical element controlling light from the upper view light-emitting unit by a predetermined angle upward so that the light passes through the gap.
MODULAR TAILGATE
A modular gate combined with multiple functions which can be easily employed with existing tailgates without any hardware or mounting modifications to existing truck beds. There is provided a modular tailgate system having a tailgate portion in combination with a plurality of functions. The modular tailgate system integrates any combinations of at least two of the plurality of features without affecting existing body sides and/or existing truck beds. Integrated features include a multi-functional gate (e.g., swing, drop, etc), storage (e.g., normal, sealed, refrigerated, heated, etc), step(s), lighting (e.g., ingress/egress, bed interior, removable, trailer hitch, parking, etc), bed extension(s), power (e.g., 12v and/or 110v), tie downs (e.g., ratchets, anchors, etc), sawhorse, magnet(s), table(s), bench(es), seat(s), net(s), any other predetermined desired function, etc., and combinations thereof.
REAR LAMP UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM
A rear lamp unit control system for a vehicle including: a first lamp provided on a vehicle body side of a vehicle rear face; a second lamp provided on an opening-closing body side of the vehicle rear face; and a controller configured to control the first lamp and the second lamp. When an opening-closing body of the vehicle is in a closed state, the controller is configured to control the first lamp and the second lamp so that the first lamp and the second lamp turn on at different luminous intensities to each other. In response to the second lamp being in need to be turned on when the opening-closing body is in an open state, the controller is configured to turn the first lamp on at a luminous intensity that is equivalent to a luminous intensity of the second lamp when the second lamp is turned on.
LOW PROFILE REAR LAMP APPLIQUE ASSEMBLY
A rear liftgate assembly with at least one rear lamp applique assembly and process for manufacturing same. The lamp applique assembly includes a rear lamp applique housing with at least one attachment surface for attaching to an outer panel of the liftgate assembly. A plurality of integrated snap attachment features are provided to connect the lamp applique assembly to the outer panel, thereby eliminating additional bonding and fasteners. A self-sealing wire harness connected accepts an integrated lamp connector, thereby eliminating the need for access openings, to further minimize water intrusion, and eliminate gaskets.
Vehicle having a rear light having a screen with tab with visible markings
A motor vehicle has a rear light to which a screen, which covers a light housing of the rear light is attached in the region of a water channel arranged or formed adjacent to a rear opening of the motor vehicle. Advantageously, the screen has a passage opening or a cutout that, in the mounted state of the screen, is occupied by a tab of the light housing of the rear light whose shape is complementary to that of the passage opening or the cutout of the screen. The marks relating to the rear light are applied to a tab surface of the tab, and/or are introduced into the tab surface, that is visible from outside the vehicle when the screen is in its mounted state.
