CAMERA ASSEMBLY FOR AN INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE CAB
The invention relates to a camera assembly (50) for an industrial vehicle cab (5) comprising a side door (15) and a step, the camera assembly (50) being designed to be mounted on the cab (5) above the door (15) and comprising:a supporting arm (51) provided, at a first end thereof, with a mounting device for mounting on the cab (5);a camera arranged on said supporting arm (51), for providing an image of an area located rearwards and/or sidewards, in the operative position;a lighting system (30) including at least one light source, the lighting system (30) being mounted on the supporting arm (51) or housed therein and being arranged to provide a light beam (31) directed downwards for illuminating the step, in the operative position.
Illumination device having elongated light pipe and one or more attachment wings
An illumination device that includes an elongated light pipe and attachment wings integrally formed on the sides of the light pipe so that the illumination device can be easily, yet securely, installed within a containment channel, such as those found on the underside of a vehicle step rail. The elongated light pipe is made of an optically transmissive material, the attachment wings are made of a different resilient material, and the overall device is a single extruded component that has a co-extrusion boundary separating the two materials. The illumination device illuminates the ground, for example, when passengers are entering or exiting the vehicle.
Retractable illuminated running board
An illumination system for a vehicle running board comprises at least one lighting module in connection with a step portion of the running board. The lighting module extends longitudinally along the running board proximate to at least one door of the vehicle. The lighting module comprises a first light source disposed in a first end portion of the lighting module and a second light source disposed in a second end portion of the lighting module. A waveguide forms an emission surface extending longitudinally along a side portion of the step portion. A controller is configured to activate the first light source illuminating the side portion in a first color and activate the second light source to illuminate the side portion in a second color.
Linear illumination device
A linear illumination device is provided in which a transparent light guide made of glass is recessed in a profile opposite to a dark surface. A linear illumination device is also provided having a glass fiber bundle in a dyed tube.
ILLUMINATION SILL PLATE CAPABLE OF REPLACING AT LEAST ONE POWER CELL
An illumination sill plate capable of replacing at least one power cell contains: a base, a light emitting module, the at least one power cell, a transparent cap, a cover plate, and at least one anti-leakage element. The base includes a waterproof barrier and a receiving groove. The light emitting module is fixed in the receiving groove. The at least one power cell is accommodated in the receiving groove so as to supply power to the light emitting module. The transparent cap is configured to cover an opening of the waterproof barrier and has at least one orifice. The cover plate is removably covered on the base and is removed from the base, and the cover plate includes a display window. The at least one anti-leakage element is mounted below the cover plate and is matingly accommodated in the two orifices respectively, when the cover plate is removably covered on the base.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A running board top plate is provided that comprises a plurality of light-diffusing waveguides, a reflective layer positioned around a portion of each light-diffusing waveguide, a base layer configured to receive one or more of the light-diffusing waveguides and the reflective layer, and a clear lens layer positioned over the light-diffusing waveguides, the reflective layer, and the base layer.
Light assembly for vehicle and method of using the same
A light assembly for a motor vehicle according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a light source and a lens arrangement. The lens arrangement includes a collimator having an inner surface adjacent the light source and a flat, planar outer surface. This disclosure also relates to a motor vehicle including the subject light assembly, and a method of using the light assembly.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INDIRECTLY ILLUMINATING A STEP SURFACE OF A VEHICLE RUNNING BOARD
Systems and methods of indirectly illuminating a step surface of a vehicle running board are provided. A running board may include an upper step surface and at least one lighting element provided at an inboard underside of the running board to directly illuminate the undercarriage of the vehicle and a ground surface below the running board. The lighting element may be configured to direct light to a reflecting element provided at the undercarriage for reflecting light provided by the at least one lighting element to indirectly illuminate the upper step surface of the running board. Associated vehicles including the running board are provided. Associated methods are also provided.
OPTICAL ELEMENT, PROJECTION MODULE, VEHICLE AND METHOD
The invention relates to an optical element having a plurality of projection lenses (4) and at least one housing (2). in which the projection lenses (4) are accommodated. The projection lenses (4) are connected to the housing (2) by overmolding the projection lenses (4) during the production of the housing 2 by means of an injection molding method. Furthermore. the invention relates to a projection module having the optical element, to a vehicle having the optical element and to a method for producing the optical element.
