Method for controlling direction indicator and device for controlling direction indicator
A direction indicator is configured to start blinking in response to an operation of a driver of a subject vehicle and automatically turn off after a first blinking time elapses. When the subject vehicle changes lanes in an automated or autonomous manner due to the operation of the driver, a control apparatus is used to extend the first blinking time to a second blinking time longer than the first blinking time and control the direction indicator to automatically turn off.
Lever switch mounted on a vehicle
To provide a lever switch that reduces collision sound when a switch moving body rotates while reducing the number of parts. A click feeling generator is made integrally of an elastic member and disposed inside a third case. An operation lever is operated to rotate the switch moving body with respect to the third case. The click feeling generator includes clicking surfaces that abut on a tip end of the switch moving body to impart a click feeling, a shoulder portion, and a low rigidity portion. A corner portion of the switch moving body in the rotation direction abuts on the corresponding low rigidity portion to limit a rotation range of the switch moving body.
LEVER SWITCH MOUNTED ON VEHICLE
Provided is a lever switch with an improved operation feeling. In the lever switch, a clicking surface of the click feeling generator abuts with an end portion of a switch moving body turning about a turn fulcrum in response to an operation of an operation lever, and generates a click feeling by causing a reaction force against the operation of the operation lever. A region of the clicking surface forms a shape of a curved face convex toward the turn fulcrum, where the region ranges between a first position where the reaction force starts to decrease from the peak and a second position where the reaction force becomes zero, in a stroke in which the switch moving body turns from a first angle to a second angle. The radius of curvature of the region is the maximum at a portion adjoining the first position in the region.
U-turn signal system and kit
A U-turn signal system; the U-turn signal system includes an exterior-vehicle illuminating U-Turn signal assembly, an interior-vehicle illuminating U-Turn signal assembly, and an activation device having a radio frequency transmitter in wireless communication with the exterior-vehicle illuminating U-Turn signal assembly and the interior-vehicle illuminating U-Turn signal assembly each having radio frequency receivers. The U-turn signal system may be installed on a host-vehicle and provides means for indicating an intent to make a U-turn.
Vehicle lamp and lamp control module
A vehicle lamp includes a turn lamp, a nonvolatile memory, a signal processing device, and a drive circuit. The turn lamp includes a plurality of light emitting elements that independently controllable to be turned on and off. The nonvolatile memory stores a parameter related to control of the plurality of light emitting elements. The signal processing device generates, based on the parameter, a plurality of turn-on commands indicating turn-on states of the plurality of light emitting elements at each time point by executing a software program. The drive circuit drives each of the plurality of light emitting elements based on the plurality of turn-on commands.
Vehicle U-turn signal indicating system
A vehicle U-turn signal indicating system for alerting on-coming and trailing vehicles to an operator's intention to make a U-turn is disclosed herein. The vehicle U-turn signal indicating system comprises a first lighting system provided at a front of a vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle U-turn signal indicating system also comprises a second lighting system provided at a rear of the vehicle. Furthermore, the vehicle U-turn signal indicating system includes a first U-turn signal activator and a second U-turn signal activator provided in the vehicle. The first U-turn signal activator is activated to flash the first lighting system and the second lighting system. The second U-turn signal activator is activated to flash the first lighting system and the third lighting system to alert the on-coming and the following vehicles to an operator's intention to make a U-turn.

Colored light assembly for an automotive vehicle
An automotive vehicle includes a body, a housing disposed on the body, and an exterior lens coupled to the housing defining a cavity therebetween. The vehicle additionally includes an interior lens disposed in the cavity. The exterior and interior lenses have distinct first and second colors, respectively. The vehicle also includes a reflector disposed in the cavity. The reflector has an at least partially reflective coating disposed thereon and is positioned to reflect light from the interior lens and to the exterior lens. The vehicle further includes first and second light sources configured to emit light having a third color. The first light source is oriented to direct light through the exterior lens without passing through the interior lens, and the second light source is oriented to direct light through the interior lens, reflect from the reflector, and subsequently through the exterior lens.
VEHICLE, AND CONTROL APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A position to which a turn signal lever can be moved includes a neutral position, middle positions, and end positions. A detection unit detects a start request of a lane change operation based on the turn signal lever having been operated to the middle position in one of two different directions, and detects a cancellation request of the lane change operation based on the turn signal lever having been operated to the middle position in the other of the two different directions during the execution of the lane change operation.
Display apparatus, vehicle having the same, and control method thereof
A vehicle includes: a cluster including a display panel, and a barrier panel disposed adjacent the display panel and having a plurality of barriers; an image obtainer acquiring an image; a steering wheel disposed adjacent the cluster and the image obtainer; and a controller configured to determine whether or not a condition for performing a three-dimensional image mode is satisfied based on a manipulation state of the steering wheel, to control operations of the display panel and the barrier panel to recognize a user's line of sight based on the image of the image obtainer, perform the three-dimensional image mode based on the recognized line of sight of the user when the condition is satisfied, and to control the operations of the display panel and the barrier panel to perform a two-dimensional image mode when the is not satisfied.
