RGB LED SIGNAL LIGHTS
A vehicle lighting fixture and system where the fixture includes light emitting diodes (LEDs) and a lens. A controller monitors vehicle conditions and sends lighting commands to activate one or more LEDs based on the vehicle conditions. The LEDs can be red-green-blue (RGB) LEDs capable of emitting various different colors. The lighting commands can include illumination color, intensity level and on/off. The LEDs can be arranged in groups, where each group is separated from the other groups. The lighting commands can include a blink/steady designation, where blink causes the group to blink in the illumination color, and steady causes the group to steadily light in the illumination color. A blink frequency can control the blink rate in the illumination color. The lighting commands can include an intensity level; where when a group is activated it is illuminated in the illumination color at the intensity level.

AUTOMOTIVE LAMP
Multiple light sources are arranged in an array. A light guide member receives light emitted from the multiple light sources on its back face, and outputs the light thus received from its front face. The light guide member has a base portion such that its back face faces the multiple light sources and such that it extends in the array direction of the multiple light sources. Multiple back-face protrusions and multiple front-face protrusions are formed such that they protrude from the back face and the front face of the base portion. The front-face protrusion has multiple continuous faces in the circumferential direction along the front face of the base portion.

The present invention aims to improve the visibility of a display drawn on a road surface and to providing a high alerting function for passengers of other vehicles and pedestrians, etc. A drawing device 1 for vehicles that draws a display 10 on a road surface 200 by using an anther colored light. The amber colored light is irradiated such that a brightness contrast calculated using the road surface drawing brightness and the background brightness is at least 0.2, when the display brightness is considered the road surface drawing brightness and the brightness of the environment around the vehicle is considered the background brightness. As a result, the brightness contrast between the road surface drawing brightness and background brightness increases, thereby improving visibility of a display drawn on a road surface and providing a high alerting function for passengers of other vehicles and pedestrians, etc.
LED RETROFIT VEHICLE SIGNALING LAMP WITH PROJECTION LED LIGHT SOURCE, SMARTPHONE APP FOR CONTROLLING IT AND CORRESPONDING SYSTEM
An LED retrofit signaling lamp is described herein. The lamp includes a lamp body, which includes a cap, a projection part, and a burner part between the cap and the projection part. Power contacts are exposed from the cap. A projection LED light source is provided in the projection part and angled to provide a projected image near to the vehicle when activated. A signaling LED light source is provided in the burner part angled to emit non-projected light via the projection part at angles that avoid the emitted light being blocked by the projection LED light source. The projection LED light source and the signaling LED light source are electrically coupled to the power contacts in parallel to each other.

A vehicular drawing device is mounted in a vehicle and draws an indication mark of a predetermined shape on a road surface in a traveling direction of the vehicle using light. Drawing of the indication mark on the road surface is performed when a direction indicator is operating or when steering of the vehicle is being performed. Drawing of the indication mark is stopped or a direction in which the indication mark is drawn is changed when predetermined conditions are satisfied.
