Enhanced Vehicle Safety System
A system to enhance vehicle safety, comprising a vehicle having at least one visual signal light positioned in the proximity to said front end of the vehicle; where the visual signal light illuminates when said vehicle's is decelerating via its braking system where the visual signal light is comprised of a power source and a wireless connection module wherein said visual signal light is controlled by the vehicle via its wireless connection module and an audio module that is activated by the vehicle when the vehicle is decelerating via its braking system.
INTELLIGENT HEADLIGHT SYSTEM FOR BICYCLE
A intelligent headlight system for a bicycle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a bicycle body; a portable terminal which may be carried by a rider of the bicycle body and has a GPS module, for detecting the location information of the bicycle body, so as to measure the running speed on the basis of the location information of the bicycle body; and a headlight apparatus which is disposed on the bicycle body so as to cast light on the scene ahead of the bicycle body, is communicatably connected to the portable terminal so as to receive the running speed of the bicycle body, and is formed such that irradiation patterns may vary in accordance with the running speed of the bicycle body.
Notification device
A notification device includes a calculation unit calculating, based on a speed of a vehicle, a vehicle stoppage distance by which the vehicle travels until the vehicle enters a stopped state while performing autonomous driving, a notification unit performing notification about information with respect to an outside of the vehicle, and a notification controller causing the notification unit not to perform notification about information indicating that the vehicle is in the middle of deceleration until the vehicle passes by a first soon-to-cross pedestrian and to cause the notification unit to perform notification about the information after the vehicle passes by the first soon-to-cross pedestrian when a distance between the vehicle and the first soon-to-cross pedestrian is smaller than the vehicle stoppage distance and a distance between the vehicle and a second soon-to-cross pedestrian is equal to or greater than the vehicle stoppage distance.
Vehicle indication device
A vehicle indication device includes: a road surface drawing unit mounted on a vehicle and configured to draw one or more notification indications by light on a road surface in a direction of travel of the vehicle; and a control unit configured to, when a turn signal of the vehicle is on, cause the road surface drawing unit to either draw the one or more notification indications in a first color on the road surface or turn off display of the one or more notification indications in a case where the vehicle gives way to a pedestrian, and cause the road surface drawing unit to draw the one or more notification indications in a second color different from the first color on the road surface in a case different from the case where the vehicle gives way to a pedestrian.
ABSOLUTE ACCELERATION SENSOR FOR USE WITHIN MOVING VEHICLES
A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a braking of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the braking of the vehicle. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated based upon an application of one or both of a front brake and a rear brake. The headlight activation circuit is able to modulate the headlight between an on position and an off position or modulate the headlight between a high beam position and a low beam position. Consequently, the vehicle is better seen as it approaches likely congestion areas such as intersections and slowing or stopped traffic and attempts to enter traffic.
VEHICLE FRONT ALERT SYSTEM
A visual deceleration indicator signals to pedestrians and other vehicles that a vehicle is slowing down or coming to a stop. Illuminating devices, such as LEDs, contained in a license plate frame located in the front of the car or otherwise, are activated when the vehicle decelerates. An accelerometer or other sensory device detects deceleration and sends a signal to illuminate the LEDs, thereby letting others know the vehicle is slowing down. The license plate frame may be connected directly to a rear brake light component without the use of accelerometers or other sensors. When the brake is applied, the LEDs in the license plate frame are illuminated. The LEDs may be contained in other forms and located in different positions on the front or side of the car. The indicator might be one color to indicate braking and another color to indicate it is on, but not braking.
ABSOLUTE ACCELERATION SENSOR FOR USE WITHIN MOVING VEHICLES
A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a change in speed of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the change in speed. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle reduces speed and/or is decelerating as it approaches an intersection. Additionally, the headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle accelerates from a stopped position or reaches a certain traveling speed.
FRONT BRAKE LIGHT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
A vehicle implementing a brake light indicator system, the brake light indicator system including a brake pedal to allow the vehicle to slow down in response to a driver depressing the brake pedal, at least one front brake indicator light disposed at a front portion of the vehicle, and a sensor to transmit a signal to the at least one front brake indicator light in response to the driver depressing the brake pedal, such that the at least one front brake indicator light illuminates in response to receiving the signal.
