MOUNTING MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE SENSOR
A mounting mechanism for a vehicle sensor includes a fixing board and a mounting base. The fixing board has a support portion and a plurality of flexible wing portions connected to the edge of the support portion. The mounting base is disposed at the support portion of the fixing board and contains the vehicle sensor. The flexible wing portions of the fixing board are bent and deformed such that the fixing board is fixed to various non-flat surfaces, for example, bends of the bumper, to render it easy to mount the vehicle sensor in place.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE HEADLIGHT
A control device for a vehicle headlight is a control device that controls radiation of light from the vehicle headlight, and includes a radiation controller that causes the vehicle headlight to radiate pattern light, which includes a first pattern, to a marginal portion that exceeds a portion corresponding to a vehicle width of the vehicle.
LIGHT MODULE WITH COLOR CONVERTER
A light module for use with a vehicle includes a housing defining an internal volume and an outlet, a light source positioned within the internal volume and configured to emit light of a first color, a converter positioned between the light source and the outlet, and a lens coupled to the housing. The converter receives the light of the first color and is configured such that, after receiving the light of the first color, light of a second color different from the first color passes out of the converter. The converter is separated from the light source. The lens includes a first portion extending across the outlet and a second portion extending from the first portion toward the converter. The light of the second color passes through the second portion and the first portion and out of the light module.
Light Beam Assembly for Use with Trailers for Trucks
A light projector assembly for use with a trailer and a truck is presented. The light projector assembly is mountable to the trailer in proximity to where a tail light blinker assembly is attached, e.g. directly underneath the truck. The light projector assembly operates in sync with the tail light assembly, i.e when the tail light is activated by the driver of the truck, the light projector assembly and tail light assembly are both activated. The light projector assembly includes a lamp that when activated by the truck operator to indicate a direction of travel causes a stream of light to project from the trailer at angles to the horizontal and vertical of the trailer so that the beam of light is projected down on the ground in a way that indicates a distance between the back of the trailer and the end of the beam of light.
Whisker illumination apparatus
A whisker illumination apparatus is for attachment to a plow blade with one such apparatus being secured to opposite sides of the plow blade for marking the outer extremities of the plow blade. Each such apparatus includes an elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member having top and bottom ends, and a mounting piece secured to the bottom end of the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member, and for mounting from a mounting surface of the snow plow blade so that the elongated tubular member is disposed in a substantially vertical position. The apparatus also includes an elongated light string that extends within the elongated tubular member between the top and bottom ends thereof, a source of electrical energy for the elongated light string, and conductor wiring for connecting the source of electrical energy to the elongated light string.
Automotive lamp
The present disclosure provides an automotive lamp, and more particularly, to an automotive lamp capable of informing an ambient vehicle approaching from one side behind the vehicle of a vehicle state by irradiating light of a road pattern to indicate the vehicle state to an area behind the vehicle. The automotive lamp includes a lamp unit disposed in a rear lamp housing of a vehicle and a detection unit configured to detect whether a reverse shift stage is selected. The lamp unit is configured to irradiate a first light distribution pattern that forms a reversing light signal pattern in the rearward direction of the vehicle, and a second light distribution pattern that forms a road pattern on the rearward road surface of the vehicle. The first light distribution pattern and the second light distribution pattern are formed simultaneously, when the reverse shift stage is selected.
TRAILER GUIDE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A trailer guide system adapted for mounting or otherwise fixating to a trailer is provided. The trailer guide system can include a guide member, an indicator portion, and a mounting portion. The mounting portion can include a pivoting mechanism to facilitate pivoting movement of the guide member from an active vertical to a non-active horizontal position. The pivoting mechanism can include various techniques, devices, and mechanisms, including a magnet and hinge construct, a spring-based construct, and the like.
Projected Laser Lines/Graphics To Visually Indicate Truck Turning Path
A system and method are provided and include a light source projector with a positional actuator mounted on a subject vehicle that projects laser lines on a roadway upon which the subject vehicle is traveling. A controller receives steering angle data from a steering system of the subject vehicle, the steering angle data corresponding to a steering angle of the subject vehicle. The controller determines a turning path of the subject vehicle based on the steering angle data and controls the positional actuator to project the laser lines on the roadway to correspond to the determined turning path of the subject vehicle.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A LASER EMITTER FOR THE DOOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Multifunction assembly comprised of: an outer surface structure (CAR) containing a side door (D) that supports at least one exterior mirror assembly (RVM), an exterior door handle assembly (HE) of said door, and an exterior laser emitter (LE1) which emits a fixed and direct line of laser light (LL1) downwards on said ground adjacent to the vehicle, indicating an area (DA) where the doors open and combines functions associated with other indicator signal devices (BL), sensors and open door commands, and an ultraviolet light emitter device (EUV).
Adjustable vertical attachment between hood and vehicle side
The disclosed technology describes a method and a pole mounting mechanism for marking the sides of a vehicle to serve as a guide for a student driver when maneuvering a vehicle during a driving lesson. The mechanism includes a shoe from which an adjustable pole extends. The disclosed technology also includes the method of attaching a pole mounting mechanism to each side of a vehicle hood adjacent to the fender and adjusting the poles, so they are substantially vertical with the surface on which the vehicle rests. In one embodiment, a tongue is fixedly attached to the one side of the shoe and extends to the opposite end of the shoe forming a gap, wherein the side of a vehicle hood may be inserted to frictionally attach the pole mounting mechanism to the hood.
