VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle control device is a vehicle control device mounted on a first vehicle, and the vehicle control device includes a light source configured to project light outside of a vehicle; and a light source controller configured to control the light source to project a projection image which is positioned outside the first vehicle viewed from above and is along at least part of a periphery of the first vehicle in a case where the first vehicle is stopped.
Lighting Apparatus for a Motor Vehicle
A lighting device for a motor vehicle has a laser light source from the light of which light radiation is generated into the area around the motor vehicle during operation of the lighting device. In the lighting device, a plurality of optical channels is associated with the laser light source, and the light of the laser light source can be guided via each optical channel in order to generate a separate light spread associated with the optical channel from the guided light in the area around the motor vehicle. An optical element, which can be switched by a control device into different switching states, is provided between the laser light source and the plurality of optical channels. A different switching state is associated with each optical channel. In each respective switching state, light from the laser light source is fed only into the optical channel with which the respective switching state is associated, by means of the optical element.
Mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle
Method and apparatus are disclosed for mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle. An example vehicle includes projection lamps and a body control module. The body control module determines a distance of a mobile device from the vehicle. The body control module also projects a representation of a boundary around the vehicle using the projection lamps and modifies the representation of the boundary based on the distance of the mobile device from the vehicle and an operational state of the vehicle.
DEPLOYABLE ALARMING AND SAFETY ZONE FOR USE WITH A TANKER DELIVERY
A deployable safety zone system includes at least a first arm mounted on a support member and being movable between stored and operating positions relative to the support member. The support member and first arm define a safety zone between then when the first arm is in the operating position. The safety system may include reflective mechanisms, light sources, and an alarming system. The alarming system may include a transmitter positioned on one part of the safety system, a receiver positioned on another part of the safety system and an alarm mechanism. A signal may be sent between the transmitter and receiver and if that signal is interrupted, a visual or audible alarm may be generated. Alternatively, the deployable safety zone system may comprise a sensor assembly disposed adjacent the support member. The alarmed safety zone is defined between the support member and the sensor assembly.

The alarmed safety zone is defined between the support member and the sensor assembly.
Deployable alarming and safety zone for use with a tanker delivery
A deployable safety zone system includes a truck including a tank and a fuel nozzle assembly and an alarming system including a sensor assembly mounted to the truck. The alarming system defines an alarmed safety zone disposed adjacent the truck and adjacent the fuel nozzle assembly. The sensor assembly defines a perimeter of the alarmed safety zone. The perimeter is free of any physical support structures. A method for creating a deployable alarming and safety zone includes operably engaging an alarming system including a sensor assembly with a truck and deploying an alarmed safety zone including a perimeter adjacent the truck. The perimeter is defined by the sensor assembly and the perimeter is free of any physical support structures.
Truck Parking Safety System
A truck parking safety system for alerting drivers to unsafe parking practices includes a speaker and a plurality of lights that are in operational communication with a microprocessor. The microprocessor is in operational communication with a sensor array that is configured to detect truck brake and trailer brake engagement as well as driver's door position. When the driver's side door is open and the parking brakes for either or both the truck and the trailer brakes are not engaged the microprocessor activates the speaker and the plurality of lights to create an audio-visual alarm. The microprocessor ceases the audio-visual alarm when the sensor array detects that the parking brake and the trailer brake are each engaged.
Mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle
Method and apparatus are disclosed for mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle. A vehicle includes a camera and a body control module. The body control module sends an instruction to a mobile device and captures, with the camera, an image of the mobile device. The body control module also analyzes the image to determine an initial location of the mobile device relative to the vehicle, and based on the initial location, performs dead reckoning on the mobile device to track the mobile device. When the mobile device is within a threshold distance, the body control module enables autonomous parking.
Delivery lighting
A vehicle control system may include one or more processors and a memory comprising instructions executable by the processors, the processors operable to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising detecting a signal to activate vehicle lamps in a delivery lighting pattern. In some embodiments, the processors may be further operable to execute the instructions to perform operations including activating the vehicle lamps in the delivery lighting pattern, wherein a flashing frequency of the delivery lighting pattern differs from a flashing frequency of a hazard lighting pattern.
