Mesh lighting system for emergency vehicles
A mesh lighting system for emergency vehicles and method for retrofitting a vehicle with emergency lights is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of independent signalling light sources each supplied by a dedicated source of energy, a control module, and a low powered wireless network connecting said control module with the plurality of light sources. The plurality of independent signalling light sources emit at least one light flash in response to a control signal received from the control module.
RUNNING BOARD ILLUMINATION SYSTEM WITH PASSIVE MARKER LIGHT GLOW
A running board illumination system is provided for a motor vehicle. That running board illumination system includes a first illumination element and an optical lens for directing light emitted by the first illumination element onto a running board of the motor vehicle. That optical lens may further include a fluorescent coating to provide a passive marker light glow when the first illumination element is extinguished.

That optical lens may further include a fluorescent coating to provide a passive marker light glow when the first illumination element is extinguished.
ALARM DEVICE AND ALARM SYSTEM USING THE SAME
A road traffic alarm and warning device, moveably mounted to an enclosure of a car and configured to notify a traffic obstacle and coupled to a main controller, includes a first communication unit configured to couple to the main controller and send out a control signal. An operation unit is configured to receive the control signal and output a driving signal according to the control signal and a driving unit is configured to receive the driving signal and move as required driving the alarm device to move out of the enclosure and into action. An alarm system with the alarm device is further disclosed.
Method and system of driving assistance for collision avoidance
The invention concerns a method of driving assistance for assisting a human driver in safely driving a vehicle called host vehicle, implemented by a processor on board of said host vehicle. The host vehicle comprises means for obtaining first information relative to the host vehicle and means for obtaining second information relative to at least one other vehicle in a neighborhood of the host vehicle, said first and second information being obtained at regular time instants, comprising triggering an intervention of a collision avoidance system. The method comprises a step (51) of intervention decision adapted to decide whether to trigger the intervention of the collision avoidance system at a current time instant (T.sub.c) or to postpone said intervention decision at a later time instant (T.sub.l) depending upon additional first and second information to be acquired between the current time instant (T.sub.c) and the later time instant (T.sub.l), said additional first and second information having an associated probability. The invention also concerns an associated system of driving assistance.
Flasher vehicle interface module
A flasher interface module for a vehicle having factory or original equipment manufacturer (OEM) lights. The flasher interface module includes a plurality of input and output ports corresponding to the factory lights of the vehicle and a plurality of leads corresponding to each of the input and output ports. The flasher interface module is configured such that the input and output ports operate independently of the vehicle such that factory lights are independently controlled by the module.
Vehicle control system
An control system for use in a vehicle includes at least one functional unit adapted to be mounted in the vehicle, each functional unit having an alert device, connector and a remote controller configured to control a desired state of the respective alert device, and a central controller configured to sense a state of the vehicle and generate a desired state of the functional units based at least partially on the sensed state of the vehicle a functional connection between the central controller and the at least one functional unit.
Ejection type safety warning sign for car and ejection system thereof
The invention discloses an ejection type safety warning sign for car, having a polyhedral structure for suppressing tumbling in a free state, capable of being restrained into tubular storage state by external force, and automatically releasing as polyhedral structure when external force disappears; polyhedral structure having warning marker on surface. A ejection system comprises: warning sign; launch tube having inner cavity for accommodating warning sign in tubular storage state; pressure tank communicated with end of launch tube; solenoid valve disposed between launch tube and pressure tank; controller connected to solenoid valve; launch tube having piston for pushing warning sign. When sudden situation occurs during driving, driver can press ejection button of warning sign while braking, so that warning sign can be ejected and stays near position of braking. Location of warning sign is at distance from position parking, eliminating take warning sign, promptly alerting rear car, reducing rear-end accidents.
Vehicle-mounted apparatus
An apparatus mountable on a vehicle includes a movable device, a sensor, and a drive controller. The movable device is mountable on the vehicle so that a person around the vehicle sees the movable device. The movable device has at least one light emitter and is capable of rotating around an imaginary line extending in a height direction of the vehicle. The sensor detects a positional relationship between the vehicle and the person. The drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person based on the positional relationship detected by the sensor. The number of the light emitters shining steadily is increased after the drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person.
Urgent vehicle warning indicator using vehicle illumination
Exemplary methods, vehicles, and systems are disclosed. An exemplary method may include establishing at least one visible signal configured to provide a signal during a normal state of a vehicle, detecting an alarm state of the vehicle, and initiating a visible nuisance via the at least one visible signal in response to at least the detected alarm state. An exemplary vehicle may include at least one lighting device configured to provide a signal during a normal state of a vehicle, and a processor configured to detect an alarm state of the vehicle and initiate a visible nuisance via the at least one visible signal in response to at least the detected alarm state.
