A method includes receiving data indicating that a break-in attempt has occurred at one or more mobility units among a plurality of mobility units within a geographic area within a predetermined period of time, determining whether break-in attempts have occurred at more than a predetermined threshold number of the plurality of mobility units within the geographic area, and upon determination that break-in attempts have occurred at more than the predetermined threshold number of the plurality of mobility units within the geographic area, transmitting a signal to one or more mobility units of the plurality of mobility units within the geographic area to cause security lights associated with the one or more mobility units to illuminate.

An autonomous driving control apparatus for a vehicle includes: a processor that demands a user of a vehicle to take a control authority of the vehicle during an autonomous driving control when a current driving condition is in a limit situation during the autonomous driving control, and starts a minimum risk maneuver to disable reactivation of the autonomous driving control when the control authority is not transferred to the user; and a storage to store a set of instructions to be executed by the processor and data for determination and performance by the processor. In particular, the processor automatically flashes an emergency light when the minimum risk maneuver is started, and controls automatic flashing of the emergency light to not be released by the user when the vehicle is not in a stopped state.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for detecting, alerting, and acting to prevent unattended vehicle deaths. An embodiment operates by receiving one or more signals from one or more presence sensors in a vehicle and analyzing the signals to detect the presence of a person or animal inside the vehicle. The system further receives one or more signals from one or more environment sensors on the vehicle and analyzes the signals to detect a dangerous environmental condition. If the system determines that both the presence of a person or animal has been detected inside the vehicle and a dangerous environmental condition has been detected, it activates one or more vehicle systems that mitigate the dangerous environmental condition and sends an alert to one or more predetermined recipients.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for detecting, alerting, and acting to prevent unattended vehicle deaths. An embodiment operates by receiving one or more signals from one or more presence sensors in a vehicle and analyzing the signals to detect the presence of a person or animal inside the vehicle. The system further receives one or more signals from one or more environment sensors on the vehicle and analyzes the signals to detect a dangerous environmental condition. If the system determines that both the presence of a person or animal has been detected inside the vehicle and a dangerous environmental condition has been detected, it activates one or more vehicle systems that mitigate the dangerous environmental condition and sends an alert to one or more predetermined recipients.
